Melissa was so extremely helpful at Jamie’s office. I was needing a new State Farm agent in Virginia while transitioning policies from our previous state. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Took care of what I needed within a remarkably short amount of time and was attentive to my needs and helping me understand the differences in coverage from my state to VA. On my first call, they answered the phone promptly and had me taken care of in short order! I would highly recommend others in the future to this office and already have!

Jamie Barger State Farm Agency is great! Melissa and Lisa were both extremely helpful, answering all my questions and guiding me to get the best policies for my home and autos. Of the four insurance agencies I compared, this was by far the most reasonably priced for comparable coverage. Great service by friendly, helpful agents at a the best price. What more could you want? I have been with this insurance company for many years and moved across many different states. There has never been an office, which I have come across that run this efficiently. Miranda is exceptional. She has assisted in so many ways including pulling out of state policies, billing, renewals. I can't say enough wonderful things about Miranda! She is the only ins agent I have ever liked, she is helpful, gives great advice, goes above & beyond to help you find a good & fair rate, she's extremely nice & kind (& she truly means it). I have Not complained once since I became her/y'alls client & trust me that is unheard of with me. I've always said ins is a rip off but not once have I even thought that since I've met Miranda.I recently told a friend to come see Miranda cause I felt for sure she get her a better deal on 3 vehicles & of coarse she did & also found out her other ins Co. Was Not doing what she thought they were. Im very thankful that we came by that day & my friend took a policy out & because of Miranda her mother will soon be a client.I adore her. LISA WAS AWESOME! Our former homeowners insurance company just stopped doing business in Virginia, and we were left looking for another company. My plan was to call several agencies for quotes. Due to my work and workload, I was not looking forward to taking the time during business hours to handle this.When I contacted Jamie Barger's office in Abingdon, I was connected to Lisa L.  She took the time to get the information and produced a quote in just a few minutes that was 200K more in coverage and 2K less in price than another local agency had quoted me.I had been planning on consolidating our auto as well, and once we finished with the homeowners, she gave a quote on auto insurance that was over $1,000 a year less than our current (well, now former) company.Lisa was prompt and professional. Within an hour, she consolidated all of my insurances with State Farm. Lisa made this task, which I was not looking forward to, very stress-free.I would also like to add that we contacted a different "farm" company in Abingdon, and it took 4 calls over the course of a week and a half to get a quote from that bureau. When we finally got the quote, it ended up being triple what our former agency charged.
