I was here a bunch of summers working for Camp Snowlake Retreat. This place is a great hotel. Many many great memories were created here. Many kids lives were positively changed here. All the staff here was always so helpful to us. The views are gorgeous. The hotel is really nice. Our campers looked forward to it all year. They all have really fond memories of this hotel as I do.

I'd call the snow lake lodge acceptable for the convenience and price. You should have the correct expectations though. The hotel is in the older side and the rooms reflect the she. However, the bar has good food and decent beers on tap and you can't beat the proximity to the mountain! Would stay here again. Although next time I will push myself to get up extra early and take the first shuttle. I was arriving an hr after the mountain was open and the traffic was insane. That's not a knock on the snow lake lodge, more just something you have to deal with on a holiday weekend. So en sum, decent place for the skier that is just looking for a good deal close to Mount Snow. Good breakfast and free shuttle are nice perks but don't expect much from the rooms, only the essentials there. Hope this was helpful!

PLEASE RENOVATE ME! Besides that not too bad of a place for the price. Get a room on the third floor or you will have a lot of creaking going on above. In general the walls are paper-thin. CONTINENTAL breakfast, but good enough for starters. Both hot tubs were in need of a little more bubbles and power. Very close to the mountain. Excellent location. Good shuttle service to the mountain. Packages including lift ticket and lodging are convenient and usually very competitively priced.

Staff was very rude here and unprofessional. This place was very outdated and clammy inside. Hardly any light and very dim. The entire building was dreary and distressed. The room I stayed in was no better. The furniture was very old and uncomfortable. Everything was old and out of date. No free breakfast here, just low budget coffee in the room. The one outlet didn't work. The place was so dirty and run down I'm surprised I didn't fall through the floor. This place is in need of some serious renovations and the management of this building need to be trained in hospitality and how to run a hotel.

(king suite) You pay for what you get and it slightly exceeded expectations. Great deal for the cheap price I paid. It was also a huge convenience to get lift tickets as a package deal so you just get them right when you check in. No need to go to the lodge to get tickets. Although we didn't go to Walt's Pub or use the sauna or hot tub, the room was as described and staff were friendly/helpful. It is also very close to Mount Snow and on the MOOver shuttle route. The continental breakfast was very basic with cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, and hard boiled eggs. Only cons were thin floors that we heard and felt the upstairs units footsteps through. This would be to blame on the old building I presume. Perfect for someone trying to get decent stay on a budget.

Nice place. A bit too far from the mountain to walk but there is a shuttle. Friendly staff, really nice breakfast included. They have a foosball table and billiard table in the lounge - but they are bar style and you have to pay to use them. This felt like something they really needed to update. There need to be a bunch of fun things to do in the lounge that are just included in the price like the sauna and hot tub. The arcade room was sad and decrepit and pointless. Half the machines didn’t work and they would be better served making that into a room with board games and books for people to hang out in. If they updated the games and stuff in the lounge and made it more friendly by removing the silly pay wall I would have given the place five stars for the value and location. But the place gives you that sense they they are stuck in the 90’s in terms of how to offer hospitality these days. There’s a lot of value in making the place more welcoming with free things to entertain people than the $1 in quarters they collect from people using the pool table and foosball table once a week It would have made a huge difference in the fun factor.

Historic lodge with a great view. Rooms are dated but have a classic charm. It has the biggest indoor hottub I've seen and an outdoor hot tub overlooking the mountain. Staff is friendly and always willing to help you out when possible.

DO NOT STAY HERE!Warning to all families: this is not a hotel it is a overpriced college hostel. There are 30 year olds smoking weed in the hot tub! Rude staff. For the same price and 2 extra minutes, you can stay at a place like The gray ghost inn which is great!

Had a great stay at the Snow Lake Lodge. The front desk was some of the best people i have ever been in contact with. They were super helpful, and accommodating. The hotel could use a few updates but overall very clean. AS FOR THE PUB. the bar tender was absolutely terrible. one of the worst bartenders i have ever had to deal with. she was rude, and not helpful. She gave me attitude when ordering, and sighed when i kindly asked her to switch something on the menu. i would not recommend eating there unless you want to meet the WORST person on the planet.

It has small, cozy rooms perfect for a group. Breakfast is relatively small, but free, so at least there's that. The in-house resteraunt doesnt open until 5, leaving lunch completely in the open, making it difficult when I got hungry between the end of breakfast at 10 AM and the restaurant at 5 PM.

Decent location/shuttle. Good room prices, horrible drink prices. Paper thin walls & too many ppl who party loud & late. Rooms were adequate (older, expected for price). If it wasn't for the horribly loud atmosphere it would had been ok...

This hotel is definitely dated, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you're the type that just needs a simple room for a fair deal, this is the place for you. If you want a fancy or pampered experience, move along.

Perfect location on the lake, directly across from Mt. Snow Resort!! Laid back atmosphere, clean rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast, and everything else you'd need for a great winter getaway. I've stayed here multiple times and every experience is a good one.

I grew up around Snow Lake Lodge, and grew up ⛷️&🏂at Mt. Snow, but the funny thing is: was NEVER actually a guest at the Lodge. 🤣

This place is GREAT. i would not recommend it if you are high maintenance, as it is old, but it is clean, with a friendly, relaxed, helpful and nice staff. My buddy's and i have been here a bunch of times with big groups, and also have been coming here with my family for years!!!! Grand Summit is the next best place to stay but get your checkbook out lol. See you this upcoming weekend snowlake!!!!

One of the most rude staffs of all time. Extremely negligent and wouldn't provide the bare necessities for it's guests. Not to mention, an exceptionally dirty place. They refused to give us room service.Sorry for the negative review. I never do this but I was appalled by the lack of business ethics of this hotel.

I've been to many crappy ski lodges and I must say this one was BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had. Rooms are disgusting. Everything in the hotel is dirty. Most importantly, the staff was extremely rude and did absolutely nothing to help accommodate us. You can tell this place doesn't care about repeat customers. Avoid at all costs.

impossibly small room for the price. Was hugging my snowboard while I slept because there was no room for it elsewhere. Breakfast was a joke. Convenient location from the mountain but probably would try for other spots in the future.

The room was small and a little too hot. It was a bit rustic but overall pleasant. Really close to the mountain so that's a plus. Overall a decent place.

Horrible stay away. Management is horrible and rude and makes statements that are false. We wanted to stay in a room with a kitchen called and we were advised to update to a king suit by Laurel which we did and we recieved a broken mini fridge, microwave and a discusting room. We went and asked the front desk clerk James for a room with a kitchen he advised us to update for 50 dollars. We did this and when we checked out we noticed on our cards some odd charges that we brought up to the rude front desk clerk Joann. She couldnt understand us and called central booking where we were told by Laurel we cannot have a invoice based on they use two different systems for their bookings. After a small arguement we were emailed two different invoices that were not equal. On our way home we checked our account and we were charged the room rate again. We called and Laurel answered and almost immediatly hung up the phone when I explained who I was. Once we called back we spoke to Donna who explained that it was Laurels fault for over charging but she did not rectify the situation in anyway and was very rude and dismissive. Later this day we checked our account and have been charged another 650 dollars for no reason. In other words this place blows chunks. Id give it a big old goose egg.

Staff are super friendly! Our car was stuck in the snow storm , even my insurance company does not cover this area in their roadside rescue program . the lodge manager called the mantanence truck and pulled our car out of snow for free, saved us

gets the job done for motels and people on a budget. The continental breakfast is very minimum, and they don't refill the oatmeal every day. So the first day I ate all the apple & cinnamon and then the next day when I went back for more, they hadn't refilled them so I had to eat raisin & spice, yuck!

We had great service when we arrived. The hot tubs inside and out were clean and hot. The bed was really comfortable and had a great night's sleep.

This is a perfect stay for a quick weekend tripI would stay here again. Its no Grand Summit, it's definitely outdated but the rooms are clean... Our group of 11 had 3 rooms next to each other. The furniture is old and chipped, but the sheets and mattresses are clean. It looks like the bathroom was recently remodeled, it has a shower with good water pressure, and a small basic sink. No safe , fridges or microwaves in our rooms. There is a dresser, night stand, and small closet with hooks and a luggage rack. You can walk up to Mt Snow if you're up for it (10-15 min) Or wait for a MOOVER bus that will pick you up right at the front door. They come every 15 minutes. The outdoor hot tub was very fun for a few minutes, the indoor one is larger and there is also a small sauna that is nice. Get towels at the front desk first though, there are none in the pool area.*** You can pay $15 per room to get a card to use the grand summits amenities!!!The breakfast is good enough for being free.

we booked 2 day ski and stay package there and it was suppesed to include 3 one day lift tickets. when we checked in they told us that we had to pick up the lift tickets at guest services next to the ski rental place the next morning. when we went to guest services the next morning they said we didnt have tickets and we had to pay full price. the young lady at guest services whose name was Bellamy had a terrible attititude and told us to bad we had to pay full price. at the hotel later on the staff there said the manager would be there the next morn to assist us but when we went to speak to him the next morning we were told by the staff it was his day off. ive booked plenty of packages like this at Stratton and never had a problem. ill go back there next time.

Definitely the cheapest place to stay on the mountain but you need to take a shuttle to the lifts. The rooms are tiny and this place is in serious need of a major renovation, but you can get rooms for under $75 a night.

Can I give it zero stars? Can't describe how discusting this place was. My bed sheets were stained, there was leftover garbage from the people who stayed in my room before me, if something fell to the floor I picked it up with dust and hair. Aside from how dirty it was, the staff was extremely rude. DO NOT GO!

This hotel is dated, No chain on the door for extra security. The room is so small that you have to walk sideways to pass by the other person that is staying with you. Windows are dirty can't even see out of them. Spend the extra money and stay someplace else
