My dog Furbs just really angrily hates getting groomed, and for the sake of both his and his groomers' sanity, we typically request a shave with the least fussy styling. It can be hard to find a compatible groomer who won't feel like they've done battled him through the session. So I was dreading taking him to a new groomer when we moved to this area.The fact that Celma kept him looking cute *and* got his ears cleaned and nails cut, is just a bit of a small miracle to me... as is his cuddling with her afterward. He looks (and smells) like a happy little guy now. What a relief. Everyone I've talked to at Annandale Pet Spa have been super friendly as well, and the other dogs' styles that I've seen there look super cute! I'm so relieved to have found them, and will be going back when the time comes around again.

My 12 year old Persian was pretty badly matted.we couldn’t find a groomer in Maryland so went to Annandale pet spa. I dropped her off at 9 am and had her back at 12pm. She got a lions cut but still kept some length to her body and she is so much happier! Kate did a great job and my kitty was not stressed at all after the visit. It was quick and easy. Very pleased

Excellent service and friendly staff. Got my Westie mix groomed here and I couldn't be happier. We haven't had a grooming like this since we left the Asian groomers in Hawaii! Top notch and definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend.

First time taking my 12 year old Westie mix to Annandale Pet Spa. I got an appointment with Anna the same day I called. I showed her a picture of the cut that I wanted and she did much better. My dog got out like a sparkly white stuffed animal with his Easter bandana. I am so happy to find this place since I had so many bad experiences were they will not even try to do a good cut and just shave him. When we dropped him and pick him up we also saw Dominique doing a great job. Every dog gets out looking like a show dog. Thanks for doing your best !

I have a 4 month old standard poodle that was in desperate need of his first grooming. I had a very particular look in mind and Annandale pet spa delivered. Everyone I interacted with was so friendly and attentive. The grooming was faster than I expected and the price was well worth the results. My puppy seemed very happy and well taken care of when I picked him up. They even sent him home with a cute matching bandanna. I would recommend to any standard poodle or puppy owners. Including before and after pics below.

I highly recommend Annandale Pet Spa! We got our girl a little over a month ago. I was a little nervous taking her to the groomer for the first time because she can be apprehensive around new people. Rachel did an amazing job - Freya seemed totally comfortable when I picked her up and she looks gorgeous! Absolutely will be returning for her next grooming!

Our groomer of 10+ years, Rachel, recently moved to Annandale Pet Spa and did an amazing job with our new standard poodle puppy. Our pup is still learning how to be well behaved for the groomer and Rachel made it look easy - especially since poodles have such specific grooming needs! Rachel groomed our toy poodle for 10 years, even as he became an elderly grumpy little man, with kindness and patience. I couldn’t recommend her more for your pup!

It feels risky leaving your best pet companion with someone else for an extended period of time. These folks gives their clients (pets) as much love and care as they would receive at home. In addition to that, they come home looking terrific and HAPPY. I could not be more pleased with this place. Joaquin listens to my concerns, gives my dog an A+ experience and puts this nervous dog parent at ease.

I have a 6 year old shetland sheepdog that I've been bringing to Annandale Pet Spa since she was a puppy. Paul and the team provide consistent great service and my girl comes out beautiful every time!! Plus they have good liver treats, according to her.

I’ve used Annandale Pet Spa for about 15 years. I take my dogs every three months for a bath, cut and nail trim. My current dog knows what I mean by asking if she wants to “go to the Spa”. She’ll run to the door and wait. The owner knows all the parents and their pets and keeps a file on each. I always ask for Sisi, she is wonderful with my dog, kind and loving. I definitely recommend the professionals at the Spa.

This was my first experience at a groomer for my cat… and it was Absolutely fantastic! I have a 22 year old cat who had matted fur and needed his long/ingrown toenails cut. Another place quoted me up to $500 and said he needed to be put under and blood work done in order to do his grooming. I decided to call this place and they did it for much much cheaper… cut wash and dry for my old man. No problems, no sedation, no drama. Just a nice kitty grooming session and he looks AMAZING! He is like a whole new cat. He needed this so bad and they exceeded my expectations. Definitely didn’t hurt that they happened had some kittens around for me to visit as well! 😂❤️ Fantastic office will def be coming to them for my kitty grooming needs in the future. 10/10!! Thank you SO much!!PS. I wanted to addDon’t listen to anyone complaining about the perfumeOn their pet… I am addicted to smelling my cat right now he smells AMAZING!!!

I have a 6 years old longhair cat who is afraid of water and fights back when I attempted that on him. So I decided to let the professional handle it, and they did an awesome job. They called me in the middle of the process to let me know he was still a bit nervous so they decided to give cat the time he needs, very caring and patient, and continued when my cat finally calmed down. It took them so much extra effort. When I went back picking up my cat, he was sitting nicely on her shoulder, calm and clean, love that. My cat likes her, even she just bathed him lol I will definitely return to this place and highly recommend them to my friends

Finding a good groomer for my anxious German Shepherd can be really hard. I have yet to find anyone who is confident with her and makes her relax.Until I came here. I explained to them (as I always do) that she's an anxious dog and needs a confident hand. The groomer told me that she used to work with Dobermans and was very confident around big dogs. While I was sure she had those skills, the true test came when she took my dog back.And I'll be, she was right. My dog went with her willingly because she was confident and led my dog like a true professional. It seriously warmed my heart to know that my fur baby was in good hands.When I picked her up, she looked great. My dog had no problems with the staff and they said they would be happy to have her back. We are looking forward to bringing her again and highly recommend this groomer! Very professional and clearly passionate about animals.

Went in for a full-grooming session with a haircut included. Asked for a puppy cut/medium length for my Mini Aussie and the groomer, Sisi (or Cici?), fully shaved my double-coated dog. Absolutely ridiculous to think that a groomer was so unknowlegable about double-coated dogs and I was just shocked that I couldn't even complain at the store.Giving 2/5 stars because the rest of the grooming session was good. However, do not get haircuts for your Aussie from her.

I have a very anxious rescue puppy and I cannot believe how great Rachel did with her! I was nervous because our puppy had some past issues with groomers but Rachel took her time getting to know my dog’s specific needs and asked many question about what my dog would be comfortable with. The grooming was fantastic and I’m so relieved to find someone I trust. Cannot recommend them enough!

Paul Belvin , owner & groomer at Annandale Pet Spa has been grooming my dogs ( past and present) for over 45 + years . My first pair were a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier & a Bichon Frise , I could not find a groomer who knew how to groom a Wheaten Terrier properly , until I met Paul . Due to his experience grooming “ show dogs “ he knew exactly how to groom a Wheaten ! He also had my Bichon looking gorgeous…. I am now on my “ 3rd “ pair of Miniature Schnauzers , again , Paul knows the “ proper “ way to groom a Miniature Schnauzer. I recently had foot surgery and cannot drive , I was desperate for my dogs to at least get a bath , so I called Paul to get a referral for a mobile grooming service, He said absolutely not, I will send someone to pick them up and bring them back after their grooming, who does that in today’s world of mediocre customer service ? It’s pretty obvious I am very picky , however, Paul has been consistent throughout these last 45+ years …. I very impressed with the overall experience I’ve had with Annandale Pet Spa and highly recommend them

As a new puppy parent I was nervous to take my 6 month old Schnauzer anywhere for his first professional grooming. After finding some pictures of this place’s work on Schnauzers I felt comfortable taking him here. I am now beyond happy and satisfied with the experience both for me and my pup. Friendly, caring, and professional all around. Special thanks to Joaquin who took care of my baby. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning for regular service!

I wouldn't trust my precious 4-legged child to anyone else besides these fantastic people at Annandale Pet Spa! I absolutely adore Paul, Cindy Lou, and Joaquin - because they just give my little guy the best care while he's there getting his regular "Spa Day" each month! Don't be discouraged if you can't always get the appointment you want, there's a reason why they're OFTEN fully booked! Excellent service! We have always taken our dogs to get groomed by Joaquin after our friends recommended him, and he has been so wonderful with our two Shih Tzu pups. We are already dreading having to move out of the area as I am nervous about finding another quality groomer that is as kind and skillful with our pups as him!

I called Annandale Pet Spa pretty last minute, they were able to get my cat in within two days of calling. I felt at ease as soon as I got there and knew they'd take good care of my kitty. They were able to remove mats without shaving her completely or doing any painful dematting. She looks, smells and feels great! I will definitely be back! Also, very affordable!

Literally the best place I have been for my cat, I been searching for a place that can take my cats knots out and I found this place, once I got there the owner was so polite and reassuring, she let me Know what would happen and went above and beyond, when I got my kitty back he felt so soft, smelled great, and had 0 cuts. Even after she showed me how to properly brush my cat too, 10/10 best experience and will definitely be going here from now on!

Stay away from here! My cat had a uti last week. I had to take him to the emergency vet and although now better, he desperately needed to be cleaned up. Everywhere was about a months out but this place. My cat has NEVER had any issues and has been going to groomers since he was a baby. When I came to get him they talked about how “not nice” he was especially when they “tossed him on his back”. THEN they charged me $20 extra because “someone else had to help” groom a cat. If you were an animal, recently sick and in a new place, you’d be upset to get “tossed on your back” like an object. Super disappointed at the treatment of animals, how they talked about him to me and to their fellow staff, and charging me more for them doing their jobs. It was clearly a paycheck to them. No love for my poor cat at all. I will not be going back, and recommend you don’t go here. Only getting two stars because the lady on the phone was great and they did a great job with the style
