Very nice shop for all home needs. We were visiting VT and had went around , and mostly all shops close early. This one was open and was awesome … lots of parking and nice stuff available. Nice customer service and quick billing . Way to go !

Great for a quick shopping trip while in Woodstock. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. It's only open until 8pm most nights. It has a great small town feel, which shouldn't be surprising seeing as it's in small town Vermont.

Really didn't like it there? It seemed like some of the workers did not want to work when I got up to the cash register the woman of Eve and asked me if I wanted. Back I waited for 5 minutes for her to do it. Then she says it would take me 10 centes for a bag.that was brown paper bag

Well stocked store for the area. But the employees definately don't seem to want to be there, expecially in the deli. Kind of get the feeling like you are inconvieniencing the employees and the are doing you a favor by helping you. Look, if I was allowed to slice my own meats and cheeses I would, but I can't. If it wasn't the only actual boars head deli I wouldn't shop here.

Good selections for breakfast pastries and lunch, including soups. Good quality and convenience, at a price. But that's Woodstock. If you're passing through and stop, your exposure is limited. If you live in the area, you get used to it or travel to better afford what you need.

Rude clerks and management. Always a waiting line, but that's to be expected from such a small facility. But I mean, by God.....please hire some folks who actually act like they enjoy their job! They have decent sales weekly, kinda outrageous prices on regular items, I will say that they have a decent assortment of specialty and local products. But the lackluster customer service just kills it for me, and my girlfriend who agrees that after countless times of being disappointed, we will now be taking our business elsewhere. Prices are way 'worse' at the farmers market, but at least the service is friendly, and most everything is local and fresh.

We loved shopping at this store while we were in town. You stick to what is on sale and your bill should be as much as you usually spend. Great selection given that it's a small store. I rarely waited in line to check out which is especially helpful when I shop with my 3 small kids. Love all the local goods available there.

So glad for Mac's. Super handy for someone who doesn't want to drive to NH regularly for groceries. Good selection, somewhat pricey, but worth it for the convenience. That said, I wish there were more gluten free options!

They've recently remodeled and have more menu options in their cafe. Seating in the rear of the store so you aren't on display for other customers, since it is a convenience store. Great wine and beer selection. Tons of coffee options!

The best part about Macs is the friendly staff that work there from produce to cashier's everyone is always polite, helpful and friendly. There is a great food selection as well as a large assortment of local Vermont micro brews. I come to Macs almost every day for lunch and they always have the right food for my mood, whether it's hot soup and hot food, or a lighter salad from the salad bar or even so fresh California rolls. I've yet to be disspointed!

Small grocery store. Get there early for their breakfast sandwiches!!! Yum!! Typically, they are “okay” but these are delicious! They have all the essentials plus some yummy products that I have not seen in other grocery stores. Homemade peach muffin is amazing! The hot fried chicken is delicious. Pickled eggs, pickled ham hock, Vermont sausage, maple candies... definitely agree with other reviews this store is expensive! But very convenient, and not any different than gas station prices.

Lived in Woodstock for 12 years. The owners have made zero investments in the store. It shows. The crumbling entry way, the broken shopping carts. The faded linoleum and bad lighting. The one visable investment has been the low end scanners that work sporadically. That investment has actually worsened the customer experience dramatically. Folks with skin in the game should ask. Why can't we hire workers? What type of opportunity do we offer? Candidly, in the 12 years I've had to use Mac's i've never met or seen the owners. In a small town, to have zero community involvement by owners of such a prominent business is deplorable. Missed opportunity for sure.

Good place to stop for a quick item or two. However, being local, prices are extremely higher compared to supermarkets that are a drive to. 4 stars because of prices. Not a store designed for locals, only tourists.

Decent selection for a smaller grocery store, 4 🌟 because the prices can be a bit high on certain items. Staff is friendly. Avoid around 5pm though, gets very busy.

A lot of Vermont's own products... very tempted to buy everything Vermont. It's like going back in the past, before globalization happened, ie Walmart, local grocery stores. BUT it came with somewhat price tag that was slightly uncomfortable. All good though. When ib Vermont, do what Vertmonians does.
