First time in this cool store! Me & My Pupdawg! 🐕Tightly packed and well-stocked. Prices a bit higher for simple things ($8 for the cheapest water bowl???) — however the selection of any needed item is extensive, with both fancy and mundane options.Shout out to Zeke (for playing with my pup) and Joey (for introducing me to the store program and info on a trainer) — fine customer service support to help those of us who are just learning about our Fido! **Woof!** ✌️🤠💛

Petco carries the products I need but also has people working there who are immensely helpful. I've been particularly impressed by and am thankful for Dunkin's Dad who has helped me on numerous occasions. He helps me find the cat food I need and if it is not on the shelves will find it in the back. He has offered to carry heavy litter products to my car. He is kind and thoughtful and I so appreciate him.

I was at Unleashed to return some cat food and purchase more cat food. Initially I was surprised when a sales representative told me that I needed a receipt from the sale that was less than 30 days old. I usually buy more than 30 days worth of food at a time.

Five stars for the service and staff, but wanted to say it gets weirdly hot and stuffy in there if you go in the afternoons, felt like there was no AC. Might be ok in the winter, but in the summer it makes for a less than comfortable experience.

I was at the store with my friend and I had a question for the employee and they were so rude giving me attitude for no reason. Im concerned they could have used that on others or maybe its just cause we look young, which it is so rude to be young to the younger citizens because no wonder they do things that others may not like because of people like them ruining their day because they had a bad day.

Always a pleasure shopping here.Convenient location, ample parking, very clean/nice/well-stocked store. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They've ordered products for us when the store was out of stock (pretty rarely happens, though).When we bring our German Shepherd in for a visit, they welcome him with open arms. Which isn't easy. He is a handful. The folks who work here are very clearly customer-focused and animal enthusiasts.

I enjoy going this store as I always get necessary foods and some extra things for my dog. She loves their cow ear treat the best. One near our place Petco Unleashed in DC has been closed. So hoping this one stays open!

I love love LOVE this place! I live a few blocks behind it and I'm SO glad a convenient pet supplies store has opened so close. They have a great selection of dog and cat supplies, including everything I would buy at my normal Petco. The real difference here is the staff. I've brought my dogs in several times and they're always great with them. They're very knowledgeable about the products and take the time with you to help you decide what's right for you without getting annoyed/frustrated, even if you're a little indecisive.I also took my fearful shy little dachshund to one of their anxiety classes on a Saturday and was very pleased with the knowledge of the girl who gave the class. She gave me some great tips! All of the employees are really friendly and love animals, and I love that they have their pets' names on their name tags. One girl in particular has helped me several times and been fantastic- sadly I can't remember her name, but her dog's name is Diezel!TL;DR, I always love coming in here and am so glad it opened!

We took our rescue dog (2 year old male Lab/Pit mix) in for obedience training and were so impressed with the way that Sophia introduced him to training and with the progress that he made that we enrolled in the Complete Package (18 weeks) for adult dogs. We have completed 12 weeks and he is a different dog - calm, attentive, ready for new skills - much different than when we first got him. She helped us become better at training him, sending us a training outline by email, but he still loves her attention when we go to Unleashed. We look forward to the next 6 weeks and really believe that he will do well in the AKC certification test. Sophia also worked wonders with another rescue dog in our group, turning her from a frightened and withdrawn little pup to a friendly, interactive dog who is quickly picking up good manners and social skills. The cost of the training was a small price to pay for a happy and well behaved dog with a better future in our home.

Puppy and dog training classes have been great! We have learned so much. Trainer, Sophia is the very knowledgable and good with all types of dogs. On a day when our dog seemed off she even recommended we get her to the vet and sure enough, she had an infection. Her quick action and professionalism saved our puppy from a more serious illness. Highly recommend!

The selection was good. MAYBE a little boojie for the more affluent pretty owner.The REAL story here is the staff. Unleashed has assembled quite a knowledgeable and friendly team here. They were exceedingly helpful to two unknowledgeable non-dog owners trying to help a friend

My 16 month boxer mix and I have been coming here for the past year. We come here regularly to buy their bulk treats- there is a large variety for just $5/lb! The store is always fully stocked, and if there's anything you're looking for, they'll check the back or make sure a shipment is in for you soon. It is ALWAYS clean, and usually the other patrons are fellow animal lovers so the atmosphere is always welcoming (although you may come across a certain grouch I had the displeasure of dealing with...) I haven't enough words for the attentive and caring staff. Josh and Cara continue to welcome my dog and me, as well as motivate us to be better trained (we're working on it!!) and give honest opinions and advice. This is definitely *our* pet store, and we'll feel guilty going anywhere else!

Sophia is the instructor for the Puppy 2 and Puppy 2 class I took with my new chocolate lab puppy. The classes were worth every minute of time and effort we put into training our dog. Sophia is VERY patient with puppies and humans. We loved the classes and learned a lot.

My husband and I have an 11 month old corgi. We learned of puppy play class at Petco via word of mouth and were able to have our puppy participate from the moment he had all his shots until 6 months. From there, we ended up switching from another dog obedience/training program to work with Sophie of Tailspins at the PetCo Unleashed location. The only reason we aren't currently enrolled in a class is because our puppy has to be 1 before he can take the next class. We appreciate the multiple ways Sophie is able to teach our dog, and the different ways she is able to help us try to do the same thing (but never as well, ha!) at home. We have recommended puppy play class more than a dozen times, and would recommend the small class sizes of Sophie's classes to anyone.

I have consistently received excellent customer service from every employee I've spoken to or interacted with at Petco Unleashed. My doxie puppy has very much enjoyed the loving and patient training she has received in her puppy class, and I have learned quite alot from the trainers who have helped me be a better caretaker for my pup. There are quite a few nice sales at Petco Unleashed, and they have a great rewards program in addition to a fine selection of merchandise including natural, organic, healthful and/or green products available at reasonable prices.

The staff is always super helpful, with excellent insight re. products and tips for a new dog owner. The first time I was there, they found a puzzle toy that the dog -loves_; the second time, they were able to figure out why she didn't like the chewtoy I had gotten elesewhere and found one that she actually does chew (this is a huge accomplishment with my dog).The downside? While the staff and selection is fantastic, the prices are still at the Petco premium: ie, I found the same items online for about half the price afterwards. The have never blinked/made a fuss whenever I've had to bring things back though.

Nice store and very friendly staff, Jose was extremely helpful!We also visited vetco @ petco for very affordable microchip (15$) for our dog. This also referred us to a free pet chip registry, our own vet would do this for 70$ and then hook us up with a yearly paid plan so do the math.

This lot used to be a Blockbuster which always reminds me of the Freddy Prince Junior movie. Also if you want to dress your cat up in a cute holiday outfit then you've found the right place.

They have dead fish in tiny plastic containers. Overall okey store but if you can't take care of the fish then don't sell them

It's a chain pet store. It has pet food. It has dogs (on certain days). It has pet toys. It's reasonably clean and the staff are decent human beings.3 stars. It is what it is.
