It was my first time there had to deliver a load of tropical plants for Costa Nursery I always go behind the store to get to garden center omg it was tight they had the nerve to leave to cardboard pallets on the corner also have containers to so drivers please be careful when delivering plants also had to wait for a forklift driver guess Walmart has a shortage of lift drivers.

I’ve always heard that the customer is always right well..: Walmart is awful .Nice of the employees to be so rude to the customers. We saw a sale price and a lot of flooring under the 5$ clearance. Well when we got to the register she tells us that they arent and that they are not the same , well the UPC WAS DIFFERENT how’s that our fault that it was put in that 5$ section …. ? And she tells us that she’s been back there this morning, so she calls us liars and then proceeds to tell us off about how we’re wrong. Great job Walmart !!

The people, from cashiers, food service deli, and pharmacy are all very good and helpful...polite,efficient, and very courteous..my only negative remark would be the self check out. I'm in my 70's and will NEVER use it... the attendants don't help. Bag or carry. Or nothing but hang on their phones and laugh and talk to other attendants... this on my estimation is a total waste of company money.. not helpful but ruins the whole shopping experience... you get more help from the personal shoppers than the self checkout people. Sorry you wanted to know.

The inside has been remodeled. They changed everything around which has made it hard to find things. Generally friendly workers just not in the deli. Or if it's later in the evening and they are putting out stock.

Walmart grocery prices have gone up again.I see why people getting minimum wage have trou le getting fchildren. Health insurance and medicines and paying for oil changes and insurance on their cars plus other needful items, especially clothes for their children.At Walmart today on 11/30/23. I needed two flower pots and a small bag of potting soil among some other things. An employee who works in Gardening said they did have any more.Do they think it's because it is winter that no one has any house plants to repot or grow a flower inside? The other things on my list I found. Gee whiz!

I love walmart and I was excited when it managed to come to Appomattox...But I find not a whole lot of choices here.. although, there's still plenty to shop for, there's areas that could use more improvement. The arts and crafts area, for example, needs help. Nobody wants to travel 45 minutes to lynchburg for something as small as apple barrel paint. Not to mention, Paint in the hardware section...lol I stopped asking when the paint machine was going to get fixed.. been a few years... maybe I'll call tomorrow just to see....

There are a lot of items that are out of stock. But that is through no fault of the actual employees. The employees are some of the nicest people that I have ever met! They do thier best to keep the store clean and stocked with the product that does come in , but they are so helpful!

The Appo Walmart is usually a hit or a miss...unfortunately a lot of times they don't have a bunch of different products but sometimes they do come through with things we need. Last few times we've been there & were checking out up front & all the sudden the different cashiers decided it was completely professional to start yelling out things to each other from their different registers including the CSM who was on duty at the time. It started out about the dustpan not being where it was supposed to be & if people can't bother to put things back where they belong that they shouldn't use them in the first place. Then the conversation switched to how they were all ready to be off work...adding in there more than a few things that they wanted to whine/complain about. And yes there were multiple lines of people just trying to check out but of course the process was much slower because the cashiers weren't really paying 100% attention to their current customers. This same sort of situation has happened about 3 out of 5 of our last shopping trips & it's absolutely ridiculous & completely unprofessional.

The smallest Walmart I've been in but it doesn't mean it lacks in service. For the most part this store is super friendly and much easier to shop at. I actually love going in this store. I just wish they carried a little more product.

I have no complaints. Clean store, clean restrooms, no waiting in line at checkout. The shelves are starting to look some bare. Three of the five items I went to shop for was out of stock. UPDATE: Today three weeks later and the shelves are fully stocked with everything.UPDATE CHRISTMAS: Most shelves empty. No eggs, no diet tea, no Apple Cidar, no large plastic containers of Country Gravy only two containers of butter, no cases of cokes just to name a few. Couldn't get half of what I went inside to purchase. Google wouldn't allow me to change my five stars, only to edit my write up. UPDATE: August 2023 only thing I have is their were only 3 cashiers on duty with long lines at 5:15 P.M. My ice cream had melted before I got home.
