The service was great. I had pinto beans & cornbread..full of flavor and a BIG serving of cornbread..hubby had a chicken sandwich so good! Daughter ordered the BBQ nachos.. we all were able to take a taste of that.Dessert was to die for!Hershey’s ice cream is always a delightful treat. And the Cream cheese delight was light and fluffy and was a great side to the coffee ice cream. Cup of coffee was FRESH and hot!It was a family atmosphere that is noticeably formed here. A welcomed retreat to the end of a work day!! Come and try them out! You won’t be let down!

Ice cream parlor. Also sell pies and cookies. Ample parking. Clean restrooms. They serve Hershey's ice cream. Outside seating available. Now serving sandwiches and soups daily. I had chicken and dumplings, bbq sandwich with slaw and sweet tea. Delicious!!!

Not only did they serve up some delicious ice cream (I had a 2 scoop sundae), but they brought our puppy some 'pup cup' frozen bones that she had made that were dog friendly! Loved that! Oh, and yes, the ice cream hit the spot!

I remember going to the grand opening of this shoppe and taking my crew. Boy, has it grown and how time has flown. They now offer homemade lunch items, including BBQ and foot long hotdogs, plus a variety of homemade salads, baked goods and desserts like banana pudding! The ice cream selection is extensive, double since our very first visit. There's even a large area to dine outside and play corn hole! A family owned and operated jewel in our small town. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful food! It's not just ice cream. I also have a tomato allergy & they were nice enough to check their pulled pork. It doesn't have tomatoes unless you add the sauce. Footlong hotdogs, homemade chicken salad, & honemade chicken & dumplings. I have not yet had anything there that wasn't good. Also their selection of ice cream is huge. I love the brownie sundae. The ladies in there are so nice. I highly recommend this place.

Very friendly staff allowed me to sample a lot of their Hershey's hand scooped ice cream. One scoop is plenty for most people. Those in our group with two scoops couldn't finish it, including one mom with a toddler. Prices were very fair. We didn't get real food but those prices were fair as well. We'll return for food at some point.

The atmosphere of Scoops Ice Cream was very comforting and it was perfect for a hot summer day, much like the day I visited. The ice cream was delicious and they offered a variety of foods and flavours. Both indoor and outdoor seating was offered and the place is conveniently located near the park.

Found Scoops accidentally while taking a leisurely drive from Lynchburg yesterday. The Hershey’s sign drew me in but the grilled cheese and soup special will keep me coming back! Perfectly browned grilled cheese. Chicken and dumpling soup full of chicken and the flavor guarantees that real stock is used. Banana pudding in a cake cone sent me away smiling. Great friendly staff and diverse menu. This Chicago girl will be spreading the word❤️
