Small shop but the best part is the studio in which you can go inside and converse with any of the 12 pottery makers. Very educational.

Very nice place! I got a quick lesson with the artists and they showed us how they make pottery. I really like all the items. The store is clean and totally friendly staff. The place has nice parking also. They have these floor mats that are totally cool!

We did a wheel workshop with Ellie and Izzy during our honeymoon trip - they were incredible! We had so much fun learning from them. They were both amazingly patient and kind… and of course, helpful! It was the perfect way to celebrate.We also got to chat with two of the people working in the store - they both made us feel like we were visiting a friend’s house!Thank you all for making our honeymoon trip so special!!

Definitely a bucket list experience!!!!! I’m a huge fan of Farmhouse Pottery & attending their workshop was such a treat! My husband who typically prefers to be on a golf course agreed to join me & John was such a good & patient instructor that when we were done, he said multiple times how much fun he had!!!

This was the most intimate experience. The staff were amazing! They were patient, kind and had such a positive attitude. You could tell they loved what they do and are passionate about making pottery. I wish the experience was longer! My husband and I had a blast. We would totally visit again.

I booked the Wheel Workshop with my partner for her birthday. I made a spoon holder; she made a bowl. There were a number of things that made this workshop standout.The atmosphere - our session was in their live workshop. 4-5 potters were actively working while we were participating.The people - shoutout Izzy!!! And the rest of the team. Izzy was an incredible teacher, and the rest of the potters were kind and engaging, even though we were actively in their workspace on a Wednesday afternoon.The experience - we were given a ‘day in the life of a potter’ overview, were given a live demonstration with tips, clear options for what we could make, +++wine and cheese :)Thank you Farmhouse!

I cannot sing enough praises about Farmhouse Pottery and their one-of-a-kind artisan pieces. From their Silo dinner plates to their pantry candlesticks to their mouth-blown tea lights, we have gotten so many compliments about a recent tablescape we designed using their tabletop elements. The quality of each item is so good you can feel it… we basically want to buy their entire inventory now :)

The pottery workshop was wonderful! We had fun making what are going to be our baking dishes. It was not too difficult, with plenty of assistance. I originally wanted to make a fluted edge, but decided I liked the bead rim on top of my bowl. Even my husband had a good time-he originally was coming because I wanted to do this. I definitely want to come back and do this again! The price is worth it for these wonderful handmade pieces!

Farmhouse’s unique selections make a great addition in my home. They really add a handcrafted feel. The pieces are quality, the Woodstock team is very friendly and helpful. I especially like their mugs and pitchers. You can watch the potters at work in the studio, it’s peaceful and an upfront personal look at their products. If you’re in the area and yearning for an upgrade, I highly recommend checking their flagship store out.

Bought a garlic grater from this place. I used it once to grate a single piece of garlic to see how it works. I was not satisfied with the results so I thoroughly washed it and meticulously packed it and returned it back in a timely manner. They looked under a magnifying glass I believe and messaged me back that since it was used money would not be refunded and neither would they give a merchandise credit. Penalty for grating a single clove of garlic?? How do you know if the appliance works well unless you barely and sparingly use it. No scratch or damage was done to the garlic grater but since they found a garlic speck under a microscope the merchant refused to take it back. I would not recommend this place.

We purchased a wheel class for our 21st Wedding Anniversary, which was on 9/28/23 but attended the class on Saturday 10/7/23.We had an amazing experience!!! Our instructor ( unfortunately I can't remember his name) was so pleasant and he really took the time with us to help us create an amazing piece of pottery that we would cherish forever. Thank You! My friend and I had planned to attend the wheel workshop for sometime, and finally got to go! It was one of the most delightful activities that I have ever done -- and appropriate to play with wet clay in Vermont's mud season. :) While a bit spendy, it's worth every penny. We learned how to center our clay, use the wheel, and made an actual item that we could both be proud of. Our instructor was super patient, funny and kind. As an added bonus, you get a discount to use in the shop after.

The pottery is high quality and great looking. Makes for a great gift. I’m not sure what everyone is talking about with poor customer service because it was exceptional the day I was there. The person working was very accommodating with wrapping our purchases and multiple payment methods.
