I love this store because of the reasonable prices and fresh healthy produce that they sell. But my ONE pet peeve with this establishment. Is the cashiers❗, It appears that their trained to catapult your food from the conveyor belt into your cart❗😡. The time I take to picked my food that's what I want to pay for. And leave the store with. And some of the cashiers understand and readjust themselves. But this one she didn't she got a whole attitude👎👎. I was ready to walk away from everything ❗❗ I had to stop her from putting my avocados at the bottom of the cart.... my apples are buried underneath all that stuff.... I did speak to the manager.... But that cashier with her demeanor she didn't care. Too many of this kind of encounter I will stop patronizing and take my money elsewhere.

Since I first reviewed this Aldi almost a year ago, they've installed self-checkouts. It's been a huge help to reducing the checkout wait times. I do still end up in a line fairly often, but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be.

Aldi is German for NOT STOCKED, well it's the literal translation. It's the discount wild west of grocery stores, surrounded by 1.5 mil wannabe GSA 13ers. They have good things if they are in stock.

Great place for getting basic quality food staples with the best prices in the area compared to the competition. Now that Shoppers is gone, this is definitely the place to go for your day to day groceries. New self checkout lines are pretty easy to use and quicker than the previous system.

Aldi may not be a posh grocery buying experience but it is full of great products at great prices. I recommend it often, and it is where I go first to find the things I need for the week. If they don’t have something I need I’ll go somewhere else.

This is the closest Aldis to where I live in Rosslyn. Good selection of discount products on display. Tucked away in a little neighborhood, this is a medium sized store.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and received the worst customer service ever!!!! Before handing me my receipt and saying have a great day(wishful thinking) she immediately got on her phone and when I asked for a receipt she just tossed it at me.

worst experience. cashier rushing costumers as if next costumer has enough space to place their items on the conveyor belt. yelling to move up the line. on top of that, throwing produce into the cart and piling heavier stuff on top of fragile items. they need to train these cashiers. SMH

Nice employees. Understaffed. Rotten food. I have literally bought at least 5 salmon dinner pieces that were sour spoiled and had go in the trash. Probably about 50% odds of having to replace my dinner each time. Never again.

The store prices are great the only problem I have is the store manager she is super rude to her staff and customers. Seen her yell at staff for problems that are out of there control also if you have things on the store floor it should be for sale saying it’s not in the system and having a price tag on the item is not excuse

Because of the neighborhood, it tends to be a bit more expensive than other Aldi locations. Also oftentimes when I go there they only ever have one register open. It is however a clean store with ample parking.

This self-check out idea is going to be a nightmare if they don't have full service cashiers available. One cashier will basically be working multiple registers to compensate for people who don't know how to use the machine, want to return items, or run into a technical problem. WORST IDEA!!!

I’d say half the staff is nice and the other half is rude. Today, I was particularly annoyed when I asked the cashier if they did discounts on damaged items. She was beyond rude then said no with a snarky laugh. I’m sorry but you all do realize we can but an undamaged item for the same price at a different store right? The lines are usually insane but I deal with it because of the good prices. The produce is usually expired.

You should visit Aldi if you've never been. A typical Aldi might have 2000 items whereas a typical supermarket has over 20,000. That gives Aldi high turnover of inventory resulting in low prices. Their private label goods are excellent. Take your own bags or buy theirs.

Organic food prices are much better than some of the larger name brand stores however… the selections are limited. This a great store to pick up a few cheaper items but not a place that you can expect to get all of your groceries for the week. In order to get a shopping cart, it requires you insert a quarter. Great concept that helps with the returning of the carts but it was embarrassing when I didn’t have one. (Didn’t know this was a thing) Thankfully another customer mentioned that the store will provide one if you don’t have one.

I once loved this Aldi, I had to come back to change my 5 star review, it's been 7 months since said review.. things have changed. Cashiers are a joke. Rude like you wouldn't believe. There is one cashier that I like, I will get her name and update this when I do.. Anyhow, cashiers always yelling around at customers, throwing items into grocery cart as scanned. Never have any sort of decency or manners.. mind you I am a 24 year old young adult, that lives in a neighboring apartment. I'm not some ol Karen looking for everyone to treat me with happy hellos. When I tell you the staff at this Aldi are awful take my word for it. I will update this soon with names of staff I like and dislike.

Great prices! Great Quality! Definitely worth trying. I get most of my groceries here at a fraction of the cost. Stop by today in fact and got a dozen red Rose's for $9.99. The roses look as good $50.00 roses at the flower shop. Another great thing about Aldi is the beer and wine selection. Name brand beers and wines for a very reasonable price. To top it all off, checkout is very fast too.

Great quality meats and produce. Most packaged goods are generic, but the quality is as good as national brands. The best part is the prices are substantially lower than their competitors. The store is clean and orderly. There is plenty of free parking. What's not to like!

Often crowded, but super quick checkout (be ready to bag items yourself - and quickly! Their German business model at checkout is to keep the line moving as fast and as efficiently as possible... Us return shoppers know this and will express irritation if you deviate from the unpublished protocol). No other retailer that I know can beat their prices for the quality products they carry. This store is well-maintained and adequately stocked. Their meat selection, although small, is all fresh and priced beyond fair (even during this pandemic!).
