I initially tried this place with a coupon from Groupon several years ago, and I've taken by dogs here ever since. They really seem to like what they do, and my dogs actually love going there. They actually get to know both their 2 legged and 4 legged customers. When my dog, Lucky, passed away, the compassion that they shared was genuine, and it meant the world to me. These are dog people, and I've since began taking my new puppy there. I pass a multitude of grooming places en route here, but the trip is well-worth it for my fur babies! Highly recommend.

Terrific experience time and time again. They have an “open time” you can bring in your car for a nail trim with no appointment. I love that because my cat is not easy to talk into getting into her carrier! They are so nice to my cat. I can’t say enough about how this place has a home town feel. I truly appreciate the staff.

VERY Disappointed in this company. I have a small dog, she’s a bewier morkie. She was groomed by this company on Tuesday December 13, 2022. When I dropped my pup Bella off, I informed the groomer to only take an inch off. Her hair was pretty long and I wanted to keep a decent amount of fur on her since it’s cold. However, she was cut very low and the cut is choppy. One side of her snout is shorter than the other. Her fur is not even. My pup looks completely different. It seems as if the groomer did not know what they were doing. Not only is the haircut Bad, my dog was nipped on her genitalia in several spots and inside of her leg. Her genitalia has been red and inflamed since her grooming! I dislike the way her paws look and the cut over all. The last picture shows the amount of fur she had before her grooming. I will never take Bella back here! You reading this, please don’t take your pets here.

So let me start by saying that I’m very particular about Gypsy’s hair. As a Mini-Sheepadoodle, she’s one of the few i’ve seen that actually has the long flowing hair of the Sheepdog and not the wiry curls of a poodle. Her bouncy coat totally compliments her personality!!! I don’t want to ever change that.Shelly was awesome to work with and she definitely knows what she’s doing. 20yrs experience in the industry shows in how well Gypsy’s coat and grooming went. So happy with the results and will look no further for all of her doggy day spa needs. Thank you!!!

First, Bernie looks amazing. Second, the staff and environment is also very welcoming and comforting, which is a big deal for us owner's dogs who are afraid of their own shadows. Lastly, the price is extremely reasonable.

I utilized Pretty Pets for a few years and the grooming was great for my 3 dogs. The prices are lower than other grooming facilities in the area. The last & final time I went there: My dog came home with a corneal abrasion. I took him directly to the vet and they confirmed that it was not from my dog scratching his face and somehow scratched his own eye. The vet said the cut on his eye was too deep to be from his paw. The vet concluded that he believed that either the groomer's scissors or hair clippers fit my dogs eye. Initially Pretty Pets said they would pay my dog's vet bill, only to retract the statement after my vet sent them a fax the $400 bill. Now my dog is blind in that eye. I will never return and suggest that others be wary of their services.

I will definitely be coming back with my dog Reign. The groomers were all so sweet and helpful. They accommodated to my dog which took a huge stress off my shoulders. My dog is not the easiest and can be quite wiggly so I appreciated their kindness and patience. The location is also ideal right off Richmond Hwy. I can’t wait to continue bringing my pup to this location, as I really feel like I’ve found a location where I fully trust the groomers. 10/10!

I am a former emergency veterinary assistant and I've been following one of these groomers (Eboni) for years, in fact, since she started grooming. There is no one I would rather have grooming my dog— she is a senior husky with mild arthritis and is prone to furunculosis abscesses on her feet now that she's aged. I wouldn't just trust any groomer with her sensitive feet. In fact, before I knew Eboni, I did my own basic grooming. Eboni has always been patient, kind, and thorough and I will continue to trust her with my senior dog (who just loves her) and any dogs I might have in the future for my grooming needs.It would seem to me that anyone who says otherwise about this groomer is more concerned about the penny pinching budget rather than doing the basic grooming that their dog needs so they do not get charged a dematting fee (imagine your barber yanking on your matted hair at the roots!) or they're too uneducated to understand harmless and superficial irritation from the clippers/to take a vet visit to find the root issue to their pets irritated skin.I've told my friends and family to visit her for their professional grooming needs and I will always recommend this groomer.

This is probably my 3rd time coming here but will be my last. I got my toy poodle groomed and told the groomer (Eboni) that he was matted but I wanted to keep him fluffy if possible. I came back to pick him up and he was completely shaved down, which was fine. I go to pay and normally I pay $75 for a full wash and cut, but was charged $95 for a “‘matt fee.” I asked Eboni why I was charged an extra $20 if he was completely shaved down and the matt’s weren’t cut down, and she said “well you mentioned he had Matts so you were charged.” By the way she gave me complete attitude and said even though the service wasn’t completed because I mentioned he had matts I was charged. They refused to refund me my $20 and basically will scam you because you mention something despite the service NOT being done. I do not recommend this place because they and are completely money hungry. Not to mention Eboni didn’t even cut my dog evenly and I had to come home and fix what she couldn’t do. I would post a picture but I already fixed his cut. Go to Petsmart down the street because they won’t scam you with extra charges and they do a better job!

They do a great cut on my labradoodles, one of which has a challenging tail and beard to get right, but they always do. The check in and out process is an absolute breeze (unlike the other big box pet store up the street, which is a nightmare). One of my dogs has some anxiety but he always seems happy when I pick him up. Last, the online booking process is smooth. Highly recommend Pretty Pets!

I purchased a groupon because my regular groomer is still closed due to covid. My dog Bandit was very over due for a grooming and nail clip. The ladies at Pretty Pets were wonderful! They cut his hair very nicely and took great care of him. They were very accommodating and told me how he was during the visit. The price was extrodinarily good for the service! Bandit will definitely be going again and would highly reccomend Pretty Pets!

Very friendly and accommodating. Do very good work, and have good opening hours. We have two standard poodles (gold plated!), and the groomers do the job quite well. Price is about average based on our experience with other shops, but the service, friendliness, and accessibility far outweigh any cheaper options. Recommended!

We have a 140-pound beast of a dog whose double coat can be a LOT of work to maintain. Shelly does an amazing job at regular bath/brush/blow-dries as well as with his scissor cutting to keep him in a manageable puppy clip. She's never overwhelmed by the size of our job and treats our boy like he's her own. Very flexible and so easy to work with. HIGHLY recommend for a quality grooming job!

I have been taking my numerous dogs (from over the years), from Golden Retrievers, Collies, Mutts, and my two beloved Shih-tzus, on a regular basis. We have entrusted our beloved pups into their hands ~ and are always very happy with the entire experience. They are very skilled, love the creatures they groom and their prices have always been fair/competitive with other bigger grooming outlets. Once again ~ they are most certainly worth it. Every time I go in ~ I see different breeds being picked up by their masters, and regardless of the size, breed, and age ….. they all look great (!!!!!). :-) <3 :-)

I expected to come in getting your standard petsmart level of service. My dog came out looking so good I almost didn't recognize him. If I remember correctly my groomers name was eboni. If ever you come to this establishment ask for eboni.

Caveat Emptor - We used this business before the current owner took, we gave them a 5 star review. We have sent five different dogs, even rescued dogs that we fostered before they went to their forever homes. In fact, we had such a good relationship with the previous owner, they wanted to use our dogs for a grooming competition.When the new current owner took over, during the first visit they hurt one of our dogs. They did not mention it to us when we picked him up, it was noticed when we got home. We took pictures and took him to his Vet. Thankfully, everything turned out fine.We quit using them, until we got a Groupon. As a strong believer in using local businesses, we thought we would do our research and give them another try. The first visit went fine, hence a second visit. When we went to pick him up, things went bad. Not wanting to get into the assorted details of what happened, we will not go back.This is what we all should expect at a minimum from a groomer or anyone we entrust our puppies to: 1) They will not hurt the dog and if an accident does happen, they report it to you when it happens. 2) They will cut the dogs hair according to the breeds standards, and if they are not able to do this, they will let you know in advance. 3) They will not be rude to you, their customers, and if it does happen they apologize. 4) They listen to you, their customers, and not yell at you when they report any of these issues.

I have had three bad experiences with this grooming shop. My dog has long thick hair that gets matted in spots on occasions. I expected my dog’s coat to have been brushed thoroughly but this did not happen for $130. Her hair felt hard and rough. I mentioned this to the owner before the next visit. Well they had a plan for my dog. The owner’s daughter convinced me to allow them to cut my dog’s hair low so that they would not have to spend time brushing. She claimed it takes a long time and causes my dog frustration. She told me I would like the design, just give it a chance. Ok, I agreed to try it. I went behind the gate to speak with her son, tall groomer, and I specifically said to him only cut my dog’s hair down a little and leave at least two inches of hair. He grunted and I had a bad feeling inside. When I came back to pick my dog up she was shaved from her neck to her tail. I was shocked! No one was there when I picked up my dog but the owners daughter. She said that she did not know her brother was going to shave my dog down like that. I told her that had I known this I would have never allowed this cut but I trusted the owner’s recommendation! I was in shock and my dog was traumatized. Afterwards, I spent approximately $340 dollars in vet fees due to treating her for a urinary track infection due to exposed skin with no hair to protect her from the elements. Also on her rear end were red marks that looked like bruises. Now when I attempt to brush my dogs hair with a certain brush she growls. Where did that come from?Thank goodness I found another groomer. Her shop is luxury level, well organized and professionally maintained. Dogs must have an appointment scheduled time and your dog will get full attention and luxury treatment and high end shampoo and conditioner. My dog feels love here that she did not feel from this place and for the first time my dog was happy after her grooming.Good Luck.

We've been taking our two Boston Terriers here now for almost 5 years. The service is great. Though they went through a change in ownership a while back, it didn't change the quality of their service.
