Dr. Kamei is absolutely wonderful, as is the staff. I trust her with all of my pets yearly dental cleanings as well their annual work ups. The other veterinarians and the staff have all been phenomenal as well! I highly recommend using this animal hospital if you want high quality care for your pets.

We’ve been bringing both of our girls to Belle Haven since each of their Gotcha Days (over 4 years)! Dr V is our main vet of choice but every doctor, vet tech & staff member have always made us feel welcome & well cared for. We’ve gone through, annuals, pups eating entire tubes of lotion, eating raisins, allergic reactions to bee stings & even getting in a last minute appointments.Last week they fit us in for a day of appointment to take a look at our eldest’s skin as she was itching a lot & we were about to leave town & didn’t want her uncomfortable while stuck at home with the dog sitter.Dr. Collings was so helpful & gave us everything we needed for the sitter & our pups.

I took my dog, Kola Bear, to Belle Haven for almost a decade and never had any problems, only wonderful experiences. They saw him from when he was a very active youngster to when he was a very old man, nearly 15. The vets are all great and outgoing. He had a cancerous tumor removed by Dr. Schutt which was so well done the tumor never came back. I totally believe this bought Kola a couple more years. I’ll always be grateful for the care the staff provided me during my pup’s life. He loved all the vets, and they loved him. The handwritten card from Dr. Lindig after Kola passed was very thoughtful and will be cherished. Thanks to all of you.

I’ve been bringing our dogs here and specifically to Dr Kamei for 10+ years. The entire practice is top notch and Dr Kamei is an excellent dr/surgeon and compassionate and patient to boot. I’ve been to other vets in the region but nobody comes close to the care my dogs get here. She never makes you feel rushed and often times when she’s following up it’s after hours and she apologizes for calling so late! Simply put, there is just nobody I trust more with the care of our beloved pups!

Our beloved cat was a patient of Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre…when she injured her paw and was crying in pain- I tried to make a same day appt but all they could give was one 5 days away. I had a hard time getting her seen by other Vets because she wasn’t their patient. BHAMC is a business not a caring Vet.

While it's nice that they have cats in the hospital for others to enjoy, both cats are overweight and one is really obese. This isn't a new thing either- these cats have been here for months and they did not mention to have them on a diet. Its a shame coming from a place to endorses healthy animals.

Very disappointed. Followed my first vet here 13 years ago. Was treated terribly today. Long story short- they are horrible communicators. In all honesty I did not react well to the situation but after being late by 20 minutes for the appointment, they wasted another 25 minutes of our time giving me the run around. When I finally lost my cool they made no effort to apologize or do anything to say that they could have done better. I was truly stunned by the level of arrogance and lack of empathy.The vets here may be competent and fine, but the lack of basic customer service skills among the staff is inexcusable. Maybe this is all we can expect from businesses today, but I need to move on. You should as well.

I recently attempted to take my dog to Belle Haven, hoping to provide the best care for my beloved pet. However, my experience was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. The clinic refused to accept new patients in need of care, displaying a concerning lack of compassion and commitment to animal welfare.When I called on 10/4/2023, the representative informed me that they were not accepting new patients at the moment, leaving me shocked and perplexed. It was disheartening to learn that a veterinary clinic, whose primary purpose is to serve and care for animals, would turn away those seeking help.My pet needed urgent medical attention, and I was under the impression that a reputable veterinary clinic would prioritize the well-being of animals above all else. However, the clinic's refusal to accept new patients demonstrated a lack of concern for the health and safety of animals in need. It raises serious ethical questions about their commitment to fulfilling their duty as caregivers for animals in distress.Furthermore, the lack of transparency regarding their patient acceptance policy is concerning. There was no mention of this policy on their website, leading to a waste of time and unnecessary frustration. A veterinary clinic should be forthcoming about their availability to accept new patients, avoiding misunderstandings and disappointment for prospective pet owners seeking essential care for their furry companions.In summary, my experience with Belle Haven was deeply disappointing and disheartening. Their refusal to accept new patients in need of medical attention reflects a lack of compassion and a disregard for the well-being of animals. I would strongly caution potential clients and pet owners to consider these factors before choosing this clinic for their pet's care.

All the doctors and staff at Belle Haven are truly caring professionals. I take my little dog, Annie, once a month to have her anal glands expressed and her nails clipped and always get prompt and excellent service. From the front desk staff to the veterinarians and everyone in between has been wonderful to both of our pets.We see Dr. Kamei and she is absolutely the best. I have been taking my dog, Wyatt, here for the past 2 years (since he was a puppy). He has gotten all of his vaccines here, was neutered here, and has gone here for any irritations/rashes/illnesses. We love all of the vets and vet techs here and have had nothing but great experiences!

Belle Haven used to be the best vet around. Unfortunately they have really gone down hill. The veterinarians are mostly fantastic and will provide top notch care... if you can get in with them that is. The newer front desk staff can be terribly difficult to work with. From mixing up prescriptions to taking an attitude with clients it's a very unpleasant experience. The senior desk staff are fantastic though! I'm not sure if the new hires weren't trained well or what. Just make sure you advocate for your pet if you feel you aren't being listened to because the younger vets have missed some pretty clear diagnoses with my pup. They will also cost gouge you. If you need a prescription printed be prepared to wait until the next day as they don't have adequate staff to efficiently sign a prescription. It's a real shame because its a fantastic facility with mostly wonderful staff and veterinarians.

I have been bringing my pets here for years. This is a wonderful clinic. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The waiting room is big, bright, and clean. I recently saw Dr. Connelly who is fairly new to the practice. She was exceptional and thorough. I don't think they are taking new patients right now, but when they do again, I recommend BHAMC without hesitation.
