It's all the little items you need instead of going to the big supermarkets. Fast service you don't have to stay online long at check out. the price is more than a dollar I don't know why they call it Dollar General.

It's a great place to buy candy and snacks. The store clerk was nice and respectful. The only negative was that the power went out and slowed my checkout. Other than that, I'd go there again.

Store is way to small for amount of stock coming in isles always have large carts in them Employees are really nice and try and be as helpful as possible but freight everywhere building 25 years old out grown the space.

Prices are very fair, Dollar General versions are usually exactly like the compared brand. Every time I have been here, the service was great. Friendly employees that put in effort to make you happy. No complaints!

Cashier not very pleasant, but everyone has an off day, I guess. Prices are great and the store was clean and relatively neat an organized. I know retail stores of this kind are extremely difficult to keep neat.

As most DGs are, its messy with lots of stuff in the aisles and I prefer to shop locally owned stores first but in a pinch DG is there. Staff is friendlier than most I've been in and will help you. They are the reason it's getting as good a rating as I'm giving.

Download the app, clip the digital coupons and save a ton of money! DG is also a good place to go when you need to just run in and pick up 1 or 2 items and dont want to go to one of the super stores. Dollar General is like your local corner store but with much better prices!

This Dollar General was a creepy mess.Highly unorganized. Stuff everywhere.The lady who waited on us was bizarre and counted change back like you gave her $1000.My total was $20. And she said that will be $200. I watched her do this for like 5 customers.

The store always have unopen stock on floor not enough help most are friendly but alot of change in there employees.

I dropped my money in the parking lot and the gentleman that works there found it. When I went back and asked about it, he asked me how much it was. When I asked my daughter how much she gave me, I told him and he gave it back to me. I don't know many people that would do that, so I greatly appreciate it.

I love this place I can find almost anything I'm looking for and most of the time for a lot less than you can any where else and great product also and if I can't find the Employees here are very good at helping you out and are very friendly .

Small and unkept store. Asiles always cluttered whuch making shopping almost impossible. Haven't really been back in there since. Family Dollar opened eariler this year.

Store is dirty & aisles are filled with pallets of goods instead of being on the shelves. Pallets block the shelves so you can't see the products.

This store is always always a piled up mess and basically an obstacle course. I've never been in it where the aisles, most all of them, wasnt blocked up with something.

Junky, disorganized, narrow cluttered isles, no ac, only one employee in the store. I have this to be true of all Dollar General stores.

Horrible staff need real training on how to help people one customer in front of me walked out because of a problem and I started too only because I need that product I had I do not recomend Amherst dollar general and this is not the first time my experience been bad.
