Jon and Cheryl are fantastic. Our kids absolutely loved their dog, Zeus! The Inn is absolutely gorgeous. There are so many little extras like wine and nuts in the shared space, There is a fridge with all kinds of drinks for the kids. Even pints of Ben&Jerry's ice cream! A large beautiful basket filled with lots of snacks in every room. Lots of different toiletries that you may need. A large delicious breakfast in the morning. The thing that made them stand apart from every other hotel/inn is that we could check out after we were done skiing in the evening at no extra charge. We will absolutely be staying there again next time!

The hosts are phenomenal and make your stay very enjoyable. We stayed here with our dogs and loved it. Common area is very well setup and is cozy making it a great place to relax after skiing. Breakfast was included in the stay.Rooms: Clean rooms with dog bowls and beds provided. Snacks in the room.

Overall experience was splendid. Jon was a welcoming and accommodating host. Communication was excellent. The attention to detail and the small amenities you wouldn’t think of truly made the difference. Small things like an amazing chacuterie board, hand warmers, towel/robe warmers, drinks/snacks on hand set the experience apart. The close location to Mount Snow also made it worthwhile. We would highly recommend.

Pure relaxation from the moment you pull up. The innkeepers make you feel at home and have thought of everything you would want for a relaxing getaway. We love that they are dog friendly and our pup gets pampered with a bed, treats and bowls. The rooms and common spaces are kept warm, which is hard to find in VT. They are close to the mountain, restaurants and hiking trails. We will definitely be visiting again!Nearby activities: Skiing, hiking, restaurants, brewery, bar

The Snow Goose Inn is a beautiful Inn with a great ambiance to it and it is gorgeously decorated. From the moment my girlfriend and I arrived the team at Snow Goose made us feel welcomed and at home. It’s a short and very easy drive into a really cute town with awesome stores, restaurants and breweries. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Does a quiet, quaint and meticulously maintained Bed and Breakfast appeal to you? Are you looking for a bed and breakfast where attention to detail appears to be second nature? Perhaps you might be looking for a bed and breakfast with ample opportunities for personal time or socialization. If any of the above is true, the Snow Goose Inn will surpass all of your criteria. This Inn has multiple outdoor seating areas and most rooms have a private sitting area on the balcony. Bathrooms are large and updated. Towel/robe heaters are a very nice touch. The morning begins with a gourmet breakfast, if that is not enough there is a refrigerator stocked full of juices and yogurts. Fresh fruit, nuts, homemade cookies and brownies are always available. The innkeepers John and Cheryl could not be more pleasant. They are a wealth of knowledge about the local area. There are several other surprises that await your stay at their inn. We highly recommend the Snow Goose Inn. We have stayed at several other inns and none compare to this establishment. We have already booked our return stay!Thank YouM and J

This was the most welcoming and fantastic B&B stay I've ever had, which made a weekend trip with my young kiddo feel like a true getaway.There are clear positives, like Jon's easy and clear communication, a great location with easy parking by Mount Snow with a heated gear room, flexible check in/check out times, clean, cozy bedrooms with fresh, soft linens and towels, and provided toiletries, but there is so much more!It's the warm vibe and thoughtful, generous, touches that make staying there feel like true pampering. We loved the robe and towel warmer in our bathroom, and the fireplace in our room. My kid loved the many board games, cozy couches, and baked goods in the common space. As a first time B&B guest, this child doesn't know how exceptional this experience really was, though he felt that choosing breakfast off a menu to have it magically appear the next morning with fresh flowers and "good morning" note was how kings must live. We both loved the snack basket in our room, chocolates by the beds, and our welcome charcuterie board (seriously, amazing!). What my child can't stop telling people: "there was an entire freezer of ice cream and I could eat as much as I wanted at any time!"I'm a picky traveler, and I can't say an unkind word about our stay. Jon and Cheryl are awesome; I love what they're doing to create an incredible experience for their guests. I highly recommend staying at the Snow Goose Inn.Rooms: Fireplaces, air purifiers, soft, clean, fresh linens. Provided snacks, coffee and water carafe.Food & drinks: They have a menu in partnership with a local cafe for breakfast which really upped the breakfast part of B&B.Noteworthy details: Snacks! Thoughtful details, welcoming vibe, comfort of home touches like an ice cream freezer and coffee/tea/snack stations in the common areas. Also, games, fireplaces, just a very warm vibe.

Our family just returned from staying at the Snow Goose Inn. Jon is an amazing host and made us feel like VIPs throughout providing warm conversation and recommendations for the surrounding area. We were there to scope condos and he had great recommendations for those as well. His Vermont bed and breakfast is really special and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to the area. Meticulous about every detail would be an understatement. Plus easy walk to both lunch and dinner hot spots. Thanks Jon!

I can’t even put into words how amazing my recent experience was and by accident my fiancé and I found this hidden gem. The location beautiful quiet and relaxing space feeling after a deep tissue massage. Fire pits outside to smell the crisp fall air. Fire place inside with your chose of a glance of wine or a afternoon snack with coffee or tea available. The rooms cozy, warm and a fireplace to set the mood for a relaxing nap or book by the fire in your own space.The Hosts Cheryl and Jon are an amzing couple who greet you with smiles and comfort. They go over and beyond to assure you have what you need you enjoy your stay and feel at home and that’s exactly what myself and fiancé felt. We both are still in awe and plan to come back very soon, you get what you pay for and this place is worth every dollar.Thank you so much Cheryl and Jon,Vennessa and Ralph.

My husband and I traveled with 2 other couples to the beautiful Snow Goose Inn for Valentines Day weekend 2021. Before we even arrived, we were pleased with the quick and friendly service via text from Jon and Cheryl. Upon our arrival, however, we were completely blown away by the charming inn, the hospitality of our hosts, and the amenities of Snow Goose. Our group arrived later than we had hoped, but Jon and Cheryl will still there to welcome us and show us around.Breakfast was included during our stay, and our room was absolutely packed with snacks, toiletries, wine, and homey touches. The beautiful common area feels very much like your own living room, with warm fire places, couches, and all the hot chocolate you need. We were encouraged to take whatever we needed to make our stay comfortable.We were blown away by Snow Goose Inn, especially after learning that they only reopened to new owners in December 2020, just 2 months prior. Jon and Cheryl, thank you so much for a stay we’ll never forget!

I really cannot put into words how amazing the Snow Goose Inn is. If you're looking for a place to stay in the area, please do yourself a favor and stop searching and just stay here. My boyfriend (fiancé???) proposed to me here over this past weekend and Jon and Cheryl (and Zeus) went above and beyond to make our stay special, and it will be something that we both will remember for the rest of our lives. They are tremendously accommodating, the amenities are amazing, and the inn itself is so cute, cozy, and conveniently located.This review really does not do the Snow Goose Inn justice, but I will be recommending this place to everyone I know forever and I cannot wait to return for years to come! Truly a magical stay and a magical experience (even if you aren't getting engaged :)).

My son and I just finished a weekend of hiking while staying at the Snow Goose. This is without a doubt the best B&B experience of my life. Innkeepers, John and Cheryl, are friendly, engaging and focused on satisfying your every wish and need. We felt immediately welcomed by the large cheese, meat and wine tray that was waiting for us. The hosts have made every effort to make the inn tastefully home-like. We were offered a spacious room upgrade that would more comfortably accommodate my son and I. By the time we left, we felt like family and without a a doubt, we will return. I couldn't recommend the Snow Goose more highly.

If I could give the Snow Goose Inn a 10 Star review I would. Here’s why. My husband and I stayed at the Snow Goose Inn for an Anniversary / Birthday weekend. We were immediately greeted by Cheryl and Jon upon arrival. Cheryl showed us around the Inn. This was special the moment we walked through the doors. Cheryl and Jon have created a beautiful experience that nothing short of magical. The soft music constantly playing in the background, the beautiful common areas that are so peaceful, the complimentary drinks and coffee .… and a charcuterie board. Now, this isn’t a hunk of cheese, a few crackers, and a slab of salami. This is a charcuterie board that you will need to book your reservation to find out. Come back and thank me later. Lemon Water!! The baked goods out on the table for whenever you feel like you need a little something sweet. You can’t get this anywhere else.We stayed in Room Fourteen where we were greeted with the most beautiful room with a fireplace (functioning fireplace), the views of the back area just as the leaves were changing colors for the fall. This was a spa feel in an Inn atmosphere. Oh yeah, breakfast is included. Not toast, some bagels, a muffin, and oatmeal. You order from a menu. Jon picks up the breakfast order daily and sets up your breakfast on a beautiful tray with fresh flowers. There is coffee, juice (all types), and so much more. Again, no other hotel or inn even comes close. Jon and Cheryl have ruined all other experiences that I will have going forward because I don’t believe any other hotel or inn can stand up to this experience. Jon and Cheryl have set the standard. We had a beautiful weekend that we will remember for years to come. We plan on coming back for sure. Book your reservation because this Inn won’t be a secret for much longer. We had a wonderful time in the penthouse suite with our two pups. The suite was clean, spacious, and with all the amenities you’d want! Jon and Cheryl thought of all the details - welcome charcuterie board with treats for the pups, super comfy bed for humans and pets, wine, chocolate and snacks. The location is very convenient to Mount Snow and Stratton Mountain. Check out Snow Republic and get the burger!

Incredible. The pictures really do not do this place justice AT ALL. It is beautiful. The hospitality was off the charts good. We received a cheese plate on the night we arrive, we arrived very late but they still accommodated us with the snacks and welcomed us on arrival. The rooms, general area and entire property, all absolutely beautiful and made for a great experience and wonderful stay.After coming back from valentines dinner they had flowers and a bottle of champagne set out for us, such a sweet thing to do, just very thoughtful and caring. Over the top good.If I could recommend anything it would be hiring a professional photographer so they can properly light the rooms for pictures to show it off like it deserves. And the door between the two rooms that can be rented together could benefit from some sound proofing when not rented together. All in all an amazing stay and would give 6 stars if I could.

If I could give this establishment 10 stars I would. The property is beautiful and cozy nestled off the road and tucked back into the wooded area. It is also located very close to Mount Snow. The inn is adorned with fire places and lovely gathering places. Fluffy throw blankets and pillows are on all of the charming sofas and chairs. The rooms are stocked with ample acruchements, warm robes and slippers. I was in town for skiing but I would come here just to unplug and relax. The owners, John and Cheryl, are even more lovely than their home. I asked for their help in setting up a few things for a birthday celebration on arrival and they went above and beyond exceeding all expectations. I was humbled by their hospitality. I wish I could keep this gem a secret but that would be most unkind to all you potential visitors. If you are contemplating a visit anywhere near by, you've found the perfect place to stay. We had a wonderful time at the Snow Goose Inn in West Dover Vermont. Our host Jonathan Parker and Cheryl Parker were amazing. The rooms are gorgeous. But its the little things that made the difference. A bottle of wine in the room, Lindt Chocolates, a basket of snacks, fireplace with duraflame logs supplied, just to start. Jon would get up early each morning a go and pick up breakfast for ALL the guests. Just going the extra mile in all areas makes this Snow Goose a special getaway. PS by the pictures you can see the place is extra cozy too. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short because of the impending snow storm. Highly recommend you give the Snow Goose a stay.

The Snow Goose INN is IT!!Starting with a warm welcome of Vermont cheese & crackers, grapes, nuts and a bottle of wine (very much appreciated after a long ride) top brand bed linens, crisp white sheets, a comfy blanket and a fluffy down comforter with chocolates @ bedside...and a cleanbathroom that has everything you'll ever need- including white robes & slippers!Breakfast is a treat! Coffee is aplenty. Ben & Jerry's ice cream is on-the-house!The Inn-Keepers, Jon & Cheryl are terrific!The interior common spaces are warmly decorated.There is plenty of patio space with ample seating and a firepit- complete with marshmallows, graham crackers and Hersey's chocolates. Cheryl, Jon, Becky, and Zeus are a blessing and SGI is a HIDDEN gem within the area, STAY HERE!Room 3 is a must-reserve for dog owners. Direct access to the backyard, a room large enough for an XL travel crate, and plenty of space left for your gear. Our mattress was so incredibly supportive and comfortable, no back aches here after a day on the mountain.Dog-friendly, personable, amenities beyond most four or even five-star lodging, incredibly clean, detail-oriented, everything is meticulously placed, and you will find almost every board game possible to make your downtime entertaining.An actual Breakfast, fresh fruit, gluten-free snacks, pastries, beverages, and wine are available throughout the day.Enjoy one of the many fireplaces, tables, seating areas, or quite possibly a fireplace in your room when you are ready to relax at SGI.If you own an EV, SGI also has a Tesla charger and a more universal EV charger outside to use.Did we mention the distance to Mt. Snow? Yup, you are within 10 minutes of their parking lot.While you are at it, take a walk through the neighborhood, you never know what you may find.Thank you SGI, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you.

Cannot express how great our time was at the Snow Goose Inn. Jon and Cheryl were incredibly accommodating. We arrived later in the evening with our bedroom fire already lit, which was a perfect greeting.Every room is clean, inviting and cozy; amazing after a day of skiing. They are very COVID-concious with air purifiers in every room, extra masks available throughout, hand sanitizers at the ready and disinfectant wipes to use at your discretion. They currently get breakfast locally every morning and it was delicious, and always ready to go when we needed before hitting the slopes. They go out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic trip, and we certainly did. So excited to return next season!

The best Inn we have stayed in. The owners took such good care that we felt truly grateful. Wish to come back sometime soon! There were a few places walking distance including a scenic trail, breakfast and bakery. The kids had too much fun and did not want to leave the Inn, they got totally pampered by the kind Inn owners and their beautiful dog. Hospitality:First and foremost, the Inn Keeper is one of the friendliest and my accommodating Hoteliers I’ve ever encountered. Every detail of our staycation was considered, and there was frequented communication to ensure the best getaway experience possible.Safety:Hallways and rooms were outfitted with air purifiers for safety during these trying times. Complimentary masks and hand sanitizer were available right when you entered the property. Moreover, the no-contact service was very well executed to deliver fresh linens, towels, etc.Creativity:Weekend breakfasts are a staple of the industry, but these folks took it to a new level. Rather than preparing the usual (scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt), they partnered with surrounding local restaurants to offer our meals. What a remarkable way to support the small community and give us something new.Thank you folks for an incredible stay!

The Snow Goose Inn blew us away with their hospitality. We were greeted with dog beds, treats, toys and poop bags for our dogs on top of a snack box, chapstick, wine, charcuterie board, etc for us. They even let our dogs play with Zues (the Inn's adorable Goldendoodle mascot/onsite pooch) and we had a play date with the neighbors doodle named Daisy. Lots of doodles and lots of fun! We spent our evenings walking through the twinkle lit woods to the last chair for video games, live music, food and drinks. We chose to go to Dots in the morning for breakfast instead of having it at the Inn. We loved all the options! It was extra special and I completely full heartedly recommend staying there!

Stayed here a week ago and loved it. The inn is conveniently located, only a 5minute drive to Mount Snow and restaurants. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. Everything was very clean and all covid protocols were followed making the stay feel very safe without hindering the experience. I would highly recommend staying here and I look forward to returning in the future.

This was nothing more than a bed and bath. Nice bed & bath. However, even though the add said there was only 1 room left (because there are only two rooms with a King bed and one includes a ski package), ALL the rooms were left. We were completely alone, got locked in our room because the lock didn't work properly and there was no one to help. There also was no turn-down service, no wine & cheese greeting, & no breakfast AS ADVERTISED. Not a sole there. Not even ice for our water.
