The only stores I shop there are Food Lion &Tractor Supply on the rare occasion China Wok. Sadly Roses closed, I didn't shop there often but when I did it was extremely convenient and the sales people were friendly.

This is a quiet little spot of altavista. Aside from tractor supply and food lion, there isn't a whole lot of traffic going in and out of the spot. The main Street about the Vista has a typical hustle and bustle has any small time would, but this little spot off to the side is a nice little peaceful spot take a deep breath.

Unfortunately this shopping center is pretty much dying out. The few stores they do have are nice enough, it's seldom very busy.It's too bad the small stores have a hard time making it today

They have name brand clothes and purses and other things at a whole lot better price I just wish they had a bigger toddler section and teen boy section

I go to Food Lion and China Wok. And the DMV when it's open and Tractor Supply 🚜. While these 4 businesses are fine and easy to get in and out from, the actual shopping center itself is declining in its esthetics and the condition. I think you would have more business in this shopping center if the up-keep was better with the building and the parking lots. Just my 2 cents.

I guess the best thing you could say is it provides an option so people don’t have to drive to lynchburg or Danville.

I like the town of Altavista all together. However, the shopping center doesn't have much "shopping" to do. Especially since Peebles has closed down. Still a nice place though.

This Peebles is now closed for good.Burke's Outlet replaced Peebles and is opening soon or is open for business. I am excited about having a new outlet in our community.

Enjoy the convenient in-town shopping with a variety of stores; grocery, Dept store, Chinese restaurant, DMV, and farm equipment store. Covers most of our needs. There are a few vacancies I would like to see filled.
