Went in to grab a cake for a co-worker's bday. I was able to find what I needed & get out in less than 10 mins. The service person in the bakery wasn't able to write on the cake for me, but provided me a really cute topper instead.

Helpful staff, though limited selection of products while Kroger tends to beat them on overall prices. No self checkout can make for really long lines in the evenings when only one register is open.

We go here each week and the staff is always great. They are at times shorthanded, and I'm not always happy with the meat selection but I feel that is a corporate issue.

It is always nice to go to FoodLion for a quick run-in to get a few things or just to do a big shopping. Every now and then, you find that one item that you weren't even looking for, but it's there. Thanks, FoodLion, for being there.

Hot bar is never ready at 11am. Usually 11:45-12. Which is misleading when the time frame is 11-2pm for the hot bar

Shawn your Chicken cooker is the most polite, friendly and personable employee that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. My 88 year old Mom loves Food Lion chicken and Shawn insures he always has fried chicken available. Treat him good because he's a keeper.

Very limited selection of store brand items, and every time I go there is at least 2 items that is on my list that they don’t have. Not to mention when I check out I’m lucky if all my bags are given to me. Twice now I have had to go back for things left that where not bagged. I usually bag my own groceries but when it’s only a few items the cashier grabs them and bags them right there in front of her register and puts them up for me to put in my cart. The produce section is so small at the Grafton location and compared to Kroger right down the street food lion is so much more expensive. Staff is usually nice but this location is terrible for selection of items.

Waaaay above average hot food bar. For most places, it's just various types of chicken wings, but this place has a bunch of different vegetarian options like fried rice, lo mein, and spring rolls. Plus some different chicken and beef dishes too. (Note that the disposable silverware is over by the sushi and potato salad)

Poorly staffed with long lines. Deli staff acted aloof, stockers (probably not FL staff) were rude and inconsiderate. Felt like I was in their way. Check out staff, Tabitha, was great, however. She deserves 5 stars.

This store is the worse. Bad lack of management. Never anything in stock. When a product runs out they remove tags,and then have several faces of one product and the tags that were removed don't get ordered again. This was even way before the pandemic. I don't guess the grocery manager or manager are doing daily scanning Probably should start at the district level and work your way down.

Even though the lines are sort of long they shrink them down drastically. The prices are reasonable for an amazing about. The deli where you can get your own slices of meat are also amazing as well in price! Honestly I would come here before Walmart

I visit this Foodlion multiple times a week due to the dance school and karate dojo. The staff here are friendly I have had good experiences here.

Although the store has a cheap feel and "seems" like it would be a thrifty place to shop, prices here are actually higher than Kroger. On specialty food items, like allergy-safe foods, Food Lion's prices are WELL ABOVE Whole Foods and Harris Teeter prices! We will only go here if we need to pick up a little something quickly, since it's nearby.

This is basically the only one I shop at because a lot of other stores have bad meats or no selection (this one actually had stuff when people went crazy over hoarding)... Post covid (South Park trademark) this location is my favorite. Never have I gotten food poisoning (unlike other grocery stores), employees have never been dismissive or anything of that nature. Good people, good store. If you have a bad experience worth noting. Just stop. This is being said from a real Chad calling you a "Karen". If you are upset that I used "Chad or Karen"..... You might be the problem. What do I know right?(the last question was rhetorical)

The people who work in the bakery here are amazing individuals. I'd ordered a cake, and accidentally dropped off the photo I wanted on the cake at the wrong food lion. One of them took the time to drive to the other food lion, and pick up the photo for me since I was unable to go and get it myself. Ya'll are the best!

Great sales with MVP card. Checkout belts are wiped down, employees wear masks, 6ft check point are on the floor for social distancing, partition between you and sales clerk. I feel very safe shopping there.

As far as grocery stores go, this one is usually very clean & pretty well stocked. The lines dont get very long unless its a holiday. The fresh fried chicken is always a good pick up for dinner.
