LL Bean used to have great customer service. Their lifetime warranty is only 1 year now. Which is so sad. I tried returning some gloves that were bought during the lifetime warranty period. The manager at the Williston location - JoJo gave me some corporate BS talk track that they would not accept them. She was rude too. The cashier was nicer and said “I agree with you. If I could return them I would, but it’s now store policy.” I’ll never buy from LL bean again. Too expensive and a bad warranty.

Very helpful when I found shoes I liked but not the right size. And they were sale shoes so they never have extras in the back, they checked in their system and honored the sale price! Shops to NY for less than $2, a steal! Other than that, it's a quality store.

I have an L.L. Bean winter shell that I have returned to their store in Maine to have the zipper fixed. I was told that all it was told it was just the pull .I just got it back from being sent back the third time and the woman told me the zipper was bad but they could not repair it because they did not have a machine that could fix that kind of zipper. But they put a new pull on it to make it go away, so I went into the Williston store with it to talk to the manager and he told me I had to talk to customer service so I did and the woman put me on hold for 35 minutes and then came back and said that the last record she could find was 2015 and the jacket was only made in 2015 and 16 that’s not the point the point is the zipper gave out and it should be replaced or they should give me credit for a new jacket . Instead, I went all the way up to the top supervisor and he told me that that’s the way it was and they weren’t going to stand behind it. They tried three times and they weren’t going to try anymore. They didn’t try because if they tried, they would’ve replaced the zipper not the pull so I guess they don’t stand behind their product anymore so don’t waste your money, paying for the L.L.Bean name because they do not care anymore to take care of the customer. I will not buy anything else from their store because they don’t stand behind anything anymore.

Needed to pick up a pair of camp shoes. Went to the store. Asked for directions as I walked in, directed to the left rear of the store. Found the pair of shoes I wanted, located a staff member. Shoe and she returned with the correct size. When I went to the checkout counter, the same staff member saw that the register Clark was busy and came over and took care of checking me out.

L.L. Bean is always great to shop at.This is a small store with a Limited amount of choices.I bought a jacket and sweater. Who doesn't love LL Bean?? This store has the most friendly and helpful staff around. Hubby wanted a specific vest, stock showed one in store, and she hunted it down and retrieved it from a mannequin! Careful trying on the Snoopy hoodies. They are so cute and so soft you'll have to get one. But you won't regret it. It'll quickly be your favorite- the hoody does shrink a little bit with first wash.

Honestly a bit disappointed that the paddles from the Burlington store are not on this new location entrance. Ed was a great help with the shoes and Beth was amazing...I was even able to find the perfect pair of jeans in my perfect size! (My wife asked me to post this.)

Great store! Very helpful, friendly staff. Great sale right now on fishing equipment and gear (20%). And they offer a military discount as well. Im going back on Tuesday night for a free fly tying seminar. Definitely will be shopping here frequently!

I was hoping to purchase a pair of women's boots. Unfortunately they had a very small selectionStaff was very friendly and helpful. My biggest disappointment is they have no restroom at their store and only one with a very long line in the mall. We would have stayed to shop but after traveling an hour to get to their store it was not possible. I feel they should be more concerned about keeping their customers comfortable so they will stay at their store.

I don’t recommend visiting the Burlington LL Bean if you have small children or need easy access to an elevator. The mall entrance is closed but there is no sign outside the mall entrance letting customers know that. I unknowingly walked all the way through the mall, wasting precious time especially as a mother of a small child. There needs to be a sign outside the mall entrance! I’m not the first person to point this out. Why isn’t there a sign?Then when you walk around to the street entrance you are upstairs and there’s no elevator inside the store. You must ask to be let out the locked doors so you can go downstairs if you have a stroller or wheelchair. Oh and there is no public restroom access. I know there is a restroom as I’ve used it years before. After asking nicely if my infant son and I could use the restroom I was told no for security reasons. That’s a flimsy excuse at best. I’m sure you have security cameras and we were paying customers. Not family friendly! I highly recommend saving yourself the headache and just shop online! People need access to a restroom, pandemic or not.

Great product. Inconsistent service. Usually a display for you to order online via cashier. Too bad. I prefer LL outlet at Lake George. Stopped giving Christmas Gift cards..as they now added shipping charges. Seems company in worst enemy. No bathroom at this location. Closed do to drug sex issues. Sends you to local fast food restaurant. inconsistent staff as for friendliness. But great product!!!!

Good customer service. Not everyone is knowledgeable though. Bought a jacket last year and had a hard time cleaning it, went there a month ago and the suggestion ruined the jacket. So I called to see what to do and the man on the phone told me of a product they sell to clean it with. They gave me a new jacket but it all could have been avoided if the people are trained better on product care. I bought the washing solution this time. Lisa

This store is well organized and the employees are a rare breed in the retail industry. I went to replace a tote bag that my dog destroyed. I was able to quickly get direction as to where to go for help. I was escorted to the section where I could select a replacement. After physically selecting the bag with me, the employee walked me through the monogramming process and offered to ship the tote to my house in order to save me a drive to the store. I wish I could have been on a shopping spree.
