I love this community store! The locals shop here knowing they can get a single steak or piece of chicken without having to buy 10lbs. I get deli meat sliced to order, gourmet cheeses, sandwiches, salads and personal attention. Not to forget how great are the food trailers and catering! They remember your name and we can talk like friends. I can go on and on,I definitely recommend this hard working crew!

I’ve been going here for 4 years since it’s right down the road but the selection is varied and prices are outrageous and whenever we go to the deli it takes 20+ minutes to make 2 sandwiches and they’re rarely made correctly and seems to be a new person every time. Not sure other then the convenience that I keep going back or not because its the same thing every time. I’m not one to complain ever but it’s just gotten worse every year

The best Turkey sandwich I've ever had in my life!!! Turkey, American cheese, Romaine, Bell-peppers, Spinach on Wholegrain bread. I was in Wilmington looking at land for a homestead with my Father. We stopped at this market for lunch and talked to the guy at the register who was just the friendliest guy you’d ever met!!! Nice place for locally grown food and goods

This place is awesome! Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are DELISH and affordable! Snacks options are great for ski days and the beer selection is decent. We come here basically every week in the winter!

Stopped here on our way into newfane, I was hoping to just grab a gallon of water and maybe a snack and I left with a new york strip and Chinese beef skewers(both delicious) the service was great. We went back through out our visit. We drove down from newfane for a sandwich and it was amazing. Such a good deli. (Blt was amazing ) We also got pork chops, a rib eye and stuffed mushrooms, which are amazing. but the garlic cheese sausage. Was the best sausage I think I have ever had! (We are hoping to stop and get a bunch to take home)Definitely recommend stopping here. Be it for a sandwich or something to cook for dinner. Seems like a family run place. But they might just all be wonderful people that work well together. Glad we found this gem. Made our visit to Vermont delicious.

I met the friendly and thoughtful owner, Mark. I tried to order a breakfast burrito and he told me he took them off the menu because they got really bad reviews under the old management.Mark told me he would make me a breakfast burrito and allowed me to put anything I wanted inside .This burrito was delicious! It was stuffed full with all the good eats. Order one!

It’s a Beautiful store & a terrific resource - pricing is unclear & requires detective work. IE. in the open air display near the registers - the deli meat and cheese area that’s prepackaged - none of the product is priced on the product. It’s a shock to discover at the register that a 3 oz VT Salumi Capocollo pre-sliced is $10.99 (that’s $58.61 per LB). &, the item I chose in the health wellness hygiene area scanned higher than priced on the product. Bottom line: pricing is unpredictable.

I got a Turkey and cheese sandwich with mayo, lettuce, and onion on a sourdough bread. It was well made and hit the spot, and it was a fair price. Good stuff.

We ended up visiting this market because Shaw's system was down and I am so happy we did. It's a small market but they have a decent selection of various items and one of the things I'm happiest to have found is the Caulifloower chips. I can't eat corn or wheat or potatoes so having a chip to crunch and dip is fabulous. My partner loved the Vermont sandwich and I got their Greek salad, I'm originally from Florida where they put potato salad in their Greek salads and obviously with a potato allergy I can't do that either, but I put hummus in it and it was so good! Oh, they have a nice selection of hummus there. If they add coconut milk and rice cakes I'm 100 percent down to make it a regular stop spot.

I’ve been going to the store for many years… Seen many different owners. Just last week I was in there picking up some clams and spoke with a lady at the cashier who was very sweet and friendly… From Utah. Today I went back to the store and there was a young blonde girl there who had a major attitude! I picked up some more clams and when I mentioned that one of them was dead she gave me a look, sighed and walked over to the deli to fix the order. Also...when I walked in I was putting on my mask in their hallway and she was standing there sternly and mumbling that I need to have my mask on which I said I was putting on! Really? On top of that, there was no one in the store and as I walked by I put a six pack of beer on The corner of the counter and she told me I couldn’t leave it there....Again with an attitude. I will be taking my business elsewhere… What a shame because I really have liked the store. All it takes is some one who shouldn’t be out in front dealing with people to make that decision. Note to owner… Get this girl away from your customers!

We ordered from RVM for Thanksgiving dinners, 2 full dinners for 8 each as we were 15. My family members are all great cooks and I usually host this holiday at home and enjoy the cooking. However we decided to stay at our condo near Mt. Snow and decided to order. Unanimously, every family member was impressed with the quality and flavor of everything they made. From the butternut squash soup, route veggies, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and pie! Perfect from soup to nuts, allowing us to enjoy each others company stress free and focus on what's important, family! I think we will be making this a tradition moving forward! Thank you RVM for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

If you're a tourist staying for a few days shop at this place. The owners, particularly the Father and daughter are absolutely wonderful people to talk to. Good family owned service with a great selection and competitive prices. Very good meat. Also the other stores especially closer to the ski resort are staffed and likely owned by people who were rude, very arragant and VERY hostile despite my best efforts at civility. Those places were less welcoming than a NYC toll booth. And were either overpriced or dumps and dirty. The River Valley was as clean as a whistle.So if your like me and want to go buy groceries without drama or screaming matches with druged out locals who are being hostile to your friends wife and girlfriend go to this place instead.

Adorable Vermont market with amazing produce, meats, seafood, and deli sandwiches! We got the VT club and the Turkey Avocado Bacon, and they weighed about 3 pounds each. They were AMAZING! Perfect stop for lunch, can't wait to go back!

I'm a NYer. RVM is where I go for my meat. High quality, great marinades, fresh fish. Had the wagyu, NY strip and kabobs this weekend. Great stuff. Btw, the staff is helpful and friendly.

Service was terrible. These people will cause an issue at any given opportunity. Said my friends id was fake and wasted the police officers time to check a REAL id. No apology given just a lot of attitude and sass.0/10 wouldn’t recommend

I went in with the intention of getting a deli sandwich, the menu looked great unfortunately the lady at the sandwich counter walked away when I looked at the menu and did not return. I waited as long as i reasonably could while very hungry then had to give up. Pretty disappointed as the sandwiches sounded good.

It's a little pricey, but doggone it...the meat quality and selection is wonderful. Staff is helpful and they have a great selection of Vermont cheeses, as well. Fresh fish and meats...nice steaks and pork chops.

If your getting food that is made I. The deil, call ahead to make sure how long the line is. I waited 25 minutes and there still had 4 orders in front of me, I didn't even get to place my order for food, disappointed.

Stopped here Christmas Eve and they were friendly and it just had a really quaint atmosphere. The premium steaks were delicious and the local wine was very well priced.

This is a wonderful market. I’ve been coming here for more than 40 years and through at least three different owners in that time. I have always liked the market but I feel it is at its best right now as it relates to selection, service and appearance. Highly recommended!
