The class at Petal's Edge was for beginners, but I left feeling like a pro and ready to book my own events (maybe even style a wedding with my own flower arrangements) by the end. The instructors were warm and receptive to questions, allowing the class participants to move at their own pace and take their pick from a wide bunch of different flowers. It is the perfect type of class to do by yourself, or with girlfriends, or even carve out the time to do it as a date night activity. I was so lucky to encounter this small business in the heart of Old Town by chance! A friend gifted me the class to brighten my spring season after a lot of winter illnesses plagued our house. I'll be back soon and plan on using them as a vendor for future events my family hosts in our home or elsewhere.

Petal's Edge was INCREDIBLE for my spring DC wedding! Gerry worked closely with me to create a design that was absolutely gorgeous and spent considerable time on the phone walking me through possible design ideas, flowers, and where we could reuse flowers. She was very flexible, responsive, and budget-conscious, which I appreciated. I felt like I could really trust her expertise and was confident the arrangements would be beautiful going into the day. My bouquet and all of the arrangements turned out absolutely incredible, exactly how I pictured and better!! Cannot recommend enough! Thank you Gerry and Petal's Edge!

I had the best experience working with Lissa at Petals Edge! She was responsive and flexible with changes to the order. On the day of everything was set up perfectly! The team even set up my ceremony arches that I brought and had asked a family member to take care of. The ceremony floral design was perfect and all her idea because I couldn’t figure out what I wanted/needed. They did an amazing job recreating all the inspiration pics I sent. All our bouquets were fresh and beautiful. Everything was just completely perfect and I am so happy with the work they provided. Their prices were also very competitive compared to other companies.

This gorgeous arrangement was delivered to my parents within 24 hours of my order, just in time to cheer them up for Lunar New Year since we couldn't be together this time due to Covid. Petal's Edge even accommodated my special request for yellow roses (my mom's favorite, I wasn't sure if it was possible since it was right around Valentine's). My mom is so happy and just thanked me again for them, four days later!

Very impressed with the quality of the flower arrangements. Gerry helped me coordinate an arrangement for a birthday delivery and took great detail in asking about the recipient’s flower and color preferences. I loved working with Lissa and the Petal’s Edge team! Everything was great. They really listened to what I wanted for my bridal bouquet and made my vision come to life. The wedding arch, bridesmaids’ bouquets, boutonnieres, and flower cuffs were all great. The communication in the months and weeks leading up to the event was prompt and delivery on the day of was timely with no issues. Overall, they were one of our favorite wedding vendors!

I had them deliver flowers to my wife for her birthday. They charged me $115 for a 4" x 4" little vase bouquet. I know things are expensive in this area, but many of the flowers were already starting to turn brown around the edges. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and the delivery was fast, but wow. For that price, I could have gotten three times as many flowers from the market and delivered them myself.

Cannot rave enough about Gerry and her team at Petal's Edge. From the very moment I emailed her an initial inquiry, asking if she had my date free, Gerry was incredibly responsive, helpful, insightful and informed. She educated me a lot (a rather indecisive bride!) during our initial consultation, and we really thoroughly discussed my vision and ideal style. Booked her within hours of that conversation, and loved every moment of working with her. Their pricing is reasonable (I spent more on flowers than any other element, aside from venue), and I feel I got every penny's worth! I loved being able to modify my flowers (design, coloring, amount, etc) right up until about two weeks ahead of the big day --- including entirely modifying my bridal bouquet! Gerry and team created the most unique ombre rose bouquet I've ever seen - so in love. I had 100% confidence in their work, set up, call times and pricing. She is transparent, and again - incredibly responsive. It's actually her responding too, from her iPhone, wherever she is in the world! You never get some generic, template response from Petal's Edge - just high quality, educated, engaged and passionate care! Thanks again, Gerry and team - you made my day incredible.

Had a great experience working with Gerry and her colleagues at Petal’s Edge.I needed floral centerpieces for a large, high profile corporate event. I wasn’t sure what I should get, but when I spoke to Petal’s Edge they asked questions and then made some recommendations based on my group.Petal’s Edge worked to help me manage the flowers and freshen them as needed over the course of the three-day event. She also helped trouble shoot some issues I had with layout of the tables and centerpieces.I would be glad to hire Petal’s Edge again when we can hold corporate in-person events! Gerry and her team are true artists. We booked Petal's Edge to do flowers for our wedding. They included Gardenias, which are difficult to keep from bruising, and they arrived in pristine condition. The decorations worked so well with the venue and the table arrangements, keeping to my "French Garden" theme with Coral and Blue accent colors. It's so difficult to choose a florist, because you don't know if you are getting the best value. Gerry's proposal wasn't the cheapest, because they don't sacrifice on quality. I chose vendors who know when to take over the creative direction as well: be cautious when someone says "sure, whatever you want." You're a Bride, not a Florist. I loved it when Gerry told me "no" and offered a more elegant solution. That's why I picked Petal's Edge over some cheaper, more inexperienced options. You don't want a team of "yes men" you want a team of artists on your wedding day. And that team needs to include Petal's Edge!

Shortly working with this company to draw up a contract for a wedding. Petals Edge Floral Design, did not give alternative suggestions when the budget changed. Employee pushed there own ideas rather than listening to the client. When it comes to weddings the most important aspect is to give the customer the best option, even when variables change. If your decision is to choose this company, highly suggest getting multiple quotes to draw the best conclusion.

Gerry was absolutely great to work with. Even though I had the initial consultation with Rebecca, who is no longer with the company, Gerry seamlessly picked up right where she left off. I showed her photos of what I wanted based on their previous work and everything turned out great! When I met with her about requesting additional flowers, she suggested reusing the MOH bouquet and chair poises for those areas, which definitely saved me money!She even delivered to three separate locations (for an additional fee, which I thought was worth it) on time and made sure to call beforehand. When she delivered my personal flowers she also helped add some photos of my deceased father to the bouquet. She transferred the florals from the ceremony site to the reception site, which again saved on purchasing additional floral arrangements, and set everything up in time before my guests arrived.My only recommendation would be to make sure you send her a follow up email after meeting in person. I met with her at the end of July and thought everything was confirmed, but as I didn’t follow up in writing it wasn’t final. She accepted the few changes even though we were less than a month away from the wedding, which I was very grateful for!I would definitely use her services again!

RimasFilms has recently filmed a magical wedding at the Willard Intercontinental, where the floral design was created by the Petal’s Edge Floral Design. I have met team myself, while they were getting everything ready for the big day. They were working hard and fast, very focused and organised. And the final result was spectacular! The Floral Design of the wedding, was just, what the wedding film needed, it helped to create the emotional mood. I highly recommend Petal’s Edge Floral Design!

They don't do same day delivery and they don't open until 10AM but, when I called at 9AM and asked for a delivery for my wife's birthday, the flowers were delivered about 30 minutes later. This is the kind of small town, down home, family owned business that'll get return customers. I am absolutely grateful and thankful and amazed at the service provided.
