THE ultimate worst Dollar Tree in Northern VA. I had to walk out because there were items everywhere, things were broken, and it was so dirty there were dust bunnies on everything. Staff/managers, please do to the store in Burke and learn what your store SHOULD be back. I walked out and bought my stuff elsewhere. 😖

Although I’m a frequent shopper at the dollar tree, I’m shocked at the state of disarray this store is in. In fact, I’m not sure how this place hasn’t been flagged by the health department.

I knew it smelled off as soon as I came in and now I know why! This place is INFESTED with mice! I actually saw a mouse during my visit! Droppings are everywhere!!! They have traps all over the floors “hidden” under the shelves. Nothing food related is on any of the bottom shelves but that doesn’t matter, droppings are on the top shelves too. Please get an exterminator and just start all over!!!

No matter what day I go into this store, it never looks clean and in order. People stealing, eating the chips and candies, not enough employees, and when they have two or three, they are so Lowd and not professional. Is better to go to the one in Rose Hill. For sure you don't step on the items. I was in there yesterday 9-02-23 and only One Employee as a cashier and with a very very long line. I felt sorry for him as a cashier also that I am.This store as never look good, it was a good idea for a Dollar store here, but not for it looking like a rundown store. that's why people treat it anyhow. You need employees that care for their jobs and also very firm Bosses that cares as well. Thank you. and that is why I rate you with ONE STAR.

This is an average Dollar Tree. They have expanded their offerings over the past year, with the frozen food section and more edibles. Last year, the inventory was a bit lacking and you did not see a lot of items that you would normally find that other Dollar trees. But it seems to have improved.It is a smaller location so that is going to limit what they carry.

This place is crazy. .Always dirty and unorganized. .One cash register open and the line is all away to the back of the store.You can walk through the FiOS because there are boxes everywhere. They are never start up properly. Go somewhere else

I came in and saw Mr. Wilson stocking and tending to addressing a holiday endcsp. I had to stop him and commend him for the stores appearance. He was working diligently and in all areas. When the line got too long he even stopped what he was doing and took on the register to help out. He is an asset to that store. People are so lazy and do the bare minimum. His work ethic was superior. You can tell he cared about his job and it shows when you walk in the store. I had to take my time and leave a review just so his management could see that he is definitely a hard worker. He needs to be future management! His ethic can not be taught.

Omg. This place is heaven.I mean the Dollar Store has dippin dots....bread...fish...veggies....bacon cotton candy (pic below, ew!)....red baron pizza...bagel bites and pregnancy tests all for $1 each? There is officially no longer a need to go anywhere else ever.

All of their workers are disrespectful. My cousins and I went to dollar tree to purchase candy. We had insufficient fund on our card and we were just a few dollars off. So we decided to just cancel the order. Our cashier an Asian man decided to tell us that he could “tell we were broke” The man made us stay for hours and made half of us walk home to get a card from home and walk back while he was insulting the other half of us at the store. He kept calling us broke/poor and it was 100% racially motivated. I’m deeply hurt, i we shouldn’t have been forced to pay when we asked multiple times to leave the items at the store and cancel to order. The amount of inconveniences i’ve had at this store is uncountable. This man has said many racist things to us and i’ve never remembered to get his name. Whoever hires the workers at dollar tree also needs to be fired along with the Asian man. He should’ve let us let us cancel the order . He had no right to make us stay.

Just left here and it was too an ok dollar tree until TODAY. As other people have shown pictures I had to tell a staff member to get candy from the candy isle that had been left there and open and clearly eaten by mice. They it became where I saw multiple pieces of open candies and chocolates open and eaten clearly by mice and no one had removed any of them. To the point that it was so many I didn't even tell the staff member about all the other ones. I just went ahead and left the store.The other candy bags where dirty and had mouse droppings on them when picked up. I will not be returning to this store. It's needs to be throughly cleaned and fumigated. It is dirty and nasty. None of the staff cares.

It was great. The item I came to purchase was abundantly available. I was pleasantly surprised. The shelves were stocked neatly and the aisles were clear of any boxes or random items along the floor. I will definitely be visiting again real soon. The only reason why I didn't give it a five star review was because the line was a little slow.

This location fares well as any other Dollar Trees in the area. My only gripe is that the lighting is really dim inside. Other locations I've frequented have a much brighter ambiance. The selection of greeting cards, gift bags, and snacks are always plentiful and the cashiers are friendly and quick to service everyone in line.

Like most dollar trees it looked as though their going out of business. Walk down any aisle there is one full section one empty section. The company doesn't care about customer service they are simply telling you buy what you see or pay more elsewhere if you want selections

I quite like this store. They always have a good selection, although the seasonal products do sell out early. Don't confuse this with Dollar General! The Dollar Tree is a MUCH better value for the price. If you are looking for inexpensive party supplies or seasonal items, definitely come here first.

How can you ever be dissatisfied with Dollar Tree? The cleanliness of this particular store was great. I was able to find everything I needed within ten minutes, which gave me more time to browse and think of others things I possibly wanted. The customer service was also great. I would visit this store again!

This store has gone down unbelievable within the last 3 months. The store floors always look dirty and sticky; there is evidence of rodents getting to the potato chips bags and opening them by the spillage on the floors and shelves.The hand carry green baskets are all dirty in the inside.The store now has a funny smell, I have noticed lately. The store needs to be close and given a thorough cleaning of floors and everything.I have been shopping at this store for the last 11 years, and am totally shocked about its present uncleaned condition.

The Dollar Tree Store in Virginia cashier was very nice and polite. Thank you for helping me with cart. I purchase a lot of things there and was not able to carry them to my car so she unlock the cart and I was very successful loading my car.

I like Dollar Tree. I go often to Md Stores. I stopped here while my girlfriend was in the store. I wanted to surprise her with a couple of Balloons, just to say I Love You. They were out of Helium. So that was a Bust !!😒

I'm only giving 2 stars because the staff is always nice. I love Dollar Tree, just not THIS location. It's always junky and cluttered no matter what time or day of the week I seem to go. Boxes are ALWAYS in the aisles blocking the shelves or causing me to have to squeeze by, displaced items are ALWAYS on the floor of several aisles. There's often a long line and not enough registers open. But like I said, the staff is always nice, they greet you and will help if you have a question.

The store was real messing to a point that I seen little mouse stuck to glue trap and I guess nobody wants to pick it up so that was really disgusting so it show that nobody don't care about the either. So if going to rise the price to 1.25 get the clean up and together. I will not be back sorry.

Extremely repulsive customer service. A young cashier, Diego, accused me of shoplifting at this location. I simply walked in and checked to see if they had a specific product was available and was on my way out. He had absolutely no evidence to back his claim. There is nothing at a dollar store worth stealing.The employees need to receive more customer service training.Follow-up - I had a phone call with the manager the following day to address the issue. She listened to my complaint and told me she would address the issue with her employee.

Great stop for seasonal items, my go-to place for putting together little gift bags for Valentine's day or other holidays, or just because. Surprising variety of household items of varying qualities and even food items (including frozen and refrigerated), which are generally pretty good quality. Items are often packaged in smaller quantities but hey, that's perfect for a single person. Tons of bargains!

You would think that a dollar tree that hasn't been opened very long would be very nice inside...But I'm never surprised that when I walk into this particular store that it looks like a tornado has gone through. Nothing is ever where it's supposed to be, empty u-boats and boxes of merchandise are scattered everywhere.And on many occasions I've seen employees sitting on the floor in the aisles "putting things away" when they're actually texting on their phones. And the lines are always abysmal.I'd rather drive the extra few miles down the road to the old Dollar Tree that is always clean and organized.

I used to shop at this dollar tree regularly because it's closer to me. Unfortunately I don't shop at this store location anymore. The store is very cluttered and not clean. The employees are very unprofessional. Also the lines are very long and management doesn't come often to help bring the line down. Hopefully they can get everything working and looking like a professional retail atablishment.

Only four stars this visit in anticipation of five after renovation is complete. Service, selection and friendly employees were all five stars! We were here for cemetery flowers this trip and were amazed at the quality and many choices.
