Very slow line they were out of my medicine for a week and instead of telling me they were out they gave roundabout excuses. Wouldn’t transfer my medication to a pharmacy with my medication because they said it was a narcotic it is not it is a controlled substance.

Let me first clarify that this one star isn’t really about me. My personal experience was great. However, if I can hear the pharmacist talking bad about a difficult customer someone just had on the phone, so can everyone else. I was here December 1st and heard a lady speaking with someone on the phone about her prescriptions and you could tell she was trying to be helpful and the person on the other end wasn’t hearing it. I don’t know what the situation was because it’s none of my business. After the call, the woman quietly speaks with a man that I assume is the pharmacist because she went to him and not someone else about medication questions. She was quiet, but he says where everyone can hear quite clearly “Well the first time she called and threw a fit over” I will leave out the rest because it’s not my place to announce to people what medications someone else is taking and I thought it was just basic HIPPA knowledge that you don’t speak about peoples medical business but I guess if you don’t say a name it’s cool. Except it’s been 11 days and I can still hear him in my head. It’s a bit bothersome. I’ve worked in the medical field and I know patients can be a real pain, but your job is your job and part of that job is privacy. It’s no secret that medical workers exchange horror stories and break HIPPA laws all the time behind closed doors, but dang dude, there was no attempt to be professional. I felt so bad that I wanted to talk to the woman and try to help her.

This particular CVS Pharmacy is the slowest ever. I called to check on a prescription, antibiotic eye drops, after the prescriber called it in over 2 hours prior. Tried using the automated phone system and after trying 4 times, I called the pharmacy itself. After being on hold just under 13 minutes, my call was answered by what sounded like a young female. Told her I was checking on the status of my prescription. Information given to her and she asked, “when do you want to pick this up?”I told her ASAP. She said ok, you can come and get it. I ask if it was ready and she said it would be by the time I got there. Then I told her that the automated system wasn’t working, that I tried 4 different times, so I called and was on hold for almost 13 minutes. She said in give a snippy, smug voice “well we are very busy”. After the attitude, I did say maybe I should consider another pharmacy if you all are so overwhelmed, and at some point she hung up on me. Not professional for a business busy or not. Not even an apology for the wait.

Probably the worst, slowest, CVS pharmacy I've ever personally used. If they tell you 15 minutes, add an hour. If they tell you an hour add 2 more hours. If I didn't have all my prescriptions with a former CVS (which was really good) I would switch to a different pharmacy . The staff is nice at least but that's it.
