Love ProFeed, and have been shopping there for at least ten years. It's usually staffed by young, enthusiastic kids who are happy to retrieve stuff from the top shelf, and always offer to help me carry my purchases to the car. Yes, the prices are a little higher, but that is somewhat offset by their frequent purchaser program for cases and bags which gives you a free case or bag of food periodically. ProFeed is the only place in the Metro Area where certain hard to find brands are sold. All of their products are ultrapremium, but of course, the contents and quality will differ - what would pet lovers do if they couldn't argue about the quality of one diet over another? I have picky eaters with digestive tract issues. The wide selection of ultra-premium foods, including raw foods, allows me to both meet their dietary needs and vary their diet. I also love that ProFeed is locally owned, and very much a part of our community. They remember my name there. The chains just want to know if I have a membership card.

I stopped shopping there two years ago since the food on the shelf was often expired. I needed food sooner than expected and my usual pet food store was out so I called and asked if they had what I wanted and specifically asked the expiration date. I was told "November" so I drove out there. It was November 2009 and they were still trying to sell it for $10 more than the place I go to which does not sell expired food!
