Such a pleasure shopping at Village Hardware... I so enjoy the staff, and I have know Sam for years - she is so welcoming and a delight to speak with. I always love to come here to get my seeds and other garden and yard care supplies. They seem to have an exceptional selection of just about anything that you might want for your garden and yard. I also noticed that they have a lot of pet supplies and items for various livestock. Friendly and courteous staff are also a plus here.

The Customer Service here is excellent! I rented a u-haul and the pick up was quick and easy. The atmosphere is very positive and I'm sorry I don't live locally or this would be a definite stop for me to shop.

Bought a cord of wood and 1st the drop off was fine - however probably more dirt then i have in half of my back yard - im talking FULL of dirt! Just started burning the wood and gosh the amount of fire starters and kiln needed becomes a total waste of money - ALL because the wood "isn't clean". Ill never purchase wood for the stove from them EVER again........

The people here are incredibly helpful. I came in looking to get 4 cubic yards of dirt and were able to tell me what the most affordable and effective solution was, as well as how much I could safely transport in a single trip. 10/10 would recommend

A great Family Owned and Operated Franchise!Landscaping stuff? Check. Flowers? Check. Livestock and pet supplies? Check. Propane refills? Check. Good neighbors that have in the past hosted animal shelter rehoming events and the like? Check! Folks that know their Shiznit? Yep, that too.Good Folks. Been there a while. Helpful. Will their pricing beat "That River Company's" pricing on a spray nozzle for your garden hose? Maybe not, but they got it Right Now, and can suggest that you replace the gasket too, or a quick disconnected arrangement that you might not have realized was AWESOME, etc...

I go here to get my propane tank filled up for my grill. It's close by and cheaper than trading it for another (I own mine). I have also rented a Uhaul truck from them and they usually had the size I needed.

Ordered 6 yards of mulch and was happy with the product. Called back 3 weeks later (today) for 5 yards of top soil to be delivered and was told they no longer deliver top soil. That’s like going to the tire shop and they only install bike tires. How do you run out of soil? Let me guess, blame Covid? Unfortunately it’s time to find a new source after 30+ years of buying from Agway.

Rented a U-Haul truck here and dealt with the owner upon rental pick-up. Had the rental until 3pm the following day. I rented the truck, brought it back early and had a rental for duniture pads as well. I drove the truck all the way back and forgot to put two of the furniture pads inside and left them at my house which was 30 minutes away. I decided I would call the following day to let them know and had a woman answer the phone who said the truck was already checked in and I was charged for the pads. I explained the situation and told her that I do have the rental until 3pm and understood I brought it back early and should have the ability to return the rented pads with no cost as long as they got returned by the end of the rental period. I brought the furniture pads back to the store and dealt with the Agway owner again who acted as if he didn't remember who I was yet quoted a comment and questioned a comment I said the previous day which obviously shows he remembered me. He said he couldn't do the return and I'd have to call the district manager. He had full capability to process a return after talking with uhaul customer service as well as the rental truck we picked up had a wiper that was missing. Didn't realize this until driving down the snow covered road and went to use the wipers from road spray coming from traffic ahead and the wiper failed to work and caused us to experience dangerous driving conditions.The previous rental we had from the same Agway within a week apart had the furniture pads lock out tag broken and to avoid a charge I had to go into the store to inform them that they didn't check the truck in properly otherwise I would have incurred a charge for the opened furniture pads option which didn't have a break away tag.What could have been done differently---Trucks could be checked in properly and the owner could be better with customer service.-- The owner instead so arguing with me in the store about correct business practices could have simply issued the refund of $10 and listened rather than trying to speak over me.- The owner could have went ahead and took care of (me) the customer....and the fact he wouldn't take care of a $10 furniture pad return makes me question larger purchases that I would make in his store.- I would advise potential rental customers and store customers to be cautious when dealing with the owner who is a liar and acts like he has no idea what your talking about. He could have simply called me prior to processing the uhaul check in to verify everything but decided not to. I will not be bringing any business back to this store and will advise the hundreds of people I come in contact with everyday at my job not to as well.

Poor customer service, atrocious checkout desk, and incompetent employees. Employees have poor attitudes and mock customers after they leave. Checkout clerk's are oblivious to their customers. The storefront is filthy; equvilant to a dirty mechanics garage. Guys Farm and Yard is down the street, as well as Home Depot.
