We drive all the way from Washington dc and love that we found this amazing place. Sam did an amazing job on our pekingese. We struggled to find a good spot and now we are confident that this is the location for us. I love the open air grooming. Nothing is behind doors and you can see all the happy pups when you walk in. They treated our boys like precious little babies and we love how they did a perfect, proper grooming.

Our dogs and parents dogs have going here for years now and we wouldn’t switch for anything. All of the staff is super helpful and kind. Samantha does an amazing job for our babies, and they’re always so excited to see her when we drop them off. Definitely recommend for those looking for skilled, dog loving groomers.

I came to Pawtiques on a referral from a friend after I had a bad experience at a salon in Arlington. Pawtiques is very quality and professional with a reasonable price. From start to finish I was impressed with the business. I called and got a same-day appointment. When I arrived, the man who greeted me was friendly and professional. He actually listened to what I wanted and asked follow-up questions to be sure we were on the same page. My miniature Australian shepherd was finished after 3 hours (typical time for grooming this dog). I was very pleased with the results. Paula groomed Theo exactly how I wanted/imagined. I asked for a bath, nail trim, sanitary trim, I wanted his paws, feathers (hair on back of legs), and ears trimmed, and teeth brushed. All of the above was done well and he smells amazing! Theo was in good spirits both upon drop off and pick up. I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

The ladies that run the store clearly love dogs and know how to properly care for them. They were able to clean out crazy matted hair from behind our dog’s ears, and her paws/nails were nicely trimmed as well.

I’ve been getting my dog groomed at Pawtiques for two years now, and they are absolutely fantastic. My dog is really scared of getting groomed and they are so patient and great with him. Mira is super personable every time I see her. Mira and Tiffany have both groomed him, and he comes out with a great cut each time. I moved from VA to MD a year ago and I still go out of my way to come here - seriously they are awesome!!

Pawtiques does a wonderful job and my girl always looks amazing. Their prices are reasonable and the grooming is pretty quick so your dog isn't there for too many hours. After trying a handful of other places first, Pawtiques is the only place I've felt comfortable returning to!

I’ve been taking my havachon to Pawtiques for a year now and am happy every time I see my pup! They do a great job and my dog is never shaved or looks ratty. He looks fluffy but clean. It’s hard to find a good bichon-mix groomer in these parts and Mira + her team are top notch. I’ve been happy with every groomer I’ve had.

Terrible experience, it was my cat's first time being groomed there and naturally he was very scared. Asian woman working there named Mirra quit halfway through the job because she said she had other customers who were waiting that were easier. This is how she gave our cat back to us! He's so ashamed of how he looks he won't even come near us! Thank you Mirra, pretty sure all these 5-star reviews MUST be real!

Very professional and quality business. I have two dogs, one 11 year old Morkie who has hip pain and is all around anxious and fragile. I also have a 2 year old very timid cavalier mix pup. I am nervous about the quality of care and attention they receive during grooming.They just got groomed last week at this location. The store was extremely covid safe. Mask 100%, at door drop off, so no inside customers. I felt very safe health wise with their protocols.Additionally, the groomer Naomi I think is her name, was extremely gentle and caring for my pups. I could immediately tell by my dogs behavior at pick up that they felt comfortable and calm. The grooming was fantastic, with not a single issue.I am very happy with the service at Pawtiques. I’m very picky and love my dogs like family. I don’t give positive reviews unless they 100% deserve it. I feel this location does!

Love, love, love the treatment my cavapoo receives from Pawtiques! Ms. Noemi is the best with my fur baby!! We commute from Maryland and the owner, Mina, is so understanding the times we have been late. Samantha was a wonderful groomer to both my pups (maltipoo and morkie)! All of the groomers there have been wonderful and super pleasant to talk to. Mira the owner is very sweet and Tiffany one of the other groomers is so nice and welcoming as well.My dog Teddy (morkie) is especially difficult to work with but they were all extremely patient with him and with my other dog Sugar. I love the nice little holiday themed bows/bandanas they provide after each session as well! The pictures were from their last grooming session (around Valentine's Day)!

Paula does a great job with chewy who can be a spaz at the groomers. She’s the only one who has been able to handle chewy, and exceeds our expectation. She is wonderful in getting delicate areas (eyes, etc .) and trimming the nails.

Samantha did a great job grooming my maltipoo, Pizza! She actually took the time to listen to what I wanted in her cut and delivered. My dog is a very nervous and shy girl and needs things to be taken slowly. She usually is a bundle of anxiety when I pick her up from the groomers, but today when I picked her up, she was very calm! I’m sure they did a great job handling her and thus I’ll be going regularly.

They are great with people and our doggies! Mira is fantastic! She talks to you and gives honest opinions. Definitely need to schedule in advance as they are booked for up to 3-4 weeks. May be a little more expensive than other places but so worth it. Will continue be a client. Thank you all.

Called to schedule an appointment for a first grooming for my 6 month old Goldendoodle. I was so surprised that they had an opening the same day, so I took it. The entire staff were so nice and our groomer was very patient with us showing her pictures and telling her what we wanted. Our puppy looks so cute. We will definitely go back for his next grooming 🐶

Mira and her staff are the best! I adopted a Great Pyrenees this summer and have been taking him to Pawtiques monthly to manage his massive white coat! Mira and her staff are great with my Pyr, who isn’t comfortable in new places or around new dogs. He has grown to trust her staff and you can tell they really care about my boy! Pawtiques has great prices, service and the staff really goes out of their way for my big boy! Love them!

I’ve been to Pawtiques two times and after the last time I won’t come back.The first time I went, I believe the owner was at the desk but she didn’t acknowledge me when I came in. I just had to stand there awkwardly and then she asked who I was here for. No “hello, how are you” nothing. Just straight to what she needed. I brushed it off thinking maybe she was just busy. I will say the person who groomed my pups did a great job. I made my next appt and was told I could select what service I needed when I came in.Appointment time rolls around and again, the same non-welcome I received the first time, straight to asking me who I was here for. The groomer came to take my pups and asked how I wanted them cut. Their hair hadn’t grown much since the last appt so I said I don’t think they need a cut, just a bath. And someone asked just a bath? And I said well yeah doesn’t that include a nail trim, ear cleaning, etc? In annoyance, the owner says we have them booked for a full grooming. And I said well I don’t think they need a full cut. The groomer suggested a facial trim and just touching them up and I agreed.I came back to pick them up and same rude owner rings me up and I asked for the price breakdown. They were charging my dogs at the 26+ lbs price and I said last time I was charged at the 25 lbs and below rate and the owner checked in the system and said they were charged as medium and they’re being charged as medium now and went back and forth with me over small/medium and medium. Whatever inconsistency they have with their terms, I just said it was at the 25 lbs rate not at 26+lbs rate. And she says this is what the groomer has told me so we can go back to the groomer and I said but I was previously charged at a different rate and again in a rude/annoyed manner the owner goes well then I can charge you that but I’m going to have to charge you $5 extra each.At this point I was over her being argumentative and overall rude so I said whatever just charge what you were originally going to charge me bc I was done and decided I wouldn’t be back for any more rude and unpleasant encounters. She charged me whatever it was ($20 more than what I had expected it to be), I tipped, and left with my pups.Over the $20 that the owner wanted to argue over she lost an ongoing customer. I will say her groomers/staff do a great job, but having to encounter her and have an unpleasant/rude experience isn’t worth it to me. I’ll go elsewhere.

Mira loves my pup Paddington, and Paddington loves her too! I go to Pawtiques from MD because I just couldn’t find anyone else I could trust to make Paddingtons experience as good as possible!
