I pass this shop on my way to work and I've had some of their amazing items at the Marlboro Fair. Today I finally was able to stop in and experience the sweetness overload. Whether you are looking for cookies, cake, quiche, focaccia, or much more, this bakery is worth the time to get something. My favorites are the personal size Persian love cake, bear claws and the croissants. What a selection! You will not be disappointed...go.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get to the entrance.

Awesome bakery in a small town with so many variety to choose from! I was like a kid in a candy store!Hubby and I came in twice during our week long snowboard trip at Mt Snow, both times we were greeted with big smile and warm welcome.I love sweet and really like the gooey Black Forrest pastry. If you have a sweet tooth to satisfy like me…COME CHECK IT OUT!

Finally got to go today after hearing great things for months. Amazing white sourdough loaf, so spongey and flavorful. We also got a nut torte that reminded me of a chess pie with nuts, and a white chocolate iced cookie with Kirsch soaked cherries. Kind of insanely good. I would definitely recommend this bakery, lots of creative baked goods and a surprisingly big selection.

Wow I am just speechless . You can pretty much eat everything in this bakery . Everything is so fresh and moist that it melts in your mouth . You cAnt miss this place if you are going to Vermont . The whole road smells so good because Of fresh baking happening in this place . This place is owned by a couple and I can just say that we were visiting from boston and this is now our one of the fav bakery when visiting Vermont. I packed two boxes from this bakery and I finished everything writhing two hours. Olive cake and pistachio pastry was to die for! I highly recommend this bakery to all dessert lover ❤️!

This place will knock your tastebuds out of the park. Whether it's their gooey chocolate browny, pear pastry drizzled with sweet honey or game changer of a chocolate croissant (amazing!), this place is the real deal. We were greeted with smiles and my son's day was made when the lady was so patient and friendly helping him make his decision (which was the browny for a BIG win:)Whether you're local or in town for a weekend, this place is not to be missed.

Phenomenal baked goods and a charming atmosphere. Plus, incredibly friendly staff. My wife actually forgot her backpack at the bakery, and one of the staff members was kind enough to bring the backpack to their personal home after hours so that we could come back to pick it up. Absolutely above and beyond, and we will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in the area!

Excellent! Don’t miss this bakery! Had the brioche with ham and cheese… delicious, flakey, savory goodness. Bear Claw.. just the right amount of almond with super light flakey pastry. Chocolate croissant… gooey dark, but not too bitter chocolate surrounded by the crunch of perfect flake pastry. Did not disappoint! A must stop.

Amazing birthday cake...delicious almond cake with almond buttercream icing! Carolyn was very attentive to detail. Also, bought many kinds of breakfast pastries to try...everything was yummy and beautifully baked! Highly recommend this bakery.

Starfire bakery is probably the most creative bakery in Deerfield valley. It’s a must stop for visitors and skiers alike because of their large assortment of classic baked treats and original globally inspired cakes.Calvados cake is a must try (it didn’t make the photo!)

My family came here twice in our one-week trip to VT and literally everything we tried was outstanding. The black forest cookie was my personal favorite but I don’t think you can go wrong with any choice. And everyone was so friendly :) We’re very glad we stopped by!

Absolutely amazing bread and focaccia but their desserts are overly sweet for me (and I am a dessert lover!). What a great addition to town, we’re lucky to have this place! And a nice touch- they have delicious hot coffee available too.

Not to be missed. Everything is beyond exceptional. The best you can find in the USA. Almost as good as the best in Europe. Only thing that would make it better is if they used Irish butter and French flour (completely different wheat strain which tastes better and causes no gluten intolerance reaction plus no glyphosate). But that is a lot to ask! Just extremely grateful there is a bakery with such a high standard within driving distance. Hard hard hard to find! Keep up the amazing work and all the heart you put into your baked goods! Will keep visiting.

As soon as you walk in, you are hit with amazing aromas and the brightness of the bakery all white akd clean. Everything I have had here is delicious!! Yes, pricey but a treat for yourself once in a while is necessary.The woman that works the counter, however, I do not believe is a baker there, is just as important and gives you her attention when it's your turn in line (yes lines, it's that good here). Her eyes light up like stars when she greets you, and her personality is full of spunk and fire (fitting for the bakery name). The professional bakers/ owners are working hard in the back, which can be seen as they swifty carry warm smells of cinnamon, chocolate and heaven through the doors and under the glass onto the counter display. It's a happy place !!

We ordered two cakes and two cupcakes from Starfire for our wedding. Not only was Starfire extremely helpful when it came to dietary restrictions of the guests (gluten, soy, and dairy allergies), but the cakes were unbelievable! I can't recommend this bakery enough - kind staff and delicious food.

Popped in for birthday celebration treats late on a Saturday afternoon. They still had a solid selection of goodies, and it was hard to choose! We enjoyed a classic brownie and two GF cakes (can’t remember the names but 1) pistachio/rose and 2) spiced/warming flavors). Kind folks, creative dishes—worth the stop. Go early if you want bread!

Absolutely.100%.Amazing. Staff know the product as it made on site. Each pastry has a unique flavor, for example, pear/apple/Calvados, rather than what you get at a fast food donut shop where all basically taste the same. They also sell locally roasted coffee which complements the pastries perfectly. Cost: compared to pastries From other bakeries I have been to, these are very reasonable. Highly recommend, I would seriously roadtrip 6 hours for this shop!
