A pretty descent rustic style store which has a pretty interesting history as well. Their bathroom was so clean and amazing! Good souvenir buys here. Parking is too ample to fill the store. Accepts credit. See images and videos for further information

This place was recommended to me by my hotel as I was looking for a place to buy Vermont souvenirs. It did not disappoint! It was large, clean, rustic, ample parking and beautiful drive to get there. We got multiple kinds of cheese, raisin bread, a locally made bath bomb, maple candy and more. Go here!

This place is so neat. I wasn’t expecting it to be as big inside. This place has something for EVERYONE. If you are in town, you MUST stop here. I’ll be back!

There is a wide variety of old-fashioned and classic goodies in this store. There are a lot of quality, durable clothes, including sweaters, socks, pajamas, hats, and more. There is also a large selection of natural soaps, lotions, creams, tonics, and other remedies.A variety of candies, baked goods, soup mixes, breads, and other holiday items are available. There was a good selection of Halloween and Christmas decorations available.

What a cute stop for everything Vermont! Mind you, this is a pure tourist trap - but hear me out. It's a great one! Had lots of locally made goods, smelled delicious, great gourmet foods and lots of gifts. Honestly it was worth the stop, even to a native New Englander like myself.

What doesn't this store have. You can literally find everything you need or never thought you needed in here. The store sells all kinds of Vermont themed things. In addition they have a section for men's and woman's clothing, children clothing, toys, kitchenware, candy, jewelry and much more. The store is huge so you can just shop and shop. The outside area has several seating areas, I enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs which truth be told, I think I caught a nap as my girlfriend was shopping. All in all in was a very cool store with plenty of things you never really thought you needed but could use.

If you need it - the country store has it.Clothes - puzzles - candy - wine - cheese - fudge - kitchen utensils - kids toys - soap - body care products - Christmas decorations - you name it!!!You can spend a lengthy time here. They used to have free samples but that’s no longer. And candy is now pre-packaged when you used to be able to grab any amount you wanted. That part is a bit of a bummer, as it was so fun before. Some items are pretty pricey too.

Goodness gracious this place is the perfume of yesteryear! And I mean they carry a little bit of every throwback and modern good you can name. This is a must stop, or detour to. We detoured, and were WELL rewarded folks!

Went out for a ride through NY & into Vermont. This store is huge & has everything you could possibly imagine from beautiful sweaters to Vermont coffee/candy shop. The wonderful memories it brought back seeing Charles Chip containers as a child, were priceless. Plan on spending a couple of hours to meander through it. A wide selection of everything & their catalog pictures do not do justice to their beautiful items they carry! Everyone is very friendly & helpful. Thank you for a nice experience.

It has been a few years since we have visited and the entire location has changed. To start, the entire parking area is paved and has improved parking spots and traffic flow. Inside, the store has been rearranged to improve the flow of customers with far fewer bottle neck opportunities. Checkout is now centralized and a new exit has been created. I sort of miss the random feel that allowed you to feel as if you were discovering items and areas. The size of the store was hidden in the chaos. Now, you can nearly see end to end and move easily between areas. It makes sense logistically. What used to seem like our secret find, has now surrendered to bus loads of tourists. Our advice, visit mid-week and near lunch time to ensure a less crowded experience.Still love the place though!

More than a store, this is an experience. They have sell a wide variety of items. From cloths, housewares, linens, toys, food items, and more, you can spend an hour or two browsing. The staff is warm, friendly and eager to engage. You will also find a nature trail, outdoor seating a beautiful restaurant and plenty of parking.I recommend this place as the perfect lazy Sunday road trip destination. You won't be disappointed!

The store was huge with lots of unique items. They had literally anything you can think of and then some more. The also had Halloween decorations out. They cut and pack fresh cheese, found the process of cutting cheese with a string interesting. Tried the hot cider which was delicious.

A pretty cool place if you like the old times look of things, the store is authentic and truly unique with old wooden plank floor boards and antiques spread all throughout the store. You can find pretty much anything in the store within reason. They’ve candy priced at a cent, homemade fudge, authentic maple syrup, store made cheeses, salsas, beers, toys, clothes, and even perfumes. It was pretty fun experience and would definitely go again. Just expect to spend some money as a lot of it seems extremely overpriced.

A wonderful space to explore with family and friends.Worth a visit when in the area, and purchasing from their website when far away. I enjoyed the penny candy area as well as the Christmas corner. There is also a discounted area full of clothing and odds/ends.

Out for a "Sunday drive" that lasted 10 days. Made a point of visiting Vermont and of course, Rt 100. This took us to the Vermont Country Store in Weston were we overnighted in Lily (our Sprinter) in the huge back parking lot. FANTABULOUS!If you are in the Vermont area, heck, even if you're in Rhode Island, you must go to the Vermont Country Store in Weston. Sure, you can shop the online store but, it's just not the same and, Weston can't be experienced virtually.

A MUST visit! This place was a great hour of great fun! Sooooo many good samples! The cheese and dips and fudge and knickknacks! So much great fun! Tons of kids running around having a blast. We were there much longer than expected and loved every second. Old style penny candy and lots of maple syrup to try and buy. If you’re in the area you should absolutely check this place out!

It's been years since I've been in this store; but it's still chock full of many cool products from housewares to decorations to clothing to body care products to candy ...endless. some a bit steep in price, others fairly reasonable. It's a lot to take-in at one visit. Love the store, love the catalog. Worth stopping by.

We were out on a road trip for a few days. Just going somewhere we haven't been and stopped here. It is a lovely place, and found some really nice items to take home for the family. Anywhere from clothing to books to food and more. Definitely a place I will be going back to.

Sure, it's a bit touristy and occasionally pricey, but there are so many things you will find here that are uniquely nostalgic. And the Orton Brothers menswear is second to none for style and durability. Be sure to check out the upstairs bargain section for some great deals. I bought an Orton Brothers long sleeve shirt on sale for just $19... something comparable elsewhere would have run $40 or more.

Always enjoy a visit to Vermont Country Store. We love browsing through every corner looking for treasures that catch our eye. Our first stop is the 2nd floor clearance. On our last visit I found my all-time fav perfume: Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds $17.00! This visit I needed a winter knit hat.... guess what I found on 2nd floor! 100% Merino wool from Ireland!$19.99! Also purchased a pair of Alpaca wool socks from Peru. This store is fun to walk through because of its layout. There are large cubby's to explore different types of items like soaps, men's wear, ladies wear, children's toys, kitchen gadgets, throws, etc. And the foods! Fresh cut cheeses, fudge, nuts, maple... pick something maple, they have it! It's a great diversion when on a road trip in this region.

My wife can't get enough of this place. So much fun to walk around and browse. Worth the drive if you're in VT and looking to do some shopping for stuff you didn't know you needed.

Extremely overpriced. It always has been (we bought a game there for $35 and found it online for half that a couple years ago) but it's off the charts now.If you're here for cheese and fudge, I'd recommend going to the store across the street instead.
