We visited the store 3 times whilst staying in Vermont for 4 days. (Visiting from 🇦🇺 Australia) This gift shop had a little bit of everything, and had such a wonderful positive and fun vibe. Staff were friendly and we were greeted and thanked each time we popped in. We bought a couple of items each visit to bring home. There was so much more we wanted to buy but our suitcase weight for travelling home wouldn’t allow for much more. Can’t wait to visit when we come back in a few years time.

by far my FAVORITE and go-to gift shop in the area!! whenever i need to buy a card or small gift, i simply go here. i couldn't love it more. really cute glassware, candles, mugs, stickers, cards, and more! you're absolutely bound to find something you love here and i'll always advocate for/support this local business! :)

For the Super Bowl I had Swifties over and wanted to get some prizes for the winner of Bingo, and I knew Golden Hour was the right place! They even put it in a nice bag with paper after I explained what I was doing. I love chatting with everyone who works there!

We love Golden Hour! It’s our first stop for teacher gifts or just to see what is new on the shelves! My 10yo is always glad there’s some TSwift stuff in there, my 12yo boy giggles at the mugs, and my 6yo demands we get teacher gifts there!So glad to have a location in colchester for our gifting needs!

If you care about the ethics and impact of the money you spend then you should 10,000 shop here.Wonderful staff, the cutest products they support local and small artisans.If your a proud feminist or someone who engages with human rights/social justice activism or environmental activism hands down you will love this store.They are my always my first stop when I am looking for gifts for personal or professional settings. I would give yourself a budget before going in but you also don’t have to feel guilty about going over since they are an ethical business. They also have an easy to use website if you aren’t local and want to support them.I always get compliments when people get or see things I have purchased there.

I adore Birdfolk Collective! They have something for everyone: great cards and stickers for sending some sweet snail mail, plants, prints, chatchkes--I could go on! It's such a colorful space, and everyone is so friendly. I recently purchased a plant & planter from their Instagram flash sale, and it was delivered safely and sweetly to my apartment.

This is exactly the kind of shop I love spending time in. Birdfolk Collective, located in the historic old Winooski Block mill building, is filled with lots of unique, smart, and fun stuff for men, women, and kids. It has a wide array of local crafted items like wallets, state-shaped magnets, wall-mounted bottle openers, and other fun things both locally themed and not. After browsing around for a little while, we ended up buying a Winooski ("The Onion City!") shirt, fun stationary, and a New Jersey-shaped magnet with a heart shape cut out of it. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely come back here every once in a while to see what's new or to get a really rad gift for a friend.

Despite the disruptions created by the COVID-19 pandemic, Birdfolk has managed to maintain the store website while hosting sales on Instagram. The pick-up process has worked smoothly and my interactions with store workers have always been pleasant.
