Around two weeks ago , I visited Mom’s in order to get a bunch of food for my meal for my family. Most of my recipes required a lot of ingredients and produce, so I knew that this was going to be a long day. Right when I came in, I began looking at the produce and Harrison helped me. He spent time with me individually and picked out the best ingredients for my dish. He was very helpful and seemed to love his job. I will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic store with amazing selection of high quality food and more. I really enjoy shopping here and almost every visit find a new vegan product to try! By far the best fresh produce in town. Also really appreciate supporting local suppliers. You definitely pay up, but you deserve to be expensive.

Obviously expensive but well located and well staffed. I always have great experiences with the people there. The food quality is uncompromising and well curated, however you may not find any large/known brands (which can be a good thing).

Wide selection of quality products. All healthy and conveniently organized to help you select what you need as well as learn about new stuff. The space is very welcoming and staff very courteous and hip. Prices are generally higher than a regular grocery store as you'd expect from a boutique place. Yet, do your research since I found a few items cheaper than on Amazon. The cherry on top is the 10-bin recycling corner. Finally, one place where you can bring all those tricky items like cork, phones, and batteries that you struggled to figure out where to put them.

Overpriced, which I suppose the justify with their exhaustive banned ingredients list. Except this list includes a lot of things that people choose to fear-monger over despite limited scientific evidence it is harmful. I can't believe people are still claiming MSG is harmful even though it's been proven time and time again the fear over it was based on a racist urban legend.

I wander in here at least twice a week. The one place where I can get my Trager Bros. Organic French Sumatra coffee.

My first time shopping at Mom's Organic Market to look for Raw Honey that my Doctor advised me to buy. I ask a Store Associate for assistance in locating the honey and buying the correct kind. The Associate Michelle Lewis was so very helpful !! As I had no idea what kind of honey to buy and Ms. Lewis found exactly what I needed, Raw Unfiltered Honey which is what my Doctor suggested I buy. Michelle Lewis was extremally professional and has a delightful customer service personality with a great welcoming smile in my visit to MOM's for my first time ! I will definitely be returning customer now and in the future. Dave Underwood

I really appreciate the efforts by Mom's Organic Market to minimize waste, not packaging many items of produce and instead enabling us to use our own reusuable produce bags and containers. This applies even to spices. This is the only place I know where I can buy organic sugar in bulk without being packaged in thick plastic bags. Returning milk bottles is administratively much easier than at Whole Foods nearby, and one can even buy heavy cream in returnable glass bottles. In other stores organic and non-organic produce gets mixed up and I am constantly having to check labels for the leading "9" digit to make sure, but here I don't have to worry. The quality of produce is excellent. I am grateful this store is relatively close to where I live. I am sorry Naked Lunch is permanently closed.

I love the products here. Prices are high, but the quality is usually exceptional. Vegetables, herbs, and tubers are all fresh and high quality, while the fruits are hit-or-miss. Be careful of the snacks though. You'll become addicted!

This place is awesome! Great selection of really fresh produce, frozen foods, ready to eat meals, and everything else you can think of. Only a little expensive.

Not one person in this place was smiling or nice. None of my questions could be answered and I'm truly sorry I can't speak Spanish but i had a super hard time understanding some of the staff and they got really annoyed with me. I don't like to write negative reviews but management needs to get it together and train these folks better and maybe pay em more so they don't look like their being forced to work. Now i want to go cut myself after leaving that mess of angst, sighs, and suffering.

I love this shop. It's a wholesome food store. Slightly on the pricey side but the fresh food produce is great and the selection of other health foods and even supplements is amazing. Im sad to admit it but, I enjoy just walking through the aisles looking at new food stuffs and products. The selection of homemade home products always grab my attention. This is also a great place to top up your refillable water dispensers all while enjoying a free coffee. Regarding the water, they offer a choice of filtered or alakaline water dispensers, along with a great range of recycling bins.Parking is great too. Theres plenty of spaces round the back.

Contrary to what the sign says my mom doesn't actually run this store. but I still think it's wonderful and shop here regularly. Also the staff are friendly. And it's a good beer selection. Actually, it's a great beer selection. If you like beer and friendly people I guess this is a good spot to purchase all of your organic stuff. Feel like going into a place that has the lights on? This place has that. a great place to do your shopping if you don't like being attacked by wild dogs and bullet ants.

Shopping at MOM's Organic Market makes following even a complicated diet like the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) easy. The food is fresh, the aisles are well-organized, and it's always fun to browse the rotating cast of ice creams by the cash registers. MOM's also offers compost drop-off and other recycling, and carries hard-to-find foods like pastured chicken, venison, yak, dandelion greens, and a rainbow of organic sweet potatoes. Thank you for being our favorite place for groceries!

I love this place as much for the calm and friendly feel from the modest scale and helpful staff as for the quality of the tightly curated selection. Produce especially strong. Only complaint is that there are too many kinds of sweet potatoes and I can never remember which I want! It's not cheap, but prices are more than fair compared to comperable quality organic items in a traditional grocery store.

Although everything is outrageously overpriced, I did not factor that into my review since this is a known and expected fact of MOM's. I am rating the quality of their products which so far I have been satisfied with. Their staff is very efficient, kind and helpful. I am happy with both the quality of their products and services.Edit: They also do A LOT of diverse recycling. I bring my dead batteries here, it's very convenient. They also have a filtered water dispenser. I refill plastic gallon containers here often ($0.39/ga). Very satisfied!

Support Mom's! Their produce is seasonal and wonderful. They have so many shelves full of natural body care like lotions, essential oils, and makeup! When I got sick, I just bought their cold season pack of teas and felt so much better. Service is great, store is clean and welcoming. Glad to have it in my neighborhood ♥️ also wheelchair and stroller accessible

I never even knew this location existed until a month or so ago. Great selection of things. Love the fair trade bananas! Other produce is also good. Great egg selection at reasonable prices (especially on sale items). Everyone working there is very pleasant. Will start bringing my compostables there too.

I really like this store's produce section. I typically shop at Harris Teeter for most items, but the produce at Harris Teeter is often rotten or moldy, even in-store. Produce at MOM's is fresh, affordable, and high quality. They also have other unique items and the grind-yourself peanut butter is great!

I go to this Mom's probably 2 to 3 times a week now (I don't buy all my groceries at once). The employees are always happy to help. I'm most impressed with the bring your own contain section of this store. It really makes you think about how much plastic you throw away on packaging alone. This really helps to cut down on the waste. They have rice, quinoa, beans and even spices you can purchase using your own containers. The produce is always fresh and organized. The cashiers are really great at keeping the check out lines moving. Great spot over all. I definitely recommend spending a few moments to explore however if you've never been to a Mom's before.

I like ethnic foods and don't care much about organic vs non-organic, but I still go out of my way to shop here, for one simple reason: an excellent bulk goods selection! Oats, spelt, millet, amaranth, lentils, beans, teas, rices and spices, the collection is the best in the DC-Arlington area. Wheat and rye berries! The bulk goods are a great way to sample different whole foods you've never had before, like millet. You can get a few bulk beans and lentils at Mexican Fruits for less albeit non-organic, but Mom's seems to have reasonable prices given that it's organic, especially when supermarkets charge about as much for old non organic beans and such.Prices are similar to Yes Organics in DC, $2-3 a lb for beans and rice. $1 a lb for oat groats! Which are hard to find elsewhere. They allow you to bring your own containers I believe, but I did not do that yet.The store is very clean and well lit. The food is fresh and well kept (aside from one or two of the bean varieties that looked a bit aged). The only things I don't like - it has a maze like structure that forces you to walk around the whole store (like an Ikea). And they don't list the bulk goods they carry on the website, which would be a nice reference. They also have a raw milk cow share program.

More expensive than Whole Foods with less selection. If you’re looking for fresh produce, I have to give it to them, every fruit and vegetable is picture perfect. If you’re not vegan or vegetarian you may be disappointed in their meat and cheese selection, which is extremely limited. Staff is a mixed bag. I’ve run into some friendly employees, others who won’t look at your or even say anything as you checkout. Overall, I’d only go here for specialty items I couldn’t get at Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s.

First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised with the selection and atmosphere. Not only a good mix of selections but also a good balance between food, supplements and green living. Produce was fresh and the service was excellent. It is 20 degrees and windy. Anthony (without a jacket) helped my mother (in a wheelchair) and I out to the car and stood in the cold until we were completely settled. Exceeds expectations.

Small grocery store with high quality produce and lots of organic and vegetarian friendly options. The staff is always nice and helpful. I prefer MOM's over Whole Foods. This location also has pretty convenient parking.
