Well, not much good to say. No bugs, no problem with the bed. It was comfortable.The air/heater was very noisy, and kept cutting out and restarting moment later. The ice maker was broke. The toilet had a chunk out of it and was cracked. The safe fell off the wall, we got charged 1.50 for it, but will be refunded. There was a missing pillow case on the beds pillow, but we got one from the front desk. And the phone didn't seem to be connected. But still it would be safe to stay here, the front desk clerk was very friendly, nothing can be blamed on her so I won't do that. Breakfast was OK.

Hotel needs a big update. Parking lot was full of trash and what appeared to be homeless people as they asked us for money and then went to the back of the hotel in the dark. Strong smell when you walked in the lobby. Room was dirty, hair in the tub and on the towels. Bed was very lumpy and we could hear everything that happened in the rooms around us as if they were in the room with us.

The bathroom is rusty, the mirror is old and rusty, the place has a rundown feel. The room was freezing when we arrived.The toilet seat was up as if someone had used it. The microwave door is broken. There was an old gum wrapper on the chair. Wyndham you are failing badly on theses southern motels. This is #4 out of 6 we had to use on our move north this winter, 2024. Bad job, WyndhamGet it together or close up shop.

The best thing I can say is that the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was dirty, run down, no pillow case on one pillow, half roll of toilet paper for 2 night stay. We didn't use the quilt because it was dirty appearing and smelly. Cannot describe the hotel with any of the adjectives listed below.Nearby activities: Lovely area

We stayed there last Saturday night. The lady was very friendly but our toilet in our room didn't work. I tried letting them know about the situation. But no response. They should have given me some of my money back.. but they didn't even offer..I mean when you pay hotel fees you expect everything to be working in the room. Especially the toilet..

Not badThe staff was very friendly. Rooms were updated and clean and recently remodeled. The place is right off the highway and safe.On the negative side, one bed sheet had a stain and the towels were cheap/thin and a bit dingy rather than white. I don't like they weren't washed or clean, but perception is everything. If they'd fix those two issues, it would be a good hotel. I'll also note that our first floor window would not lock, but it didn't open without a big fight, so it wasn't a concern.

It’s a SCAM! I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. It was the worst experience of my life. The room was filthy, with stains on the sheets, dust on the furniture, and mold in the bathroom. The smell was unbearable. I checked out after two minutes and asked for a refund, but they refused. They offered me another room, but it was just as bad. I felt like I was in a horror movie. This hotel is a health hazard and should be shut down. Do not waste your money or risk your health by staying here.

I stayed here in July/23 ... checked in around 10pm, left by midnight. It was just too disgusting. AC did not work, room smelled of urine, Bed linens were awful, flea infestation, I think the whole building was infested. They wouldn't issue a refund, my CC company wass unable to win my dispute either. Absolutely disgusting place.

We booked a hotel room on 7/27/2023 for one night at the Super 8 in Abington Virginia. The room was dirty, the window didn’t lock and the air conditioner wasn’t working. We were on the ground floor and worried for our safety. We complained and were moved to another room. This room was also dirty, the windows didn’t lock and the tv didn’t work. We complained and they wouldn’t move us again.We purchased our own cleaning supplies and disinfected everything we could. The towels and bedding were dirty and we were extremely uncomfortable!They advertise as handicap accessible and pet friendly with no mention of a fee. We booked a pet friendly room and weren’t informed of a fee until we checked in. They charged an extra $15 for my 5 lb Yorkie.My wife is disabled and uses liquid oxygen. It was difficult to maneuver the 100 lb. tank into the room because there were stairs to get to the first floor hallway. We will never stay in this disgusting hotel again!On top of that, they have charged my credit card multiple times for the one night stay!Rooms: Dirty room and towels and bedding! Nasty! Says pet friendly but charge extra $15 for pet!Safety: Not safe! Windows don’t lock!Walkability: Supposed to be handicap accessible but has steps to get to first floor and no elevator!Food & drinks: Supposed to have breakfast but what they offer is a waffle if they have batter and maybe a very small muffin.

Way over charged, due to the race this week end. There was mold in the bathroom, tub, behind the toilet and ceiling, mold on the ice machine tray. We had to ask for a new toilet seat that was not properly bolted The hotel was not even full so the price gouging was not even justified!I'll never stay at a Super 8 again!!!

We Came in we were watching tv the tv turned pink the door to go straight to the room waslocked tv didn’t work no elevator you had to walk upstairs and carry luggage suitcases upstairs I was looking around for the elevator I was like they anit got a elevator we have to walk upstairs and also we had to carry luggage downstairs and suitcase downstairs Continental breakfast was small coffee tasted like it was out of date vending machine didn’t work even know they didn’t have a pool it still smelled like Coren down stairs at continental breakfast tv was 8 years old worker couldn’t help us in the middle of the night we called service number didn’t work i know this hotel was bullied in 1989 in the 1980s about to be 1990 the 1990s I know that was 30 years ago I wouldn’t stay here again tv turned pink it had the pink screen problem gumball machine didn’t work well I didn’t get to use it bad hotel I would not think you have a good idea staying here it’s a bad idea to stay here no pool no fitness center no market yes continental breakfast I will never stay here again no hot tub I forgot to say I stay 2 nights for the robcon tournament at the hird education center and collage 8pm to 6am staff not so nice 6am to 8pm staff nice great but a quick drive and walk to Starbucks food city pals Pizza Hut little Chesers old g2k old Kmart old food city Mexican restaurant shoneys I mean fiddles restaurant swirl healing waters counseling center if you had an appointment wheill your there Goodman Jewelry place if you need it wheill you’re there old Pizza Hut McDonald’s with McDonald’s playplace witch is good for some kids that you’re beside a playground and captain ds by

Cockroaches cockroaches cockroaches. Nasty dirty room. I’ve been a Wyndham rewards member a few years and know you can’t expect much but this place is the worst. Remote for tv didn’t work, no stopper in the sink or bathtub, floor needed mopped.Food & drinks: The hotel had cockroaches so I was afraid to eat breakfast or get coffee.Noteworthy details: The place needs exterminated and remodeled.

Exactly what you'd expect for the price, but quieter and in a good location. Rooms are clean and spacious enough, but dated and some furniture stained. Not a big deal if you just want a cool room and comfy bed to spend the night. There was ample hot water and good pressure for showers. Pet- friendly is a big plus. When you check in you see the array of security cameras in and around the facility. Despite having this information, no one runs off the sketchy folks hanging out at the back entry, waiting to get in when you leave, or the groups smoking directly under the no smoking signs. That said, the non-smoking room was definitely kept smoke free. Close to everything you need.

Highly recommended. Super kind and polite people. My daughter and I stayed for 2 days plus my little dog. The room was very clean and I loved the flooring. Very glad to see it was't carpet since my daughter and I have allergies. The girl that cleaned our room did a very good job. If we needed anything all we had to do is ask and got it in a timely manner. In my opinion when a cleaning girl is as polite, kind, and hard working as the one we had should get a tip. I gave her one and was glad to do it. Those jobs aren't easy. I would stay there again.

Was nice area and room. Can tell building is older. With exception of handicap room all rooms are accessed inside building up stairs. Clean rooms. No bugs. Great staffSafety: Felt very secure. Even thou my room was only exterior access.

We were extremely happy with our stay here. Neil and Divya do an excellent job of running this place. We stayed for 4 nights. Our room was extremely clean, we got anything we needed as soon as we asked. They even allowed us to lock up our bikes in their back room when we didn't need it. The cleaning ladies were so nice and did a great job. No carpet so that was a great especially with kids. Will definitely stay here again.

Bathroom door had a hole in it from someone being angry I guess, bathtub filled up with water from poor drainage during shower, and smelt like smoke even tho none smoking room requested. Comforter had cigarette burns in it too. Overall, I'm cool with all of it because it was a great price! People at the front desk were cool and the coffee in the front was really good! Just tough it out and save a few bucks 😉 snacks available at the front for breakfast too

The gentleman at the front desk was horrible. No one was allowed in at all. I tried to meet my brother and take him some money for the trip he was taking and I was told no guests were allowed in a very hateful way. He then told me to go outside. I asked if I could wait for my brother inside because it was the middle of December and freezing outside and he said no I would wait outside. I honestly cannot believe they get any business here with this guy at their front desk! Whoever owns this establishment needs to talk to this employee about being empathetic, friendly, and how to be a decent person in life period.

Disgusting. We were checked in to a disgusting dirty room. Ask a new room, it was as disgusting. Hair, blood, phlegm, dust, dirt, rust, old. We ran away and got a new hotel. I swear on God. I haven't seen such a disgusting room before. Stay away.

1) The room was clean.2) The room and hotel felt safe3) The room was hotter than it was outside, probably 100 degrees when we walked in. The AC finally got it to 75 when we were leaving in the morning. It was hot all night.4) The bed was soft (I found that terribly uncomfortable but others might love it)5) There was no breakfast. It’s a “choice of breakfast item”. They offered a yogurt and a ding-dong, apple juice, orange juice and coffee.6) There were plenty of outlets7) We paid $100 for one night when surrounding hotels were $65-75.Conclusion, I usually stay at the cheapest motels and am just as happy there as I was here. It’s a trade off, you can walk around barefoot here and take a bath without worrying about what’s in the tub. Bubba with the truck doesn’t live here. On the flip side, you don’t get any real breakfast, the AC sucked and it cost $35 more than sleeping in a dirtier room next to Bubba’s.

It was good enough to get some sleep but nothing in our room worked and the water pressure is very low. No hair dryer was in the room for my fiance. I'm sure some rooms are better than others but it's good enough for sleep if that's all you want from it.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I called and spoke with the booking line, let them know I needed a pet friendly room. They booked me saying there was one available. I get to the hotel and there are no pet rooms available and the manager slaps down some hand written policy about pets not being allowed. This is after the booking agent called to make sure they had one available. On the parent companies website it stated that pets were allowed at all their hotels. Stay away from this hotel if you don’t want to be out your money and no place to stay.
