Just a diner attached to a gas station. So simple. I had two eggs over easy with two pieces of sausage, toast, and home fries. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the home fries had a delicious flavor. My wife had the liver dinner. She said that it was tender and delicious. The two people working there were very friendly and the atmosphere is definitely moo cow. They serve breakfast all day long and I will be stopping there again.

We often drive I81 to visit my mother in law. We discovered this diner while we were charging our Tesla across the street. GREAT breakfast restaurant. The employees are very nice & the food is great. The pancakes are large and fluffy, the egg & sausage biscuit sandwich very filling & my husband always enjoys the eggs, bacon, biscuit combo. Highly recommend if you’d like a solid breakfast!

As several of the small town places I've been to in the past month have been. This place gave me a great breakfast sandwich with good coffee and was staffed by genuinely nice people.It's not a scientific study but I guarantee you if I'd been to this many diners in big cities I wouldn't have been writing nice stuff. Oh I was a long-haired city boy by the way, decades ago!

Great place to eat. Staff is friendly food is fantastic. I eat here all the time. I have not had a bad experience with this place. They run daily specials so when I don't know what I want to eat I head down here and just get the special. It can get busy around dinner time but the servers do excellent in keeping up with the rush.

Not being from this area, or the State, I believe I can provide a true "unbiased opinion" about the new Tank's restaurant.I was raised on home style cooked meals. The food here met my expectations. My breakfast was properly prepared to quality standards, served hot, and the waitress carried a smile that was pleasing to see. She and the kitchen staff operated with quality and care. I am pleased to say that this under rated diner deserves more support from the locals and be shared with those who travel I-81 corridor in Atkins who are in search of a good breakfast. Thank you Atkins Tank for a wonderful meal.

I got the country fried steak and honestly wish I had never stopped here for lunch.The green beans were way overcooked,The country fried steak Was dry and overcooked with gravy That tasted like flour no flavor whatsoever.

Nestled between a Circle K and Exxon, adorned with myriad hand-painted cows, Atkins Tank is the diner experience we’re all looking for. The silverware is wrapped in plastic, the menu is in plain, simple script. Look out the front window and see Interstate 81, look out the back and see an active train track. It’s places like these that serve as the last bastions of the American legacy. As a non-religious, man, even I thank God for Atkins Tank. Amen and God Bless.

I can’t say enough about how much we love this place. The food is fantastic. The lady that works mornings is so sweet. The cooks rock that kitchen. Great job!Google says they are open on Monday, they are not.

We, like many others, were staying across the street in the comfort Inn and needed somewhere to eat.While we were initially a bit thrown off from its proximity to the gas station, the inside of the place was charming (all manners of bovine decor!) and the food hit the spot. Our server was too sweet and made us feel at home!

Love the food here. And they have really quick service. Your food is always fresh. One of my favorites is the BBQ pork sandwich. It's delicious and I highly recommend it. The only thing that does suck about the Tank is its such a great place that they run out of stuff quite often. Even still the place is great and they don't get enough credit or support.

A very good meal. Clean restrooms. Friendly wait staff. They were out of a couple things on the menu, but not a big deal. They serve breakfast all day if you like that option. They should have a radio playing to add a little ambiance. The place is just too quiet for my taste. You can hear everyone's conversation and vice versa.Features: No masks required.

A great little spot for breakfast! The waiter was super sweet and had our food out in a timely manner. The breakfast items are a great value for what you pay (and what you eat)! Their scrambled eggs are heavenly andthe bacon is nice and crispy! It's just an overall pleasant diner experience, so if you're a visting tourist or just so happen to be looking to try something new, I reccomend this place.

Great place to eat. Only fault I have is I stood in the bathroom for 10 minutes waiting on someone to come wash my hands for me. The sign clearly states that employees "must wash hands". I finally got tired of waiting and just washed them myself. Hope I don't get in trouble!
