Good sized grocery store with great variety and good produce selection. Appreciate the Hannaford to go option (they will bring your groceries out to your car), especially after recovering from a surgery last year and having difficulty ambulating.

6/15/23 9:15 am: It’s pretty pathetic to walk into your local Williston Hannaford store and find that 3/4 of the produce section is absolutely empty… then move onto the other isles and see 1/2 of the other shelves in the store empty… the meat section had hardly anything in it also. This is really not a grocery store any more, it’s a convenience store, nothing more. I will treat it as such from now on, nothing more.

It's a grocery store. They have stuff one would want to make meals. Obviously, planning Your shopping includes looking at sales at all grocery stores because there is savings to be had if You find items at reasonable prices elsewhere. I don't like to spend forever looking for stuff and I find this store isn't doing the constant change over of the store layout, I can usually find what I'm looking for because it's usually where I think it should be. Of course I can't insist that everyone price shop, sometimes items at the grocery store is found at other stores for less (think coffee filters, paper products). I get that the store wants us to use reusable bags but it's foolish to charge for paper bags, I get that reusable is better, but don't tax me for not always being prepared- I know I don't HAVE to buy bags, sometimes I call it the "stupid tax", I was too stupid to remember I needed to bring bags while I was busy trying to not forget my shopping list. I digress, I now own 2 of there "square" bags because I'm twice as stupid and didn't need paper bags to rip out before I could get my stuff out of the cart. I will be back, because I need to eat, hopefully I won't pay the stupid tax any longer but I don't see it happening. Shop around, I can't stress that enough for everyone on a budget like me.

If I could give no stars I would. Williston VT Hannaford To Go staff, are terrible!! Today my cart got knocked out of my hands by To Go staff. Yes she apologized but stood blocking where I had to go!! Totally oblivious of other customers!! This isn't the first time this has happened at this location. I never have this problem at Essex or Dorset St. locations!Update on April 12. Cashier at express lane, belittled me, called me a liar, and according to the store manager, quoted a nonexistent policy regarding wine bags. I feel very unappreciated, even with an apology. I don't understand why basic courtesies and customer service has declined.

Their produce section is almost always empty or not enough. However, their chicken and meat department is definitely a lot better in taste, quality and price.

I guess the management here needs to read up on service dogs. I have a PSD (psychiatric service dog) the manager came up to us and asked if my dog was a service dog to which I replied yes. She then asked me what tasks he was trained for...I got out for my anxiety... She then interrupted me before I could say as well as my PTSD. HE KEEPS ME SAFE. I was then told my dog wasn't recognized and I was told we had to leave. So because I don't have a physical disability that you can see with your eyes then my dog must not be a real service dog. But they will soon find out when I file a discrimination lawsuit.

Easy shopping and great return/exchange customer service experience. Overall I think their prices are slightly higher, but it's a good, clean layout with good sale prices when you can catch them.

Came in before closing to get some snacks. They stay open later than our local store, which is always a plus, and this location features online ordering through Hannaford To Go (very convenient for commuters and locals alike). The sales floor was spacious, tidy and well lit. There was nothing out of place on the shelves, and most of the inventory was properly blocked and faced. The layout was a little unfamiliar at first, but was easy enough to get the hang of - I got everything I needed, faster than I expected. When checking out, the cashier was friendly and courteous - I was left with the impression that he really enjoyed his job. Overall a very pleasant shopping experience.

I ordered my first Hannaford To Go on the evening of 1/1/22, around 6pm and the employee who helped was incredibly kind & helpful. When I called to correct a substitution I was unhappy about, she was not only understanding, but also enthusiastic. When I arrived to pick up my groceries, she was very friendly. Thank you to this employee for such a positive experience.

I love this place. It's clean, it's bright, and it seems like it's never crowded. The other shoppers know how to shop, so people don't randomly stop in front of you and obnoxiously leave carts in the middle of the aisles. Also, as a New Yorker, I was so surprised that they sell wine and liquor here! The wine/frozen french fry aisle is my favorite.

Love that you have a great selection of gluten free products and that you make it easy to find in the aisles.I also like the Hannaford to go. I was sick and needed some things and didn't feel well enough to go into the store. It was wonderful to be able to drive up and get the groceries. The person who brought the groceries out to me was great.!There was an item that she couldn't find and asked if there was a substitute. She was going to go back into the store to get it. Very pleased!

Supermarket with a floral department, sushi station, deli, and more. Plenty of staff if you need help, unlike the chopper. Staff is friendly.Sushi is fresh and delicious. Store is a bit compact and doesn't have as many departments. They do, however, have a quality meat and seafood department.

I literally just came from this place. Though the place has good selections, the manager that I encountered tonight was nothing short of obnoxious. It appears that his personal problems spill into his professional life. The manager refused to let me and my friends buy beers because he deemed that my ID was cracked when it clearly isn't. The ID from the front of the ID looks like someone folded it but it was perfectly fine. In short, he was rude. He likes things a certain way aka perfect therefore when my ID was not perfect, he chose to decline it although it is a very valid ID. I hate to pull that card but maybe he refused to serve because I'm black and found the perfect scapegoat of an imperfect ID.

Another one of VTs large chain grocery stores. Always clean, a wide array of products and carries things/brands other chains don't. Good meat and seafood and sushi and hot bar foods all consistent.

Always fresh produce and a great over all staff and they keep everything up to date!! The staff there is so so helpful and I love how clean and organized it looks. The bathrooms are always clean too. Nice job williston Hannaford! And thank you 😊 ☺️
