I wanted to say that I have been going to my local Aubuchon hardware in Windsor vt. I try to buy local when I can. As owner and operator of a painting Merrill painting it’s important to have a working relationship with the people who prepare the finish product you will be using. Renee, Steve and a couple new hires really have that place running very smoothly. Always met with a smile and eagerness of there new hire manager of the paint department makes it very easy to stop and drop a quick order. Keep up the good work. And Carl the young older guy is the nicest man on the planet.

Just was at this store for pellets for heat . Stood at counter for five min and got no service. Door bell worked said hello loudly and still no service. So I ended up at home depot I. West Lebanon. I was buying pellets at this store every week but now going to just go the home depot so I don't waste my time or gas .

I've been a customer since my husband and I moved to Windsor in 2008, and every time I've stopped in for something, the employees have been 100% + helpful and courteous. Without exception. Thanks to all who have worked there in the past and are working there now.

When the website was not crediting my coupon code properly, the store was quick to take my phone call and offer to take care of it in person. I arrived to find the items set aside by the register, the clerk took my credit card, had me show the coupon on my phone to scan, and I was done, with the proper credit. Couldn't have been easier (since I had already selected the items I wanted in the website, so had the product SKU's when they asked for them on the phone, and would have picked up the items in person in any case, as it's nearby)

Had an unfortunate experience at the Windsor store last week when a manhole cover in the parking lot opened up, creating a very dangerous situation. Ran into this store to ask clerk Steve for help and was met with a solidly apathetic response and unwillingness to even place an old shopping basket near the hole to prevent someone from falling/driving in. Yikes-- so much for community concern. Will avoid this store based on this representation of lack of concern for others. Happy to support the Aubuchon brand elsewhere!

I always enjoy going to the Aubuchon hardware store in Windsor. They almost always have exactly what I need and know where to find it in the store. The store is not huge and I feel more comfortable looking for things in a smaller space.

This is a rather tiny local hardware, paint, gardening and DIY Home Repair Store. However, the staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever I have gone in looking for something, and just have been unable to locate it either amongst all of the over-crowded shelves. Sometimes, I'll have searched for an item in all the other local stores, and decide to check there before I give up entirely only to find out that they have had it all along. Never be afraid to ask the staff for help in locating an item that you may be looking for. They are always helpful, and often seem to find exactly what you've just looked all over the store for in a matter of seconds.
