Oh yum!!! I don't know a lot about Turkish food but have been wanting to try this restaurant for years and was excited when a friend asked me to go! We were seated in an awkward spot at a tiny table behind a big post and sort of squished between the cash register stand and another table of people. But we looked past that and made the best of it. The restaurant is huge and beautiful! Very comforting with minimalistic industrial boho vibes. The servers were friendly and didn't mind at all that we stayed after our breakfast and chatted for a while. I ordered a very American scrambled eggs, home fries, gluten-free toast, and a side of bacon. I wanted to be adventurous like my friend was but I don't eat beef and there is a lot of beef on the menu for breakfast surprisingly! However, the eggs were probably the best I've ever had - so cheesy, flavourful, and cooked to perfection! The bacon was also top-notch! Can't wait to go back!!!Parking: You will likely need to drive around to find parking and walk at least a block to get here.

Simply divine!!! This restaurant and the spice store, which right across the street is our favorite. We live two hours away and go in very time we’re close. I’ve never had problems getting in but I recommend doing reservations. During some dinner times, it be great to know you don’t have to wait long. When I tell you it’s good, well others know this too lol

Ordered for to go 2 adana kabeb, fritters and falafel which were complete waste of money, portion and taste is not worth of money I paid $94 for this order. Please don't waste your money.REPLY TO THE OWNER : Everything is expensive, but restaurants increase the price and also reduce the quantity of the food, which is not justified. You can see the photos which I added and dine in pictures, which doesn't seem to be the same. Especially to go orders are not same as dine in.FYI, You see those fritters and kebab platters with no enough portion of rice or vegetables, adding quater of an onion 2 slice of tomato doesn't count and 4 square lettuce doesn't count to be a salad.

this was so good we went back again for breakfast the very next day.everything was delicious. a taste of turkey with most of wines from there and the rest from the local area. my mom had the first one (veggy filled eggplant) and I had a lamb stew with fresh lavash bread. hot and fresh and had a turkish rice pudding for dessert which was very tasty but not quite as fresh. definitely batched and then served cold. had lots of nice decorations (colorful glass lanterns) and rugs. very popular spotVegetarian options: eggplant dishes

I have been here a few times now, and I am obsessed with their food. They always provide delicious and flavorful meals that I wouldn't expect to find in a rural area. I highly recommend their Turkish breakfast, dolmas, and stuffed eggplant. Their service is fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone!Vegetarian options: It is a Mediterranean style cuisine, so there are a lot of vegetarian options. Many of them are very hearty and filling.Dietary restrictions: They have options to substitute to make the meal gluten-free.Parking: WRJ has a good amount of parking right in main street, I have never had issues.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on the first floor without a step up. Many of the tables are at wheelchair height.

I recently dined at this Turkish-American restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. I opted for the Beyti Kabab, and it exceeded my expectations. The dish was bursting with flavor, and the side of expertly prepared rice complemented it perfectly. What stood out was the excellent value for the price - a true bang for your buck. If you're in the mood for a flavorful and reasonably priced meal, this place is a great choice.

Ticker box sold me a wonderful lunch! I am very glad I ate there yesterday.I started w the red lentil soup, which was divine. Rich, tasty, and amply served. I’d go back just for the soup. The little piece of toast seemed like an afterthought. Some grilled pita strip(s) might have been more fun. Still, it could have w no accompaniment and I would have still been thrilled. The gyro was equally delightful. Be warned, it comes wrapped in translucent parchment paper. I almost bit into it… I bet they have security cameras for just such a customer. Great to play back at holiday parties, ha, ha!The tzatziki was a little runny. Made a small mess while I was eating, but hey, that’s on me. Everything inside the wrap seemed fresh. Tasted delicious.I sat at the bar. Not my favorite spot. But, I was alone, and the place did fill up. At one point I heard someone 86ing all takeout. Curious. But I get it is for the safety of the servers. Don’t want angry customers at tables. The iced tea was delicious. Can’t wait to come back!Parking: I arrived at high noon. In an F-150. Not much parking to find. But, I got it.

Everything about this place is just fantastic. Coming from city life and now living in rural VT, I was worried about not having food options that fit my very adventurous foodie spirit. Tuckerbox continuously is amazing. Their food is top notch, the flavors are great, and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. The spice shop next store is AMAZING and I always pick up their spice blends to take home. Grateful for tuckerbox.

I may have only came to this little town for a job, and my stay may be short, but goodness is this place perfect for a sweet treat of a Breakfast. You may judge for yourself through the photos below but the atmosphere is a perfect balance of a soothing mild noise of the patrons and clanking of dishes at the bar. Mix that with the dimmed lighting and beautiful decor and you have yourself a calming transportation away from the outside world. When I come back, this is where I will go.

I've always been a fan of the Turkish coffee here. This place is a bit on the pricey side (food with alcohol would cost approx $40/person), but the decor and atmosphere are absolutely fantastic. I loved their kebabs. Compared to the lamb shish kebab, I liked the chicken adana kebab better though. The best thing is, the kebabs all come with a wine recommendation, and trust me, you won't be disappointed with the wine collection. I took the Egeo with the shish kebab, and it was perfect! The serving size is okay, you'd probably be alright if you finish a kebab entree all by yourself - but definitely don't expect having to take to- go boxes to pack leftovers! You can order Turkish delights if you have a sweet tooth! Also a side note, if you are craving a sweet mocktail, you can go for lavender spritz!Edit #2: the brunch menu is very good!Edit #3:On my third visit to the place, I had Baklava, and I liked it very much!

Found Tucker House on our way thru town. Decided to try their Turkish food. It exceeded any expectations we may have had. Great food and great service. Zoey was super knowledgeable, very engaging and made awesome recommendations. We truly enjoyed and the entire staff was extremely nice. Highly recommend. We had the mixed mezze spreads, beef tenderloin kebab, olives and a lamb stew casserole in a clay pot. Along a nice Turkish rosé wine. Polished everything off with the almond pudding. Yes we ate a lot but so worth it!

Turkish Tapas?Had take out from this place whilst on vacation in the area and what a ripoff! If you read other reviews you’ll see a theme, small portions. We had the mixed grill kebab, which the menu states contains “generous portions”, I can only assume generous means something else in Turkish.I’m fine with average sized portions, especially if the quality is high, but the food here is mediocre and the portions are just plain mean.Only come here if you are fine with small portions of mediocre food. I would recommend you avoid a place that can’t even give you a full portion of plain rice, RICE!!

Another google find. Great food in VT. Met my daughter for dinner for my birthday. Visually stunning, great food and friendly service. Worth driving to. My mixed grill kebab was delicious. Each meat had so much flavor and juicy. My Black Sea Serpent drink was a treat and very unique.

Tuckerbox is a treasure. My family and I love this restaurant and need to visit it more often. The flavors are authentic and the food is cooked perfectly. The meze appetizer is perfect for sharing and sets the tone for the deliciousness of the incoming entree. We can't recommend the kabobs enough. The beef tenderloin is incredible and the spices in the chicken marinade are perfection.Don't forget to save room for dessert! The rice pudding and Turkish delight will not disappoint! Many places can't seem to make rice pudding correctly but Tuckerbox was spot on! Next visit I hope to be there earlier in the day to have Turkish coffee.Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Menu items are labeled out for food ingredients, such as gluten free, dairy free, Halal, etc. As a Celiac (gluten allergy) this restaurant has been safe for me but your mileage may vary depending on your sensitivity level.

A rare places to find in the northeast. I’ve gone there for breakfast and their food is great. I wish they had authentic bread, as a Middle Easterner, i appreciate their food but the country toast really kills the vibe of their food and the authenticity. They import so many things I wish they would also get Turkish bread instead of toast.

We got vegetable guvec, zucchini fritters, falafel, crispy phyllo cheese rolls, small mezze platter and it was all delicious. We got our meal as a carry out. The food was warm when we picked it up. Portion sizes could’ve been a little bit larger but the seasoning was just about perfect. Maybe the sizes just seemed small since we spent all day skiing. The packaging was pretty sustainable.

Very delectable offerings from Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. The breakfast options were perfect as were the traditional dishes. The server was beyond superb and this is a must come back to spot.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere, staff, and food are all unique and enjoyable. My party all enjoyed the Turkish tea, jelly platter, and meze platter. We all had our favorites of the platters, but all the choices are delicious. I had the Menemen, and it was full of flavor and filling. This this such a cozy spot, I look forward to going back when I am in the area.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan food options
