The manager there is moody as hell. One day she's super nice friendly and talkative, the next time I'm in there I ask a question and get my head bit off. I know everyone has bad days..but geeezzz.. and even once she accused me of opening a brown shipping box. I am not even sure what was in it. But she comes to the register saying you opened this box. And I'm like what? You gonna tell me something I did when I know dam well I didn't. I told her take the box and the rest of my items I was gonna purchase and shove them. Bad bad customer service. You have lost me as a customer that's for sure . Hire better folks or train the ones you have on customer service and politeness!!!!

I love their end of season sales...50 to 75% off? Yes, please! The manager seems like she runs a good place, its CLEAN and neat. The employees are fun and I'm never left waiting at a register with no one helping me. I LOVE this location. It's right on my way home so I can stop in and grab milk or a pizza. The prices are literally a few pennies more than what I would pay at walmart so I dont feel like I'm paying extra for convenience. Great job, all!

Very convenient location where you do not have to drive all the way to Altavista or Lynchburg. There are friendly and polite employees. Their service is pretty quick as well and organized

We stopped in this store on our way to Washington and I must say this is by far the cleanest, most organized DG I have ever shopped! Keep up the great work!

Like any other Dollar.General cluttered with tired over worked underpaid staff who try but seriously GMs and corporate need to do better I shop there only because of the proximity to my home.
