This was my first time at this petsmart, and it's a great location. I was able to find everything I needed and had a few cashier/clerks assist me before checking out. I had got top tier expertise from the young man at the register regarding my choice of cat food. He took care of me and made sure I had my own account still etc...The lady who helped me beforehand was also very nice and quick. She helped me get feeder crickets and made some reccomendations for my Spiders' enclosure accessories. She sold me on a few items and was patient. Top notch customer service....However, I really wish this location was larger or held more items in stock. There were plenty of open spaces on the shelves this time. I can imagine they're frequently busy and maybe that's why there out of certain items. Nevertheless, this didn't impact me in particular but you get the bigger picture. Thanks for the amazing service 🙌

The staff were very helpful and professional. We had a prescription from our vet for a specific dog food and didn't know the process involved in having it validated. The young man at the register was very kind and helped us with everything.

I love that they host adoption events. And they have all the supplies needed for those new forever homes. This location also has training, vet, hotel and grooming.

I am extremely skeptical that they gave my dog a bath yesterday. My house is covered in shedded fur just from him sleeping overnight. The picture included is after 2 brushstrokes. I gave them a call and they said the paperwork states that a bath was given and that their hands were tied.My interactions with the employees have otherwise been excellent.

Booked the furmintaor treatment that usually takes 4 hours. They only bathed and barely brushed. They did not do a sanitary shave or clip nails. Once I called and I asked what happened, was told it was my fault for not specify want I wanted. However, upon drop off I offered specifics of what I wanted. Photo shows how much fur came off my dog less than 24hrs after grooming service that was supposed to included deshedding.

The Bad: Mini golden doodle top dog plus, bath/cut and tip was pretty close to $130. The grooming staff came off a bit rude, dismissive or just busy. (It's worth it). The Good: My dood is typically terrified of the blow-dryer and can be a pain, but he was in and out in less than hour and a half with "Alexander C". No issues and he seemed perfectly happy at pick up. Probably the best grooming experience at any PetSmart thus far.

Only gave 4 because it always seems as though there's only 1 register open. So the line goes from 2 people to then 8 people. Eventually a 2nd register is always opened up but it's too consistent for this to happen. Other than that, I prefer this location over the rivertown location

Very serviceable location providing pet essentials at reasonable prices for a wide variety of animal companions. The stock is usually consistent for the essentials, but can be a little challenging for some of the more luxury or specialty items. There is usually a fairly long line waiting to check out and I have never seen all of the checkout lanes operating but the staff have always been kind and courteous even when things are extremely busy.Love the pet adoption collaborations they have here. I love seeing the dog adoption events and have myself adopted a cat through their partnership with Last Chance Animal Rescue and had a great experience there! (but he did have tapeworms so maybe keep that in mind and be ready at your vet)

Our 7 month old shepherd mix goes to doggy daycare here and loves it. They have parties and a mixed daily schedule all for a reasonable price. Only gave 4 stars because it takes about 20 minutes on hold to make a reservation, drop off takes between 5-20 and pick up takes another 20.

Wow!! Alex and Andrea were amazing. As a new puppy mom I was so anxious. Would my pup be scared, would he cooperate, would the groomers be nice to him and all these worries went away immediately when I met both gentlemen. Andrea answered all my questions and walked me through the process and what type of tools and cut my pup would get. Andrea gave my pup a wash and I could hear him talking to him like it was his puppy. It put me at ease right away. Alex gave Cashew his trim and it came out great!! I knew Cashew was comfortable when he was giving kisses to Alex and snuggling into him. It melted my heart.

I took my dog to have his toenails trimmed. Then had to immediately take him to the vet for his eye. He burst a blood vessel or few choking himself on the restraint. The groomer apparently let this happen long enough or seriously enough for my dog to get injured. We are NEVER going back here.

The place is ok but stinks... they need more people taking care of the cleaning.I had the chance to enter their hotel for cats (when I picked up my cat), stinky and dirty place. They put her in a dark and humid place, a locker type with no windows to see anything outside, don't get me worng they do have a couple lockers like that but most of them are in the bottom part of it. Sad, she was cold and scared in a 2 level dark wooden locker. She came back home weighing 2 pounds less. Looks like she didn't eat, can't tell what happened because nobody brief me. So If am to judge by her behavior, this was traumatic. I will only use this service if it is an emergency. Be aware.

Brought our dog here after having a good experience with a PetSmart in southern Virginia, where we lived previously. In total, we have used the services at this particular store twice and we have not been impressed so will not be using the services here again.The staff are rude and act like you are interrupting them when you arrive. We have seen staff using their phones too when they are with dogs, which is just not professional. They just appear like they don't want to be there.The first haircut was okay and because it's more affordable than other groomers, we returned for a second time and it was poor from start to finish. Lackluster attitude upon arrival like last time, which was a bad start. They advised the appointment should take between 3 and 4 hours maximum, but nearly 5 hours passed and we had heard nothing. We knew how distressed our dog would be by this point (and desperate for the bathroom) so we called and asked for an update. They were vague when asked why it was taking so long so either they weren't working efficiently or they had overbooked, so we suspect our dog spent some time locked up in a cage instead of being groomed during this time-frame, which is appalling. When they eventually advised that we could collect him, we arrived and our dog's coat was wet. 5+ hours and our dog wasn't even dry! The haircut was okay, but it does not justify the time taken, attitude or overall poor service. Seriously, it is worth spending $20+ more dollars to go somewhere else or drive out further to find a better service.

I have been taking my pet here for years.. 5 plus to be exact. We always use the PetHotel at least twice a year. I picked my son/dog up this pasted Saturday and now he has Kennel Cough. We do not take our dog to a place that is contaminated and certainly not to a place where we have to pay over $300 for a few days to care for a sickly dog. This is unacceptable and the Staff needs to do a better job with caring for All the animals that are in their care. The staff needs to do a better job with Sanitizing the Areas so this type of neglect behavior will not occur Again. We are uncertain if our dog/son will return because this is just ridiculous and unacceptable. The whole Staff needs to be Trained better to care for Animals that are like Family to us. PetSmart is going downhill very quickly and will continue to lose business if no changes occur within the company.

I had a whole experience of this place. My husband and I wanted to adopt a cat. We called and they gave us the information but when we got there they said it was too late. We had to be there by five. It would have been wonderful to know that before we drove all the way over there. Nevertheless, we went back the next day and everything was fine. However I have to constantly search for people in the store to help me. They need more workers. I’m not a judgmental person but there was someone working there with the worst body odor. I know people have different standards and I know different cultures do different things. But when you work in the public you must be mindful of how you present yourself.We adopt a cat named her Lucy and we are happy with her. We will be back in Petsmart for things for her and I guess our overall experience was pretty good.

I got my family member from here. I find it a great business model to have quirky pet lovers as sales people. I won't shop elsewhere after having a medical emergency that was solved by an employee. It was actually a few. They worked together. Food environment otherwise I would have gone to emergency veterinarian.I'd like to mention these people are mixed races with no tension. I can't speak for PetSmart as a whole, I can say in where I live is managed well. I especially like who they hire.

Like all Petsmart it is classic bib box retail store. They offer lots of pet food and grooming as well as some training in the store. Plenty of parking, it is near a Staples, Best Buy, and other stores. The strip mall has just about everything for one stop shopping. You do have to ask for the code to the rest room.

Came here to pick up an e-collar for my 4 mo. old kitten after surgery. I thought they wouldnt have what I needed, but they did! Staff very helpful in finding several options for me. Would absolutely recommend! If you can get a onesie for your kitten from amazon or make one yourself from a sock instead and they wont tear through it, I would opt for that over an e-collar.

Great staff who work their butts off, I'm here a lot and this place can get really packed and the staff here do their best to keep the lines moving. They always have had a great attitude and do their best to welcome everyone wheyou walk in the store. There also hasn't been ANY time that I've been here (even through Christmas season) where the store was in disarray or stuff wasn't stocked. (Sure there's always going to be this or that in low supply, that's just nature of the beast these days.) usually I always find what I need, when I need it.

They will lose your pet's things. I neatly labeled her blanket. When I picked her up, it was not there. It questions if they gave it to here because she is hairless.When picking her up, I rang the bell 5 times (waited 20 minutes and had 4 people behind me in line) as I watched 2 staff members walk back and forth. I even banged on the window. I had to go to the front to get someone to get the staff. I pushed the bell when they were in front of me and it worked. They just ignored it.It is hard getting anyone to answer the hotel line. I have to wait 10 minutes and keep getting the reservation line because it keeps ringing at the storeThey need more staff.

I won't be back to this store, or any other PetSmart, that sells live animals. There were multiple dead and listless betta fish in containers that were too small of them. One such container had two male betta fish -- one dead and one alive. The dead fish must have been there awhile because his body was already decomposing. If this is how they treat the fish that people can see, how do they treat animals we can't?

My son is 2 and loves cats. We went in and he ran straight to the car room but it was occupied. We waited for the people before to exit the room and went in and he was so happy. Then the employee asked if we’re adopting and I said “no, he’s just really excited to see the cats”. I was told we had to leave the room even though no one else was trying to enter the room. My poor son cried forever outside the door and didn’t understand why we waited and then still weren’t allowed in.It’s good for the cats to get a little attention, and good for my son to get out and enjoy animals. I’m not sure why we couldn’t just sit in the room and look at some cats. It seemed it was mostly the employee just being lazy and rude.
