They sell expired cheese at the deli. Had I not question the employee and insist on her switching the cheese she got from the back to the one on display, my family and I would have been eating expired cheese. 😡

They sell short expired food items, I bought milk today 03/24/2024, and then I noticed it has only 3 days. I asked them for return or exchange they behave rude and said come tomorrow.

Pleasantly surprised. This area of Richmond highway has many homeless (or at least pretend), pan handlers and other sketchy characters so I try to avoid it. First time to any Shoppers and it was pretty big! Very clean and had more than everything I needed. Needless to say I was impressed. And will go back.

Moved to DC a few years ago from a West Coast city with high cost of living. First grocery trip was to a Shoppers. Absurdly overpriced, not well laid out, weird lack of choice for fresh produce. I avoided the chain and recently popped in this one because I was already in this strip...reminded me why this chain blows goats. Three times in three different stores in three years and my consistent impression is that this entire chain sucks. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

This is a dependable mid-level, no frills supermarket. The employees have fabulous attitudes and, in addition to being the only grocery store in the direct vicinity, keep me coming back! Prices are not discount--sales are okay but about the same as other local supermarkets.

This was a great shop. We were in town for a celebration and unfamiliar with the area. The store had everything we wanted, was clean and well lit. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything we purchased was reasonably priced and very fresh. I kind of like the vibe of the store with its openness. Wish I lived here to be able to shop here more often.

Appreciate you honoring the $10 off of $50 or more spent when i didn't have my coupon. Saw Brian assist an elderly man even though his line had just closed. The man was going to quietly walk to another register. He called him back & in a world of craziness right now, it blessed my heart & I'm sure the gentleman's for a simple & kind gesture

Very clean, well stocked, nice staff, good layout, good prices. They have an organic section for their eggs, beef, and other meats. They also have a small section for Meat Substitutes, that are plant based. There is a good variety of fruits even when they are not in season. The checkouts have full service and self service with assistants so you can get out pretty fast. They have many specials and discounts running to save some money. I would recommend them, especially the watermelon!

A little pricier than the last visit. Always bargains. Some items, however, seemed priced way higher than other neighborhood spots. Hadn't encountered that here before. Still, however, have those crazy giant donuts made in house. And they're spectacular!

Most of the time the food is fine. Tho there is one employee who isn't pleasant to deal with. I've noticed this on several occasions. Also there is a freezer section where you typically find frozen international foods; I don't trust the packages. There have been several times I purchased some items from there and the packages were all cut. I am assuming that when they cut the boxes open they are cutting too deep. I mentioned this to the unpleasant one I mentioned before, only because she was at customer service, and she didn't seem to care in the least bit...

Shoppers is one of the stores in our area and we know just about everybody in there because we've lived in this area for 6 years now and I go there for many items they have a complete Hispanic section and they also have a good meat selection And bakery items we just like to go there to get our groceries sometimes

Store is well stocked and clean. When you can find the staff, they are helpful. The self checkout and shopping carts are an exercise in patience. The shopping carts are the worst!!!The self checkout machines have their own agenda entirely. They are just plain frustrating.

Very first time I went there (just came from the West Coast), went to Customer Service, counted my money and the person behind the counter walked away, she didn't want to wait for me. Keeping in mind that no other customers were there, but me. I waited ten minutes just to do one transaction. I frequent the store now almost daily, because the food is pretty good and fresh, the prices are a bit steep on some of the stuff. I just know, that if that person is around, I will not use their Customer Service and go to Safeway rather to get help, they are cheaper too, their Customer Service is also much better, even with their store looking much much older.

This Shoppers has more than competitive pricing, the staff is helpful and friendly. The store is clean, an always has fresh produce, I think the deli, doesn't do as much business as it could, to keep a lot of items in stock, therefore there are limited choices in deli products.

Outstanding! The fried chicken and grilled chicken was delicious! Outstanding customer service when I picked my order up! Truly a big hit for my grandbaby 1st birthday! Truly happy. Will be ordering again!
