Employees get an attitude when you ask them where something is at! One time i adked a lady that was stocking a shelf where something was and she acted like it was killing her to stop what she was doing in order to help me! Then she took me to the wrong place where she said what i was looking for would be at, and she never seen the thing i was looking for, at the store, but i went to another part of the store and found what i was looking for all by myself, the cups she said they didnt have! Poor service and the store is nasty

The Altavista store needs a major cleaning. Every time I have been in the store it is in disarray. There is barely any room for the cashier behind the counter to walk freely amd not trip over anything. Please get management on the ball and get the store back in shape!!

I have never been in a Dollar General that was such a mess! Many of the aisles had large carts blocking them like they were remodeling.

They just seem to not have enough employees and you can never get through the aisles I used to love going here for my weekly shopping made but now it's almost a hassle just to get through the store I hope they fix this problem soon

It could use more organization a change of stuff colors in cartoon wise and the sizing curtain wise sizes 56 the linked and changes in the rugs and definitely clean of the bathroom

The cashier couldn't give me the correct price of the item and I'm new to va SO I left the store I think she a new cashier there never seen her in the store before and I've been in va for 5 months now!!

Could be a great place to shop if the isles weren't so cluttered. Boxes of merchandise cover the floors and block the isles.

Dollar General in altavista very messy management needs to be replace with someone who cares the store is a trip hazzard the other stores around not that clutter up don't deserve a 1 star sorry

The manager here was very nice. The store was a mess and very unorganized. Not much on the shelfs. The must of had a big sale or a very busy store.

There is never a cashier at the register. Put a bell at the register for crying out loud. Also put a trash can outside so the customers that buy oil will stop throwing trash in the yard.
