So happy to have found this place. Very unique coffee drink specials - I tried 2 different ones. Outstanding biscuits with pimento cheese and pastry was absolutely scrumptious. Can’t wait to travel there again!Vegetarian options: Very accommodating for vegetarians

Absolute gem of Abingdon. Beautiful, tasteful, charming decor and atmosphere, complete with peaceful music. Excellent service (I forgot my to-go box and came back later, and they saved it!). The food itself was spectacular. Caffeine options diverse and high quality. Juice options aplenty. Interesting and classic alcoholic drink options. Seasonal specials make for a lovely autumn. The Girl and The Raven is doing everything right, with flair.

We stopped by midday for iced coffee and treats. We were so pleased with everything. I didn't know it was a restaurant as well, so next trip in to town, we will definitely be coming back. I love the brand image for so many reasons. You have to go in that place to witness how amazing everything is from the drinks to the vibe, the layout, the super kind, and helpful ppl working it truly are. If you're close, do NOT pass this place up. Thanks for the road trip treats

My favorite place to eat when I'm in the area.It may appear to be like a "tea" room but it is anything but finger sandwiches. Come hungry, you'll be very happy when you leave. My husband & I walked away FULL. The burger is not on the menu but ask for it. I will say it is The BEST burger we've had in a long time. My friends have had the chicken salad on lettuce, best they had...almost a great as mom's.My husband is a coffee drinker, he had three cups & could have enjoyed several more if it wasn't time for us to leave.Eating inside is a bit noisy but there are 3 separate indoor dining areas & a lovely outdoor patio area.Service was quick, pleasant & educated on the products being serviced.

What a great way to start the day in Abingdon. The latte was delicious, brekkie options were great and they can customize depending on what you like. The biscuit was probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had. They definitely go the extra mile service wise. We went two different days, and the owner greeted us both times. Prices are very reasonable, specially for the portion size. Food was as fresh as it gets. They have blue corn grits. This was our “fuel” breakfast to ride the Creeper Trail later on.Vegetarian options: Grits, toast, biscuit, avocado, beet almond milk latte.Parking: Plenty of spots and they have a drive through for coffee/pastries

This place is really lovely. We were able to sit outside for breakfast. Our server said she was fairly new and didn’t know all the baked treats, so she had another server explain them to us. I had the chai latte, cinnamon roll and a slice of quiche. Everything was very tasty. My friend had the coffee, roasted on site, and said it was really good and needed nothing added to it. She had the bacon cheddar scone and eggs and biscuit with sausage gravy and enjoyed those as well. It was a quiet Wednesday morning there and the food came out quickly and the service was great. I would definitely go back.

This place was awesome! We were in Bristol today and wanted breakfast. We had had a bad experience at Cracker Barrel so we decided to explore other options and drive up Lee Highway and found this place. So happy we did. We had Eggs, Bacon and Sausage and they were excellent! Also had Mocha and a Nutcracker Latte....OMG so delicious! Our new Favorite Place! And PS, our server was the sweetest!

So I’ve head about this place a good bit from friends and acquaintances about this place so It had been on my list to go to for a long time. The atmosphere is nice. Lots of wood and scenic Woodland paintings. Very upscale cottage core. It’s one of those places you can feel comfortable dressed up or down either way. Only gripe is that my 2 friends and I it was fairly warm, which was not great since we had stopped to cool down on the 85F day.Food was good. I had gotten the mother cluckin’ (chicken filet breaded and put between a homemade biscuit with pickles, and spicy honey) over all it was good, biscuit was buttery on the outside but also overcooked as the outside was a bit hard and not easy to bite through but a soft inside, honey and pickles where great, the chicken filet was bland and was being carried by the rest of it. Also tried some of the biscuits and gravy which was fantastic. Gravy has large pieces of sausage and is salted well. I also tried the lavender latte; definitely one of the better coffee’s I’ve had around this definitively not the best. Good subtle lavender flavor and a decent rich coffee, could benefit from a darker roast.Overall the experience was good. While this is not really a place I’d stop at frequently, it’s nice for a Sunday brunch or to bring a friend for out of town. More of a novelty place.

Stumbled on this place a couple of weeks ago, on the first day of their soft opening, and fell in love. It's a lovely, light-filled space in an old Victorian house, full of artwork and beautiful plants. We had great coffee and fresh, healthy breakfasts, and picked up a couple of delicious cookies for the road. Service was friendly and efficient. The dishes we had (avocado toast, and grits with melted leeks and ham) were comforting and filling, without being heavy or greasy.Highly recommend!

Great spot!!! We're in town for the Yeti 100 and glad we stopped here to eat. I got the Mocha coffee and it was amazing! I love having healthy options when I'm traveling. This coffee bar has so much character. It's a MUST GO TO if you're in the area. (Hugh even caught me taking pics. See if you can find him.) 😁

Such an adorable spot! We sat out on the patio, and our server was lovely. The drinks were fun and tasty, and we loved the soup and grilled cheese specials! Got some coffee to-go, and it was perfect. Reasonably priced, and the parking lot was very convenient.Super happy we stopped in. Ask about the daily specials!Parking: Decent sized lot on property and a dedicated, large lot less than a block down, across the street.

It may look like your average local coffee shop, but The Girl & The Raven is anything but. This gorgeous establishment has tremendous coffee, lunch, and dinner. As a visitor from Washington, DC this place holds a fond place in my heart. The staff is attentive, the food is served quickly, and you leave with new sets of friends (Hugh, the owner). I ordered the Brussel sprouts, a cocktail, wine, and fresh-pressed juice. By the end of the meal, I was already planning my next visit.

Perhaps the best coffee house I’ve ever been to! They roast their beans perfectly and serve up a delicious array of specialty coffees, lattes and more. Wonderful selection of pastries, scones, muffins. Great ambiance.

We loved this eclectic little place!! We had a fantastic breakfast and great coffee as well. We will be back, for sure! Our server was fast and friendly as well, and that is ALWAYS a huge plus!! A bad server can make the best places miserable. Thank you for such a neat place with such a cool name!!Parking: There is ample parking for the shop. No problems whatsoever when we were there.

We're not from around here (traveling from Texas). Outstanding menu of foods and coffees! My kids cannot have gluten or dairy and they were able choose any item on the menu and they would adjust for their dietary restrictions. I cannot tell you how amazing a find this has been. My kids both had the Hungry Savage (chicken & bacon sandwich) and a decaf Mocha made with almond milk. I got a Flat White coffee. They've been open less than a year and given the amount of customers I saw they are going very strong (one of them who is here most days told me everything is good here). Also they have friendly, knowledgeable and conscientious staff and we got to meet the owners too who are quite personable and friendly!

Went for brunch on a Saturday in December with a party of 5. After a short wait, they gave us a premium seat in front of a festively decorated mantle. The food was great, the atmosphere delightful and unique, and the staff friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend. Their outdoor seating looks fun too including a woodburning fire pit.Parking: There's quite a bit of parking at the restaurant, but it seems to be quite popular. I parked in the overflow parking just a short walk away.

Went for breakfast before work a few weeks ago and was probably my favorite breakfast of all time. The chef’s special was a blueberry compote french toast, and had lemon zest and cream. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this dish. Everything was perfectly done and no element overpowered any part of the dish.If this dish ever comes back, MAKE SURE to get it!

I am always on the search for real coffee as an Australian on a road trip, missing the coffee culture of Sydney . The Girl & The Raven has great coffee and a good selection of breakfast and lunch choices. I appreciated watching the Staff wiping down tables diligently with wipes and the premises and bathrooms were spotless . I had an iconic Aussi Avocado Smash and my husband enjoy a more local breakfast of sausage, grits and biscuit. Thank you Erica for excellent and professional service with a smile.
