Really cute boutique pet store. They have a great variety of treats and chew toys that are all natural and great prices compared to the big box stores. They also host adoption events with rescues!

Great pet boutique, and great staff! We have several dogs and we buy their foods and treats for all of them there.My only dislike is that they were literally down the street from me, and have moved a bit further, ☹️ but we will still patronize them. 😊Highly recommend this pet shop without reservation.

The ownership and staff at Felix and Oscar create an unforgettable experience every single visit. It's very likely your dog will be pampered and you will be extended every courtesy you can imagine. I've seen them give generously their time, care, attention and even products to the pets they love. I've witnessed several first hand accounts of the bonding that takes place between the owner and the pets, and it's truly because of how much they care, and how they genuinely and passionately care for the dogs and cats they serve and get to know. Some items may be a dollar or two more expensive then other shops (they may do price match, I never asked) but give it a chance and come for the experiences first and the products and yummy treats second. This place, because of the people there, is truly special.

DISCLAIMER [MY PERSONAL OPINION ONLY].Updated Portion:To say that "We don’t tolerate any abuse, shouting, or disrespect of our employees in any way" in response to my saying "Let me talk to Woody" after holding for 9 minutes is living in LaLa Land, and not realistic....friction is part of life, business is full of friction...If you can't train your employees consistently, IE to allow a customer to arrive a couple of minutes after closing, when your staff routinely stays in the store for an additional 15 minutes after closing, these are the results.I am one of the most personable customers a business can have, and you had.Invest in your staff, train your staff consistently and you won't have these exchanges, granted most retail staff is usually comprised of 'youngsters' with little social experience, but what happened that day was completely uncalled for.I found another store with nicer personnel who can actually talk without being on the defensive, and will drop off my order on their way home (without a $50 minimum order), and will also provide fun cat toys!You are dispensable as a business, your customers are NOT! First comes the need, then the business. Steve Jobs! (Paraphrased).Oh by the way hire another assistant manager, that's your weakest link in your chain, to say the least!---Original Review:So apparently this business has invested quite a lot in "renting real estate", (not the smartest business strategy @ that), rather than training their poorly socialized management, but that’s just my opinion.The following is my experience. SO I call asking for donations for shelter cats, and the lady whose name I can't recall for sure, but may be Karisa? immediately gets on the phone, and (despite previous donations made by another very nice and friendly employee, by the name of Woody, tells me) she is the "manager"; that in itself should raise a weak "ego" red flag, or in the alternative an unnecessarily aggressive one.SO the next time, Matt who I believe is the owner, comes out of the office and shaking his ahead in a possibly "out of touch" manager stance (who doesn't know his customers), utters my name, and I am like ok...what's up..SO today, I call and placed an order around 3:00 PM...I get caught up in traffic and call Woody around 6:50 PM to let him know I am omw (which has never been an issue before since they usually stay much later than closing time)...and another girl puts me on hold saying he is on the "phone".Being out of pet food, I call back on the other line, and I tell the girl who put me on hold, I need to talk to Woody.She said he was on the phone, and I tell her I will be there just past 7:00 and again (being poorly trained) she immediately tells me, "No, we close at 7:00). I tell her to chill out, @ which point the other girl, Karisa? immediately gets on the phone and says she is refunding my order, and I am no longer welcomed, (a customer who's been going there) for as long as I can remember.She then leaves me food outside, and I as I walk up to pick up the food, (ironically right at 7:00 PM) that she has left in a bag, I see them all huddled behind the register as if it's 3rd down and long.This is classic lawsuit territory, and I am exploring, despite my nearly 100 filed civil cases, it may need further research.IF I thought for a moment I would get an apology regarding all this, I would have left it at that...rather than to write this review, but more often than not, out of touch owners, (corporate and other types) are willing to let go of a good customer, than to chastise a rude, inappropriate employee with poor social and behavioral skills. So be it![THE PRECEDING WAS MY OPINION, AS TO FACTS WHICH HAVE TRANSPIRED THIS YEAR, THEY ARE ACCURATE TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND RE-COLLECTION].

Very disappointed with this store and its customer service. I love to support local small businesses but not this store anymore.At first my dog monthly food orders were being submitted promptly (I was reordering 4 weeks in advance) but for the past 3 months they apparently “just forgot” to reorder my dog food. Today 10/26, I received a voice message from Julie staying that my order wasn’t placed AGAIN. I called the store and spoke to the Owner, Matt, whom is as bad as his staff. When I explained what was going on his reply was to excuse his store/staff screw ups. When I told him I wasn’t going to reorder or return to his store anymore, his reply was “ok” not once did he offer to expedite my order or anything!!!I had to expedite my dog food from a chain store, so that my poor dog isn’t left without food.

The staff is always so helpful and knowledgable and I love the quality of the inventory and products that they carry. I'm glad that they relocated closer to me because I can always find what I need in this store. And they're very welcoming to the pups that are shopping in-store as well.

Love this place. So many great options for my cats. Great natural selections and has fridges full of my cats’ favorite raw chicken and turkey. Steve’s!I love the reward system they have. I’ll be moving to DC to Alexandria but will absolutely still be making the trips to felix’s.

I drove 40 minutes to this store because I found them on the website of Bones&Co dog food. Not only that I found everything that I was looking for, they also have a great selection of toys, treats and dog grooming products so I ended up purchasing much more than what I came for 😅The store is super organized I love it!Young ladies that were at the front desk were exceptionally pleasant, nice and helpful, excellent customer service that you don’t see often at other places!This will become our go to store ☺️Thank you so much.

A strong variety of raw brands. Other local pet food stores pale in comparison to what F&O consistently offers. Really appreciate having a reliable go-to for my dogs. The staff has always been professional and welcoming to us.

We used to go to the Springfield location but are so happy they opened in kingstowne where we live! They have literally everything your pup could ever need and you can count on their products to quality and healthy. I feel confident getting my dogs treats, food/toppings, toys and grooming products from here and the staff is always so kind and friendly! There familiar faces always make me feel like home! My only feedback is to add Carna4 to the loyalty program, so I can earn more rewards 😉

These guys are wonderful.I first visited after my cat had been diagnosed with lymphoma. She was underweight and it was difficult to find food she was willing to eat and that didn't contain all the sugar, wheat and junk found in most grocery store brands.The staff at Felix & Oscar helped take a bit of stress out of a very difficult time. They seem to truly care are always friendly, and are happy to take the time to help you find the food that your pet needs. The offered a variety of options for my cat to try, and spent time reviewing ingredients, and provided several dry food samples, a blessing on it's own.It reminds me of the old mom & pop shops where you feel like a friend and neighbor. I really wish more places like this still existed... it's a quality of service and atmosphere no chain or online retailer will ever be able to duplicate. If you're in the area, make sure you pop in and support them.

Can’t beat a family owned business that treats everyone like family! The staff are all so very honest, courteous, and accommodating. They give recommendations that I always trust and they go above and beyond for their customers. I was trapped in by traffic for quite a while while trying to leave their store. An employee saw and literally came out to help direct me out. I struggled carrying my purchase and an employee carried it to my car for me. They’re also pretty much the only place in the area that carries the food for my very sensitive stomach cat. If they ever don’t have it they’re quick to tell me when they’ll have it in and work with me to ensure he doesn’t go hungry. I’ve moved and still go use them even though it’s further away because they are so kind and amazing.

They have everything for your dog/cat. Our puppy loves the chew bones from there. It is a much better location in Kingstown than across from Outback in Springfield (Backlick Road).

They have a high rating for a reason. Staff goes out of their way to try and find you anything and everything that works for your pet no matter the situation. Always a clean friendly store. I am soooooo glad they moved to kingstowne!

I have been going to F&O for years and I can't say enough great things about them. They are the only pet store to go to as far as I'm concerned. I have two dogs and two cats and they all get a raw diet. They will work with me on getting the best food without breaking the bank, and they are so knowledgeable and helpful. If they're not sure of something, they'll look it up. They are the perfect example of what great customer service should be. I never worry about the quality of the food they sell, because they do their research and only sell the best--many of the companies are local, which I like. My dogs just love it there. Jake has had issues in the past of being shy and was nervous when we would enter the store at first. But the love that Diana, Nikki , Matt and other staff showed him brought him out of his shell. He can't wait to get in the store now! When we took Jake in there the day we had our dear husky mix, Desi, put down, and they were so kind and loving. I am proud to call them my friends!

Such a helpful staff and they only carry the best products for your pets. Even have raw food for my kitty! Lotus and primal brands and some others but those are the primary ones my little guy likes. They are also very reasonably priced! Definitely shop here and support local small businesses

F&O is a terrific, local pet store, w excellent brands of food as well as ancillaries for our pets. Matt, the owner, and Woody and Will know their products and are great guides in helping you find the best products for your pet's/pets' needs. They sell only high quality items. I have been shopping at F&O for several years. They feel like extended family and neighbors, they take care to get to know their customers!

The store maybe small, but the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and really care about the customers. Unlike the mega pet stores it size allows the staff to keep it clean and neat, allowing you to quickly find what you and your four legged family member needs.

The service at Felix & Oscar is awesome. Woody has helped me the few times I've been here, and he is so kind and knowledgeable! He took the time to help me find the right diet for each of my 3 dogs. I can't express how thankful I am for this as one of my dogs had been in the ER and needed a diet change. I'd been purchasing from Chewy/Amazon prior to going to Felix & Oscar, and now I drive half an hour to come here for the great products and wonderful service. Thankful for the staff!

Absolutely amazed at their customer service, professionalism, and knowledge of their products. The young gentleman with the long hair that assisted me and my hundred questions, I failed to catch his name, was beyond AMAZING! He must have walked us through every chicken free (dog has an allergy) dog food, and was ever so patient with us. Answered every question, and taught me so much!! They are beyond lucky to have him, as he is so well rounded with a glowing attitude!

One of my all time favorite pet stores. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and always excited to see a picture of your pet. They carry a large variety of pet foods, chews, and toys in a clean and well organized shop.
