An updated, modern, exceptionally clean twist on a classic! The rooms are beautifully renovated and spacious, with terrific features and gorgeous marble-accented bathrooms. The location can't be beat and the staff are incredibly helpful. Terrific value and a pleasurable setting for a great long weekend skiing at Mt Snow or touring southern Vermont.

James made everything very easy with checking in and out the stay was very calm and nice. Perfect location right in the little Town of Wilmington with Restaurants and shopping and 15 minutes from Mount Snow. Would Definitely recommend for a nice getaway and will definitely stay again.Rooms: Room was clean very cute and comfortableNearby activities: Mt snow and I believe a huge lake for summer activitiesSafety: Felt very safeWalkability: Can walk to anything in townFood & drinks: Cute little restaurants in town def recommend the dot for Breakfast and La Casita (Mexican) for dinner

Wow! If you want to sleep be sure to bring your noise cancelling headphones. I can hear and literally feel every vehicle that drives by. The room literally shakes when a truck goes by. I did not realize the hotel is located directly on a main road. The road noise is so loud!! Never experienced something like this before. I will say the room is clean and very nice but road noise is really hard to get over.

I stayed at the Vermont House during a trip to Wilmington Vt.The owners are extremely helpful and very friendly.The inn itself is in the perfect location directly in the center of Wilmington Vt. The rooms are very comfortable and thoroughly cleaned.The property is located next to great restaurants and local shops to explore.I definitely recommend staying at the inn.

We checked in late and checked out early on our one-night stay, but the host provided great instructions for the entire process and was very helpful with some local recommendations. The room itself was spacious and clean, but did have some minor noise from adjacent rooms (not unexpected for a small inn).Overall, I would definitely recommend this for a short or longer stay!Walkability: Very walkable to food and activities in downtown Wilmington.

The room was fantastic, and very clean up on arrival. I enjoyed the large shared balcony on the third floor, great place to do some work and take in the town.James the on call host was fantastic and took care of our every need. Very prompt responses and great local recommendations.I personally completed some work from home while there and had no issues with WIFI. Would recommend if you are looking to stay in the area.

We enjoyed our stay! We have always wanted to stay here And finally did - it did not disappoint! Location right in the middle of everything was perfect for walking to restaurants & shops. The inn was very clean, nice decorated with modern bathrooms. Lovely gathering area on main level. Cozy back patio with fire pit created a fantastic atmosphere. Easy check in and out - communication through text made it so easy for us where we felt like we could come and go as we please. It was a quiet weekend in town so we were able to park in the street just steps from the front door however parking lot across the street was easy access and free. Highly recommend this location.

Been coming to VT in excess of 40 years for skiing first time in VT for summer time and found the best accommodations I could ask for . Great B&B with all the accommodations you need for a time of sun & fun The Vermont House is perfectly located walking distance to center of Wilmington. Great beds showers and clean rooms.James was a big help with recommendations for restaurants as well as places to go. Planning on coming back soon as the location offered us biking trails extending over 30 miles nearby. A must try!!!!!!

My husband and I spent the weekend here for an anniversary/golf getaway. It was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for. Hailey (at the front desk) was very friendly and helpful. She gave us plenty of information about the area. The room was adorable.Very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again if we're in the area!

This spot is such a gem! Surrounded by cute shops and great food—James was spot on with dining and nearby attraction recommendations. Super clean, VERY comfortable beds and pillows (arguably more comfy than my own!) and a lovely front porch and back patio—you truly felt like a guest in a home. The first floor handicap accessible room was fully equipped with walk in shower w/seat, raised toilet, wheelchair accessible sink and support bars on the walls; It was perfect for my mother who has limited mobility. The House is within a short drive (or long walk) to convenience and grocery store should you want to spend some time at the beautiful reservoir down the road complete with picnic areas/grills and swimming. We were looking for a place to relax and get away and we found it! Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at The Vermont House for a weekend ski trip at Mt Snow.It was a great experience. I’ve stayed at other places in Wilmington area and this is definitely one of the best in town. Rooms are spacious, clean and newly renovated. Parking was easy. Restaurants next door are amazing.Had a nice chat with James, our host, about the history of the hotel, and many exciting things that he’s planned for this place.Thanks for the experience and I look forward to be back soon!

Beautiful inn with a juice bar at the front counter (I got some boba and it was excellent!) James texted us before our visit with things like instructions for parking and restaurant recommendations (we were able to check out a few and they were all very good) and he was very nice.Our room was VERY clean and welcoming and we really enjoyed our relaxing stay!

Went for a weekend ski trip with friends and the Vermont House exceeded our expectations. James was a fantastic host, he was very responsive to all of our questions and gave us the best recommendations! He even went the extra mile when he drove us to Mt Snow because we had missed the ski shuttle, he really saved our day! Our room was clean and very confortable! We will definitely return!

Unable to make a reservation in July. Website wouldn’t work (denied booking several times) and when I called the office they said they can’t book me now because they are not near their computer. It didn’t seem eager to help me, bad customer service. Bummer!

I'm not super into the weird ways the pandemic has made certain hotels basically human-free. This place had great rooms but I literally never saw a person who worked here despite getting like 5-7 text messages about my stay with room codes and dining suggestions. The room was great (beds a little firm for my taste) and the location was great.

I actually wish there were half stars. I would actually like to give it 3.5 stars. Pros: It’s pretty clean, in a wonderful location, the architecture is fantastic, the room is a good size and the decor is nice. Communication with the hotel staff before we arrived was great. The cons: 1) You can hear EVERYTHING. We could hear the people walking above us in the middle of the night (and they were not stomping). We could hear the folks in the next room talking softly. We could hear every car rumbling by on the street. It’s an old place so that’s a given but if you’re a light sleeper, it’s just something to keep in mind. 2) The curtains are not flush with the window. If you’re on the first floor, you can see the street from the mirror in the bathroom and anyone walking by can see you while you are getting undressed. It’s a small gap but just enough to be uncomfortable. We had to get the ironing board and lean it against the shades to close the gap while in the bathroom. Same for the bedroom shades. We could see people hanging out on the porch and I’m sure they could see us, especially at night. 3) The room was not serviced on our second day. We came back from hiking and the room was not made. It’s not a big deal and maybe that was in the hotel agreement but we found it unusual. There was no one staffing the hotel we could ask either. It’s a nice treat to have your room cleaned when you’re staying at a hotel so that was a bummer. 4) Don’t look under the bed. I dropped my phone under it and was a bit grossed out with the layer of dust under it. We came in the off-season so maybe they were just not as attentive as they might in a busier period? Also, there was still food in the fridge from the previous guest so housekeeping is not totally thorough. The rest of the room and bathroom looked very clean however, so there’s that.Overall, we enjoyed it for the location and it was comfortable enough but it was a B- stay for us and we would probably look to stay elsewhere next time unless we got a different room

The Vermont house is PERFECT! It is located right in downtown Wilmington, is newly renovated and is very trendy.The rooms where super clean, the beds where very comfortable and there’s a great patio/porch outside.I can’t recommend it enough!The innkeeper James was so helpful and accommodating, special shout out to how awesome he is.

The property is fantastic!Location: 15 mins drive to Mt Snow. Restaurants and groceries are close to the property.Facilities: Everything is new! We booked the two bedroom suit but it’s actually three rooms with THREE bathrooms! Great choice if you wanna ski with friends and stay near the mountain.The employees are also really nice that we were able to leave our luggage in the property on the last day to enjoy the snow first.

Met James who just took over the property. He was great and accommodating, and super helpful on recommendations.The stay itself, super clean, super comfy beds/pillows. You have your own mini split that you can control the temperature with. Can't wait to stay again.
