I went to the minute clinic, pharmacy, and the storefront yesterday and everyone was so kind, professional, and personable. Sadly this CVS does not have a restroom but I was advised about the ones in the nearby California Pizza Kitchen and Chevy’s. Yes, they are understaffed, but they are doing what they can with what they have so I’m very thankful for that! Also you can’t beat the nearby metro station, very convenient!

I've had good experiences at this CVS, with the Minute Clinic being the exception. I've seen the same nurse twice when I've come in for various health issues. Both times, she gave me a diagnosis that ended up being incorrect which forced me to seek additional medical assistance and put me in worse health than when I came in. I won't be back to the Minute Clinic again.

Prescription Drop off: poor service and a complete waste of my time, which when you are sick is the last thing you want. I was asked to wait for a call that never happened, and when I returned to the store after 1 hour they had completely forgotten about the order and within minutes I was told that in fact they didn’t have any stock left.

I don't normally leave reviews, and having worked in customer service for many years, I really know how hard these jobs can be. That being said, my experience at this pharmacy has genuinely been the worst experience I've had with a pharmacy to date. I have a medication that I take that requires me to pick it up during a certain time frame. For the entirety of that time frame, I was fighting to get this prescription, and a lot of that fighting was due to negligence and lack of professionalism on the part of the pharmacist at this CVS.The pharmacist made me feel like I was being extremely rude, implying that I had been neglectful on my end (which I had not been) and just brushing me off entirely in some ways. From the beginning, I tried very hard to be as kind and understanding as possible, while still making sure that I got my necessary medication. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy towards customers was frankly astonishing. I would go quite literally anywhere but here, especially if you need to get your medication quickly.

Refused to fill medication, prescribed by a licensed veterinarian despite this being a refill of a medication they've had no trouble filling in the past.Pharmacy manager is incredibly rude and unable to actually explain corporate policies. Corporate service representatives are also unable to explain policies. If you are willing to spend 30 minutes on the phone you finally get to talk to "Joe, one of our corporate pharmacists" who will then read you the policy but be unable to explain the rationale for it. Unlikely that he is actually a pharmacist.Pet owners, if you want to make sure your pets can actually get the medicine prescribed by their doctor I would encourage you to go anywhere else.

There’s a glitch in the system where CVS sends a review but I don’t go to the Arlington VA location as I’m not a Virginia resident.. they need to fix the glitch they have in their system

The associate was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. When I walked in I asked home where to find ibuprofen and he directed him to exactly where the item was. And when I was ready to check out he directed me to the self check out register instead of waiting in line, asked me if I found everything I wanted easily, and then offered to help ring my shopping there. After he thanked me for shopping at CVS.

Minute Clinic Nurse Practitioner was courteous and professional, but less helpful than she should have been in various ways. I was hoping to send a prescription to a closer pharmacy but did not know the address. She said she would help me find it and pulled out her phone, supposedly for that purpose, instead texting while I searched and data did not load. She was not willing to use the computer in front of her to help me find the address for the more convenient CVS. She sent the $75 version of the prescription to the pharmacy instead of the $12 version, so I was put in a position of self-advocating and waiting even longer for my medication. Thankfully I am knowledgeable enough to know that pink eye drops do not have to cost $75, and confident enough to advocate for myself, otherwise I would have wasted quite a bit of money. She told me the wrong time for when the pharmacy opened, so I had to wait even longer for my prescription and walk an additional 30 minutes there and back instead of being able to get my medication quickly after my appointment. I was disappointed with the service she provided. The choices that she made caused a stressful day to be more difficult instead of assisting me with thoughtfulness and intentionality. I am glad that this is not my home CVS. Additionally (not the NP’s fault) the text I received telling me that my prescription was ready told me that it was in North Carolina. That was a confusing experience and a tech glitch that needs to be fixed. The pharmacist herself, however, was very helpful and patient, and the CVS staff were courteous and professional.

I had numerous problems with the pharmacy:1) I had 3 prescriptions, 1 of which was not submitted to my insurance correctly and therefore not filled.2) The pharmacist was unintelligible as to what the issue was. I realize that English is not everybody's first language, and that's fine, but in this case, neither my daughter nor myself could understand what the pharmacist was saying, despite asking him to repeat things over and over. I know it wasn't just me because my daughter had no idea what he was saying either. I had to call back the next day in order to talk with a different pharmacist just to find out what the actual problem was.3) When I called back, the pharmacist who answered (a different person) was extremely rude over the phone. She tried to deny all responsibility for mistakes, and then denied that any of her staff had communication issues. (That fact that I had to call back was pretty clear evidence that there were communication issues!)Once again, I don't have issues with people speaking English with accents. That's fine. And I can usually understand people who speak English as a second language. That's fine too. But when you work in a health care field, you need to be intelligible to your customers. Can you imagine showing up to a doctor's appointment, only to find out that you can't understand a word your doctor is saying? How would that be acceptable?

tried to get them to transfer my prescription to a different cvs. they said i needed to contact the new cvs and have them do it. was unable to get through to the pharmacy at the new cvs so i tried using the website. website said transfer was successful. later that day the new cvs told me that the transfer had not competed because this cvs still had its status as "processing". So this CVS dropped the ball and as a result i missed a dose of my medication and experienced unpleasant withdrawal effects for 24 hrs. very poorly handled. the other CVS was very helpful however and sorted things out

Why are there only 3 people working at the pharmacy here? And one of them doesn’t do anything. Looks like they can only handle 5 customers an hour. What a horrible experience. Spent 1.5 hours here to and didn’t even get what I needed.

Made an appointment for blood test a week ago, got in and waited for 30 mins to be told the blood test machine has not been working for over a week. The lady was rude and unapologetic also.

A big thank you to Kaleb in Pharmacy. I have a needle phobia and he worked with me and had me take my time so that I could get my shot. Which is very hard for me. Some days I get to worked up and have to try again the next day. Kaleb saw me both days and was patient and kind. I will be going back to see him again when I need any kind of shot.

The Pharmacy at this location is beyond inefficient. I had a prescription that I dropped off a week ago and still have not had it filled. The Pharmacy rudely explained that my Dr. needs to contact my insurance. Why they did but cover this to my Dr. I do not know? A week later, no prescription or path forward. The Pharmacy told me @not to be rude but.. that’s rude enough!! Please choose another Pharmacy that cares!

Bad experience with the S. Hayes (Pentagon Center) store and their handling of the Care Pass program for which customers are charged $5 every month in return for perks that include a 20% discount on all CVS products. At midday today i went to buy dry batteries. I picked a pack of AAA CVS batteries and a pack of V9 CVS batteries. At cashier, 1st cashier didn't apply the 20% Care Pass discount. When I inquired, 2nd cashier said the AAA was on sale (buy one get 2nd 50% off) so Care Pass discount would apply only to the V9 pack. When i pointed out that there was no sign on the shelf that there was any kind of promotion on batteries, another CVS employee passing by just dismissed it saying " yeah yeah we only started the promotion today". I snapped a photo at 12:29pm, at what point in time were they planning to advise customers that they won't be getting their membership benefits ?!!.Better Transparency and Timing will go a long way with customers.

The lady at the cash counter was impolite and wasn't competent.- She said international passport isn't a valid ID to buy liquor.- Buy 1 get 1 offer was there for some chocolates, that didn't work either (I saw once I came back to hotel).- Laid back casher.

DO NOT COME HERE! I scheduled an appointment and she was running behind but yet let a man CUT in line even though his appointment was after mine. I can in for a TB test, nothing long about it at all. Why have people schedule appointments if you plan on picking and choosing who’s next!

Ugh very rude staff here too. Idk what’s about Pentagon Center but so many rude staff all around. Regardless of the store (Best Buy, Costco, CVS they’re all so rude and speak over me when I ask questions or respond to theirs. Like if you know the answer why ask me something in the first place???)

Larger than it looks. Kind of long. Had everything I needed. Only thing people may not like was, from what I can tell, totally, 100% self-check out. At least in the front. May be wrong.

The staff are always very helpful and kind! Today one employee helped me find a product I couldnt find so I could make it to work on time, and another patiently helped me fix issues with the self-checkout. Thank you both! :)
