My stepkids were totally new to sewing and they had a blast in a private hand sewing lesson! After just a couple of hours, they left with multiple completed projects. They were so proud of themselves and want to do it again!

My 3 girls have all been lucky enough to join in the fun at Cupcakes and Lace over the last 5 or so years! It’s always something they look forward to and we have tried the private sewing lessons, camps, no school days, after school program, scout badges and we just keep coming back! We have done AG doll crafts, hand sewing and machine sewing- it’s all so cute and fun. The classes are well planned, on time, and the girls have always felt comfortable and cared for! I can’t say enough wonderful things!

My daughter attended two of their summer camps where she crafted furniture and SO many accessories for her American Girl dolls. They took time to teach her how to begin to hand stitch which she said was easy and fun. Getting into the car after each class, she said that this has sparked even more creativity in her. I highly recommend.

Cupcakes and Lace offers the best workshops and camps for girls of all ages. Both of my daughters have attended Girl Scout badge workshops as well as fun Non-Girl Scout camps. The events are well run and so creative! My girls have never been disappointed at Cupcakes and Lace! I would highly recommend them!

Devon was such a treat! I came in with limited sewing skill, and completed 6 projects in 3 sessions, with her expert guidance. I also found the music to be so calming while working. I’ll definitely be back for more lessons as I dive into this new hobby!

My 8 year old daughter took a duet private machine sewing lesson with her bestie and loved it so much!! Both girls have already asked when they can come back. I wasn't sure what to expect when I enrolled my daughter but when she came home and enthusiastically showed me what she sewed and told me in detail what she learned, I knew this wouldn't be the last of her sessions at Cupcake and Lace. Highly recommend you give a camp or class a try, you won’t be disappointed.

My daughter has done many camps and classes at Cupcakes and Lace. She completely LOVES them! Through C&L she has learned to hand sew and now is learning machine sewing too. What I like is that they use scraps and inexpensive materials that really helps bring out the girls imagination. I'm always amazed at how much they make in a class! Some classes even earn Girl Scout badges! Devon, the instructor, is also very good with the girls and very sweet. I highly recommend this place!

Cupcakes and Lace is great. We had them for our daughter's birthday party and the girls had so much fun. It was about 1,5 hrs of crafting, fun and full engagement of all kids. For me as a parent it was a peace of mind not having to deal with kids at all during the activity time. I highly recommend it.

My 7y/o daughter and I took a private “mommy and me” lesson. We had so much fun and we loved all of our sewing creations! Our instructor was so patient and knowledgeable. My daughter and I truly enjoyed this lesson and have decided we’d like to take a few more!

My daughter had her 10th birthday party at Cupcakes and Lace, it was a BIG hit! The girls all loved using the sewing machines to make emoji pillows. A few moms even told me that their girls now want a sewing machine for Christmas. Ms. K was incredible! She was very patient and sweet. The girls all loved her.

My daughter loved the July 4th themed camp. She used a sewing machine for the first time and made a skirt and plushie. The teachers were kind and helpful and she can't wait to go back and learn more!

This place is a little girl's dream come true -- from the decor to the adorable crafts. My daughter ( a first time seamstress) celebrated her 10th birthday here and it was perfect. Mrs. K is so great with the girls. They all loved their lesson and their project.

We had a puppy power stuffed animal crafting birthday party for my daughter who turned 7. She and her friends had a great time and loved the dog houses they made and all the cute accessories! Devon was great to work with and did a wonderful job with the kids!
