Absolutely love Costco! It has everything I would ever need. I would say that Costco fulfills about 90% of all our household shopping needs. As for the rest I may go to Wegmans simply because they have unique items that Costco doesn't carry. But all our meat, veggies, cheese, bread, eggs, seltzer, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and wine come from Costco. If you are ever throwing a party, Costco is your one stop shop destination.Our favorite food items are the salmon filets, English cheddar cheese, Kirkland brand seltzer, and the Irish butter!

Not my favorite Costco, since it lacked the items I got at other Costcos. It was also very crowded early in the morning. The customer service was very good. We did find items we needed at a good price. I always love their fresh vine tomatoes & bags of avocados. I did like their high quality white wine selection with high ratings. The $1.50 drink with giant beef hotdog at Costco is still present and a great deal there. Almost bought a new snack item I never saw in Costco but didn’t. I would only go to this Costco again for convenience yet I rather try another Costco.

I want to give a shout out to William in the hearing aid department!I started going here a year ago and he is just super!Keeps my aids working no matter what!Saved me lots of money and he does a great job!This is the best Costco around!The people that work here are all so nice!They also have some great prices along with the best hearing aid department!An update!William helped me get my hearing aids updated for no cost and what a difference they make!They came back new!Working better than ever!I highly recommend this location!Clean bright with great employees!

This is a VERY difficult review (and the longest one I've ever written) because I am a Costco person #kirklandgang (not a real gang obviously, just a group of people who love Costco lol).Either way, I'm gonna give Costco a 2 out of 5 star in this Google review because I'm tired of the experience I've been having at the Costco food court. Enough is enough!Costco pizza is a 9 out of 10! I would give it a 10 if they brought back the veggie pizza and Supreme pizza options. (hint hint)But the issue and situation with the food courts at the two Costcos I frequent is a mess (Alexandria Rt 1 and Woodbridge Potomac Mills). The wait time for the whole pizzas can be over 40 minutes which truthfully that isn't the issue. I wait without much complaint as long as 1.5 hours for 2 pizzas at least once a month. My issue is the gaggle of people, poor organization/flow of service and the minimal customer service that I continue to get. It's obviously not just me because most of the customers are feeling the same frustration when I'm there.Today, I experienced the worst customer service I've ever experienced at Costco. I won't mention his name although I seriously debated it bc he was rude to me and his co-worker that was trying to help me. And it's not the 1st time I've experienced it or seen it.He should not be customer facing with that type of disposition. I thank the manager Jasmine and the supervisor and the employee that was actually trying to help me get the drinks for my kids and I while I waited for the pizza. With a 30 minute wait time getting your other items IF you want them should not be a problem-and normally isn't with anyone else but him. He rudely told his coworker that I could wait eventhough they were calling orders past my number. He said it 3 times while I was standing in front of him as if I wasn't there and as if she wasn't allowed to help me as if he was in charge. I don't know who he thought he was dealing with. I kept my cool but addressed his rude customer service and asked why I couldn't get my items while I wait for my pizza and asked for a manager. After talking to the supervisor who was helpful but I asked for a manager because I needed to ensure I was heard.Now please keep in mind I rarely write negative reviews bc I recognize that everyone's experiences are different and I like to give places chances to do better but poor customer service is a huge problem that is so easy to avoid and easy to correct with a little bit of courtesy and respect. Please note I've worked at Taco Bell, McDonald's, TGI Fridays, Golden Corral and other restaurants and customer service jobs in highschool and college and even after I graduated. I am a process improvement and project manager and if anyone asked me I'd love to give some simple recommendations for my beloved Costco to improve the crappy experiences I and many others have had with the food court.I also would like to say that I feel bad for the employees at the food court because it's a pressure cooker and I doubt it's an easy job dealing with the crowds of people that they serve all day. Thank you to all of you for serving us this yummy and great priced food!But it's 2024 and I hope you do better and expect more from your employees and take time to assess and improve the efficiency at your food court.Will I stop going to Costco, heck no! But I will definitely continue to be a vocal customer if or when I get poor customer service. Just being real with you. Overall Costco gets a 8 out of 10 most days but today and in regards to the food court experiences today and in the past, they get a 3 out of 10 for customer service (but like I said earlier a 9 out of 10 for the food! Can't beat the quality and price!If you read this entire review, thx. Very kind of you. 😊

I went to the Richmond Highway Costco in Alexandria today with my family and when we got to the Cashier, we let her know we wanted to pay a sound bar with a different card. The Cashier was an order Hispanic lady, unfortunately, I didn't get her name. I went ahead and gave her my card and since my brother (who also lives in the same household) was taking out his card to pay. The Cashier commenced to tell me that my friend needed to pay cash for the purchase, which I became confused about. She continued to repeat the same thing, telling me that there was a new rule that if I brought a friend to Costco they could purchase items but have to pay cash. This wasn't my friend, it was my brother and he was just paying for the sound bar for our house. She did not let me pay even with my card, does it matter what card I pay with? Outrages.This is not the first time something happens at this Costco. This is why I usually use self checkout to avoid dealing with the cashiers attitudes.On another occasion, I was in like for self checkout and the lady there started saying that people with too many things in their carts could not use the self checkout. The person in front of me had a full cart and questioned the reason behind what she was saying and the worker responded with "Because the manager said so" After a spat, she let her go through the self check out. She then approached me and said the same thing. Mind you, I didn't have a full cart, I just had a packet of towel paper, 2 water cases, a bag of toilet paper, and a couple of other things, not even close to a full cart. She would not let me pay at self check out.I am outraged at the service at this Costco, I don't know what time of people they are hiring or how they are training them because so many of them lack good customer service.

Well organized with enough options on most items . Their roasted chickens are still the best at a very good price. Lots of parking but it can get crowded. Gas prices are good.

- you do need a membership to enter this business.- this location always seems to have everything I'm looking for.- the place is clean and organized.- prices are not bad for buying in bulk but if you are just picking up a few things here and there it can get pricey.- bring your own bags or boxes, or they have boxes there you can use but it's first come first serve.- has a lot of parking but this location gets very busy.- overall not a horrible experience shopping here.

Bought their 2 dozen roses today to come home and find out that there was only 19 full roses in the bouquet. I did however have the 5 stems that appeared to belong to the ones that were missing. Buyers just be wary when buying their flowers. This has happened every time, but it has always just been 1 rose missing. Not 5.

Lack of customer service. I waited in line to make my purchase. (Long af) when it was my turn to pay the machine tells me that my card is expired which it wasn't. I tried to explain to the cashier she called the supervisor/ manager (hispanic guy round and short, facial hair). The supervisor/ manager said, "it's expired do you want to renew your card right now? I can do that." I said, "no it's not expired" I pulled out my phone showed him my membership number. He replied oh okay it's not expired?!...?? But you have to go to the membership desk to update your account." After showing them my membership wasn't expired it was an error on their end. And still wanted me to go. To the customer service desk. I was in a hurry and they still wanted me to go and wait in line again. I felt it was unprofessional how they handled the situation and how I was spoken to. The issue should've been easily resolved in a professional manner.I won't be returning to that costco again

When I first joined Costco, I thought I was making a great decision as a full-time doctoral student and educator. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have felt extremely overwhelming.Tire Center—Initial installation was flawed, air sipping from rim. Warranty still granted me a $95 fee for a replacement after facing tire trouble (constant flats and damage when commuting to Costco to put air in tire). The repair wait time: 10:15 AM to 3:00 PM. This was with a 10:30 AM appt in which I arrived 15 mins early.Membership Harassment—I am often treated as if I’m perceived not to have a membership. It feels isolating and quite stressful. For example, as I am waiting hours for Tire Center to call and confirm maintenance has completed, an employee locates and approaches me sitting in the food court area to tell me they needed to verify that I am a member. I inform him that I am a member and have been waiting for my car as I showed my membership at the door during my entry and when engaging with the Tire Center. He insists that my membership has to still be confirmed. I pull myself away from my emails/attempt at working while waiting hours to locate my membership card as requested. He looks at my card and walks off. No apologies for the misunderstanding or aggressiveness when approaching me waiting at the food court. No consideration for the discomfort and treatment.Frankly, this previous review sums up some of my sentiments:My recent encounters at the Costco warehouse have regrettably been overshadowed by an alarming trend that has significantly detracted from what is typically a positive shopping experience—the apparent escalation in the frequency and assertiveness of membership card verifications. While I fully appreciate the importance of maintaining the integrity of a members-only shopping environment, the manner in which this verification process is currently being implemented has become increasingly intrusive, to the point of feeling like harassment.What was once a routine check upon entry has evolved into a persistent and, at times, aggressive pursuit by Costco workers to validate membership cards. The extent of this checking has reached a level where it extends beyond ensuring the security of the store and becomes an unwelcome intrusion into the shopping experience. This not only disrupts the flow of the shopping trip but also fosters an environment of unease and suspicion between customers and the staff.While acknowledging the necessity of protecting the exclusivity of membership benefits, it is imperative for Costco to reevaluate the execution of its verification practices. The current approach risks alienating loyal customers and tarnishing the reputation of a brand known for its customer-centric values.Compounding this issue is the apparent lack of consistency and professionalism in the execution of these checks. Instances of confrontational or abrasive behavior by some workers further contribute to a negative perception and create an environment that is contrary to the welcoming atmosphere Costco has traditionally cultivated.Addressing this situation promptly is crucial not only for the satisfaction and comfort of customers but also for the overall reputation of the Costco brand. A thorough review of the current verification procedures, coupled with additional training for staff on the importance of positive customer interactions, is paramount. Striking a balance between security measures and preserving the friendly, inclusive atmosphere is key to upholding the trust and loyalty of the customer base.

This huge place is the best way to buy!Everyday you have new offers in all, technology, clothes, furniture, food and more, you need a membership to enter here (you can get in the place), available to all people for an annual amount, you need to show your ID when you go to enter, best prices here, I really recommend this wholesale.

Lena at receipt review (12/1 @ 1pm) on exit was rude and lazy. She didn’t bother to count my items and just claimed I had more in my cart than on my receipt. She was WRONG! Nevertheless she pulled me out of line. Told me to use cashier in future, not self checkout, if I didn’t want to be hassled!

For a place that's normally helpful, I was shocked to see the lady who was ringing my wife up, slamming our groceries into the cart because my wife didn't understand what she needed as far as which items to place on the belt. She asked for only the small items to be placed on the belt. It's Costco, there are no small items. My wife wasn't sure what the cut-off was. The lady proceeded to empty the cart, and slam all the items back into the cart.

The lady at the self checkout today gave me a hard time because my picture is not on my card, checked my ID and trued very hard to stop me from checking out ... ended up embarrassing herself when she found out i am the carholder and a member for over a decade. Earned the business a 1 star review. Simply horrible experience.

2 weeks ago I purchased a set of brand new tires from this location which saved me several hundred dollars in comparison to NTB for the exact same tires. Edwin was very helpful all 3 instances I returned to the tire center. He ordered the tires which came in a few short days later, booking an appointment was quick and easy and the day of installment it took 1 hr 15 mins just like Edwin said. Today I stopped by again because I recalled Edwin asking me to come in after 25 miles of driving but couldn’t remember why. He was again so helpful and reminded me of a torque check. He had me taken care of within minutes. Highly recommend this tire center!

Great costco, tire center was helpful and friendly. Gas station needs help with line management, only one entrance and it gets backed up which causes a ripple effect of traffic for the whole parking lot. In NJ where I am originally from we aren't allowed to pull around to the front pumps, you need to wait until all 3 pumps are clear and 3 more cars can proceed. It's super organized, it may take a minute longer but the overall wait is less. It would also help if the attendants directed people to the pumps further towards the back to reduce the bottleneck at the entrance.
