Wow, where can I start? First and foremost please skip this hotel if you can. I know the price is low but the value is very low. This hotel is in a bad state of disrepair. Also, the cleanness is very bad - worse in 50+ years I have seen. No excuse for not cleaning a room. Mold on the ceilings was unacceptable. And I was traveling with friends and both rooms on opposite sides of the hotel were in identical poor condition. This place realty needs an update and cleaning policy over hall. On the positive side I can say the location is fantastic for central VT/NH. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. But I would recommend skipping this place if you can and spending a bit more for a clean room. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.Rooms: Falling apart and not clean.

We arrived and the young man at the front desk was very friendly. He stated that we were assigned to a queen room that was previously listed as out of order. He said that was the last queen room and if anything was wrong with it he could put us in a double room or refund us. We went to the room and it smelled like a dirty, wet dog. The toilet did not flush and the water to the toilet was turned off. We went back to request a refund as we did not want to stay at this place. We ended up at an affordable excellent hotel chain close by near the airport. The price was slightly higher but the cleanliness of the place was well worth the added expense.

Having stayed here for 2 weeks on business.Every day, they cancel out your key cards.Stayed in multiple rooms, all of which have their own flaws.Downstairs has Luke warm water.Upstairs has hot water.Sometimes, there wouldn't be a continental breakfast set up at the time.They do have some great staff there, I must say!Pros, fruit.Cons, fiancée got bit by something there and has a rash from it.

It's at a convenient location near the crossroads of Lebanon, NH, and White River Junction, VT. Dunking Donuts is conveniently door.BUT, the comforter was cigarette burnt, and the pillows looked like someone took a break and watched tv.The room was clean; it was just kind of grungy.If you are trying to sleep during the day, you should ask for a room away from construction. The back is under renovation. My room was at the back, but I didn't feel safe parking my car back there. I unloaded and moved my car to the front.The office staff were very nice. There is basic continental breakfast as well.If you are looking for cheap and convenient this is fine. That's what I needed. But if you are looking for cleanliness (beyond the standard clean up), nice bedding and linen, and a TV that doesn't keep freezing up, you might want to consider elsewhere. I would not choose this place for a traveling family.

Do not stay here! It is the most run down, dirty, unsafe place I ever booked. We checked in, went to the room (already questioning the safety by then with a bunch of adult men hanging out in parking lot) and we IMMEDIATELY turned around and checked out. I was told I'd get a refund since we didn't stay but of course the refund never happened! We went right up the road and booked into Hampton Inn which was very, very nice and only $50 more. Please, do not even book here!

The staff at this hotel is very friendly and even let us check in early for no extra charge during a snow storm. The maintenance man is very kind and helpful and even used the snowblower to help dig out our car when we got stuck. Thank you so much!!Noteworthy details: Very close to gas stations and restaurants.

My partner and I had THE WORST time at our recent stay at this hotel yesterday. We booked the place last minute due to tight travel plans. The room was unsanitary, it smelled like a mixture of wet carpet, old mop water, and smoke. The day and night-time staff do not communicate. For instance, the night-time receptionist said that 1pm was the "late check-out time at no charge." As my partner was working from the hotel room (on a zoom meeting) at around 11:15am, the housekeeper started harassing them about "leaving at 11am." She was not polite. When my partner explained they must have been given the wrong time and politely asked them to finish their meeting in 20 minutes, the housekeep rudely said, "you need to call down to talk to the front desk." My partner said "ok" and closed the door. Not even 3 minutes later, the front desk receptionist called the room and said that we HAD TO LEAVE our room by 11:30am (which was literally in 5 minutes). We packed up and exited the room as fast as we could. When my partner went to check-out, the receptionist was not at the desk. Once we called out for help, she YELLED from around the corner that she was "coming," and proceeded to walk up to the front desk. She ROLLED her EYES, didn't speak and then reached out for our room card. My partner told them how UNPROFESSIONAL it was for them to FORCE us out the room 2hrs early because THEIR STAFF gave us the wrong check-out time. The receptionist then said that they "called the manager" to have the "new staff" talked to for giving wrong information and that it was "THE HOTEL MANAGER/OWNER" who TOLD HER to kick us out! WOW! She then said, "Im sorry you felt like you were mistreated but we are short staffed (for cleaning staff) and needed you to exit." There was another staff member there (short male) who walked away as we tried to sort out the confusion. Any place that can treat their paying customers like criminals for THEIR ADMIN MISTAKE gets no respect from me. I will also be reporting this to the BBB and leaving this review in other places. DO NOT stay here if you can help it.

Well, this hotel is older, and is in need of updating, the mattress was perhaps one of the most comfortable I have slept on in a hotel of any price. The room itself was clean. The bathroom was spotless, and surprisingly. It was very quiet on the night that they were full. The lobby leaves a lot to be desired some of the staff members all hang out in the back room and I’m not really interested in the people walking in but all in all, it’s a great place to stay for short money.Rooms: The bathroom is spotlessly clean. The bed was wicked comfortable. The rooms need updating, but it did not smell and it looked fine. There is no lighting in the back parking lot pitch black at night very dangerous and I worried about my car.Noteworthy details: The motel is directly next to the highway very easy to get on and off

Let me start Where it matters. The old man that sits at the desk knitting is a rude old prejudice prick. He’s not welcoming at all. After driving days to get here, he didn’t bother to say hello. He printed out my paperwork and did t even care to tell me anything. He didn’t give me my room number the direction to go to head in to find my room or even the WiFi password. Mind you I’m a female and it’s late at night. I’ve never been to this part of the country. I feel like he intentionally gave me the most disgusting room they had that could not have been available for a guest. I literally started to cry and started praying. I don’t was Ben have to give to many details on the room. The thought of it makes me sick I’ve posted pics. Take a good look

I had a very bad experience here that ended in the police coming to my room. I arrived fairly late in the evening planning on staying one night. I asked the young man at the counter if I could have a late check out. I offered to pay but he insisted it was free and there would be no issues if I left two hours late at one pm.The next day at 11:20 am house keeping knocked and I explained I had a late check out. Thinking that was the end of it I got in the shower. 20 minutes later I heard a loud knock. I came out to find two police who were attempting to get me out of the room. I explained the situation and agreed to leave as soon as possible. They left at that point.The situation was upsetting to say the least. I know misunderstandings can happen but involving the police was entirely unnecessary. Needless to say I would not recommend this motel to anyone. There are lots of others in the area.

The only nice thing about this hotel is that the bed was comfortable and in a good location. I had NO hot water in the shower. The bathtub faucet was cracked in half and glued back together. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet bowl, so every time I used it, it felt like I would fall in. It was a non-smoking room; it smelled like smoke, and cigarette burns were on the blankets. The room needed to be updated and cleaned! There was an inch thick of dust on the toilet and baseboards. The carpet was stained and gross. At check out, I noticed the charges did not match the quote given at the time the reservations were made. I questioned the charges and asked if the military discount was applied, I was told," I don't know. I only work here 2 days a week, 3rd shift." That was the response I got for every question I asked.When all the other hotels in the area are booked, this is what you have left: an overpriced roach motel.

The staff we encountered were nice. However, the place is not! Very run downed. Because it had Wyndham in the name, we thought it would be ok but we were wrong. There's obviously people living there. Lots of smoking outside and although they say the rooms are "non-smoking", our room had a very strong smoke smell. The room was basically "clean" but old and literally falling apart. Oh, it did have mold on the ceiling over the tub. Everything was working and the bed was OK so we stayed because it is peak season and wouldn't be able to find much better at this time. But never again! I'd rather sleep in the car. We left so early, we didn't even try the breakfast.

Nice size room, clean, very accommodating, very convenient. Originally booked a room with two double beds for me and my husband. After we got there I found out my two friends and their seven year old grandson would be joining us in the room. The motel was very accommodating about 3 extra people coming into the room, they even gave us a cot and extra towels. The large room was comfortable for the 5 of us. The location of the motel right off of 91 was good for us too. The motel and room was large, basic, and clean the breakfast was good too. We have stayed here before and would definitely come back, we would recommend this motel.

For one night stay is not what I would of chosen. The hookers, pot smoking in the rooms, drug dealers, thefts from what I over heard. Police are always there from local police conversation. The shower was broken, unusable. For a non smoking room, it smelled like there had been a smoker's convention held in it!! Very tired, worn room. Bed clean & comfortable. Unfortunate it's not better kept, upgraded as it is right across from the WRJ VA hospital & Veteran's & their families deserve better. The price of $189 for the horrible room is even more discouraging. I was tired, stressed & I just needed a spot to shower & sleep. Live & learn. WRJ VA needs to build a Fisher House for their familiar.

We got two hotel rooms to stay in as my family was coming to visit.The first room was ok. Had some noticeable water damage to walls and over all was clean. However there were a bunch of people lingering outside the room and it was very dark not very well lit outside.The second room was horrible. When opening the door it smelled like old dirty gym clothes have sat in your trunk all summer. It was the worst smell. When trying to turn the AC unit on to maybe pull some fresh air in the thing started to smoke and the smoke alarm went off. Upon further investigation the thing was packed with mold. There were multiple spots that were messed up due to water damage and the walls had cobwebs all over them. There was an outlet that visibility caught fire once. I was in this room for roughly 5 mins and went to the front desk to complain.The lady working the desk was very nice and apologized. We were refunded and left very promptly.Rooms: The room smelled horrible. The AC was packed with mold. Very unclean.Safety: This hotel made me feel uneasy as it was poorly lit and they had a bunch of people lingering outside.

The room was very clean and well maintained, but that was just the start c of excellent service. We brought our 6 month old puppy and 3 year old daughter with us, and they really enjoyed the room as well, but the trouble started when we left. I accidental left my daughters special bedtime animals. I was horrified when we arrived home and she had no animals to help her sleep. We caked the feel, they said to call back the next morning at v9 a.m. while they contacted housekeeping. We did, and they found them! They're sending them to us, and I'm so relieved!

The hotel is extremely outdated. The rooms were clean but overall the hotel is very dingy and drab, carries sound and carpet gross. It advertises breakfast but it's not breakfast, maybe continental at the most with no fruit, only 2 cereals, English muffins and frozen waffles, no napkins at all to be seen. Room rates reasonable. Being it's part of Wyndham, I'm surprised it's the poor state it is.

The room was not clean and the beds were not made (sheets not changed). I notified the front desk and they stated that someone from housekeeping would be in the room in 5 minutes. After 15 minutes I went to the front desk and got new sheets and we made the beds ourselves. However one of the sheets had a bug in it. Managment can make this a much better property if they made an effort and hired people who took pride in their work. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.Update on 1/18 - as mentioned above since management has not replied to this review it only reinforces my point that they do not care about their property or their customers.

Staff was super nice and friendly but if you don’t clean your sheets thats just gross man. I know it was a cheap spot to sleep but there were long hairs in the bed and on my pillow there is no way it went through the wash and came out that way. I ended up sleeping on a towel and using a mini towel to put my head on the pillow but who knows if they even washed those.

Beware of this hotel. The bad reviews about cleanliness are true. The smell upon entering the room should have given the story away. We had beer cans under the bed, someone else's clothes still in the dresser, hair in the shower and used soap still in the shower as well. The carpet was filthy, couldn't take your shoes off. Counters and nightstand were dirty. Thankfully, the sheets seemed clean so we could at least sleep. If you told me that it cost $85 to stay here, I would have expected this but we spent $145. Read the reviews before you purchase. I should have taken them to heart and spent another $50 to stay at a better place. I'll never be back to this place again.

I rarely write reviews but I really did not enjoy my stay and felt obligated to help someone else avoid my mistake. The room was not especially clean but the real problem was the overwhelming smell. Despite it being a non-smoking room it smelled heavily of cigarettes, not the kind of smell from an occasional guest smoking or from a few cigarettes. This smell was from years of smoking the same cigarettes and it permeated everything and got on clothes as well. If there was an option for somewhere else to stay I definitely would not have stayed the night. Now I am writing this 5 days later trying to consider how I can best clean my raincoat so it doesn't continue to stink without sacrificing it's water repellent coating. I don't particularly care if others smoke, I do take offense at being told that I would get a non-smoking room and then getting very much the opposite.

The employees were very nice and the breakfast was ok. It was pet friendly and had a dog walking area around the back of the building. The price was quite high for the accommodations even though I was a rewards member.Rooms: The sheets and towels were clean but the bedding, walls, rugs and coffee maker were not clean.

Don't stay unless desperate.This hotel is used as a homeless shelter. The furnishings are old. The rooms smell of smoke even though it states at the office no smoking. The bathroom is small and in need of updating. My room had a hole in the door. They were not allowed to serve breakfast so we were given a brown bag breakfast. There was no swimming pool, it was converted into a smoke shack.
