I have placed two online orders from the store on Denbigh in Yorktown. Both have been cancelled. The things I ordered showed that all items were in stock and plenty of them at that. So why is my orders canceled? Are the employees that lazy? I placed it last night and picked my pickup time to be between 3-4pm next day. That’s plenty of time! Now I’m having to head to the store to go isle by isle to get my items. Very frustrated and probably will not use Dollar General in the future.

What a wonderful place to get a bargain. From greeting cards to new bathroom towels, plastic containers, soap powder, etc. The sales lady was helpful to direct me to the placement of items I needed. I went into the store with 3 items & came out with 3 bags full.

Every time I've been in this store a couple of things have always stayed consistent; first, they have always looked like they are just moving in, lol, what I mean is there is always big wheeled stocking carts out, at least two or three, with anywhere from 2-4 or more employees stocking shelves with the goods on them. The store also looks on the "newish" side (although I know it's been there for years) because it is always so clean inspite of being relatively busy, or at least patrons coming in steadily throughout the day. Finally, let me say, I never been in any store in recent years that had a more helpful and friendly staff. For that courteousy, that is, the lost art of customer service, more than all of the above mentioned, I thank you!

I would give a 5 star i shop here all the time but wont come back after i went by today 3/16/22 around 11am with my 6 week old puppy to get her first collor as soon as i came thru the door the man refused service to us and said to leave never have i ever been turned down anywhere for bringing in a little puppy like that she can barely walk none the less do anything to your establishment

The store is improved with its organization of items & appearance. The staff has always been courteous & friendly. Some of the customers are not willing to help keep the neatness that the staff provide! So very happy to have Dollar General in Grafton, VA.

This is the nicest Dollar General I have ever been in. Super clean, friendly people, good selection and it didn't feel like things were going to fall over on you. Did I mention how clean the store is? It's a little out of my way. But worth the extra miles!

Nice,big with somewhat neatly organized shelves. Lady greeted us walking in and going out. I love to just browse so there is definetely enough stuff to look at!

This is usually the store I go to. Had one issue when I got home and noticed my donuts were expired. I let it slide... fast forward.... today bought a box of cakes and got home and they were hard. Looked at the expiration date and almost expired by six months. Went to get my money back and every box on the shelf were expired

It was outdated, and felt dirty. The staff was very friendly though. The process weren't great, Ross is better for decor and such and big lots better for snacks!

HORRIBLE NIGHT, MANAGER HAD A BAD ATTITUDE AND WAS RUNNING EVERYONE OUT AT 8:50PM WHEN CLOSING IS 9PM.
