The have no animal tags. No way to engrave them if they did. Prices are ridiculous. They only have one brand of wet kitten food and naturally it's tiny Purina cans in a 12 pack box. Over a dollar per can. Completely ridiculous. I definitely do not recommend this business. Definitely not in Altavista.

Even though I was happy to find a wonderful deal on a large pack of detailing microfiber towels, I was greatly offended by the staff when I had forgotten my wallet in my truck. I handed my items to a friend with me and ran out to grab my wallet. While I was outside my friend overheard the staff assuming I had stolen my items and make very rude comments about me. Surprised when my friend stepped up and informed them that she had my items and that I would be right back with my wallet, they were overly helpful when I came back in to pay. Fortunately for the staff my friend waited to inform me until we had already left or I would have not purchased the items and informed the supervisor of the actions and comments of their staff which has cost the company a loyal customer. It only goes to show that you can't judge a person based on your assumptions of an individual or their appearance.

Bad experience ordering online. Tsc does not have a number on there website to call about an order. Had to call 2 different tsc stores. First store was clueless. Second store had the number. Very frustrating....

I LOVE this place. (Take your pet with you) They have clothes, boots, shoes, hats, and anything you need for your dog, cat, chicken, duck, horse, or cow, (I know there's more) tools and things to store them in. Parts for anything you might need. And the people are friendly and so helpful... GO EXPLORE

Not a great place to work if you're poor and disabled without any "proof" (aka written documentation other than your own word about your struggles) Even though I made them aware of my struggles before they hired me. Was never asked for any proof and the accommodation was just 3 hrs on register for everybody that way we all did the same work. I made it clear I could not handle being on register.I have filed complaints and not received even an apology for being told I was faking or being harassed in facebook by one of the currently employeed workers there that I didn't do enough to get help.Got my hours cut as punishment for doing poorly on register and was told to put my problems aside as the manager was "too competitive". Then was compared to other employees who got better numbers. I stated to put them on instead as I can't handle register. The manager refused and continued to put me on register. At that point it was not my fault. I was transparent about my issues. If accommodating me was going to be a problem I should have been told and not hired.Not to mention the blatant ableism by the other employees. I was told my problems were not enough and others had it worse. Rumors flew that I was making it up. After I said "walking away from the register when overwhelmed isn't easy." I was told by part of the upper management that it was. (I was crying during this encounter) I never reported it as I don't like starting trouble but there is just too much going on here to continue to let it slide.I don't recommend supporting a store that allows this to occur. Shame on the management for thinking it is okay to treat people this way

It’s not a bad farm store. Great selection for dog food. Tools are not as prevalent here as other tractor supplies I’ve been to.

Employee was visibly overwhelmed and close to tears but left on register with no help in sight. They were very clearly being overworked. Not shopping again if they don't care enough for their staff to make sure they are getting adequate breaks and help so they can work without having a breakdown.

Nice selection of items, from boots & pants to chicken coops, knives & tools. Lots of items at reasonable prices, make sure to browse so you know if they carry items that u can use. Will visit again soon!

Happy to have farm feed and supply stores closer by! Employees are friendly and willing to please and will investigate promptly if it's brought to their attention that a certain mainstay inventory isn't in stock as it should be and will readily put it on order. Ordering is a lengthy wait, but beyond control, so they get an A for effort!

Some of the best customer service we have experienced here in Virginia. We went after a huge snow storm and they were open going strong. They fill propane tanks and have almost anything you need for going out doors. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to shop here.

This particular location seemed to have fewer items than I'm accustomed to from other locations. But, this could be because of the Corona effects with shipping. Regardless, the staff was extremely helpful and the store was well maintained.

Have called this store twice and been there twice. The employees have no idea what they're selling or where to locate it. Was there for 20 minutes the last time and was never asked if I needed help. WILL NOT GO BACK. However, Bedford store is very good.
