My kids, ages 9 and 11, begged all winter to go to Mind Lock but we never made it. Finally went today while on spring break and had a great time! My 9 year old was nervous that some of the rooms would be too scary, so I called the owner for advice before booking. He was great and super helpful, and his recommended room, Olly's Day Out, was a great fit for us - challenging enough, but not too babyish for the 11 year old. We'll be back with a bigger group to conquer the Sherlock Holmes room! Was such a fun family activity. Definitely recommend!

Great fun no matter what your level of experience! We went as a group of five and ranged in age from 16 to 65; every one of us had a blast trying to solve the Manhattan Murder mystery. The owner and staff are super friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Really challenging rooms and great staff who are super helpful (and we needed them!). My 10 year old enjoyed it as much as we did. Perfect spot to spend an afternoon away from the mountain. Will be back to solve the other rooms!

Awesome place for an evening in Dover! The hosts are super welcoming (and helpful when needed). We’ve done Murder in Manhattan and Dear Watson. Both were challenging but well worth it! Would recommend

Great escape room venue! We did the Manhattan Murder room and it was pretty challenging. They also sell a ton of cool games and puzzles you don’t see very often, and the owner is super enthusiastic, and even showed us some new puzzles they are working on!

We did Ollie’s day out and it was so much fun! The room was awesome and we will definitely be back to try the others. Definitely recommend this place rain or shine as an activity for the whole group (no matter how big or small)

Such a fun night out for our family (ages 7-42, plus an easy going baby!). Finding Olly was challenging but doable with a little help!! Kids and adults were solving puzzles. Can’t wait to go back!

This place was incredible the owner was friendly , the skills you have don’t matter you just need teamwork and to be able to think on your feet. The story was interesting and I felt as if I truly needed to solve the case. Highly recommended will be the highlight of your day!

We had so much fun figuring out the Murder in Manhattan room! We figured it out with less than 10 minutes remaining. Lots of cool puzzles to solve! We will definitely be back to try more!

Place is either abandoned or they have no idea how to run a business… tried to book an appointment and payment wouldn’t process online (tried multiple times). Tried calling and number is not in-service. Emailed and no response. Physically went to location and OPEN sign is illuminated but no one is there. Literally couldn’t give them my money. Wild.

Great place to have some fun! We have done 2 Rooms and they are challenging but the game master will help along the way if you get stuck. Story lines are interesting and the puzzles keep coming. Will be back for the other rooms!!

Our group had a fantastic time! We escaped! The puzzles are well done and our group aged 11-72 enjoyed it immensely. You’re not actually trapped in a room for those of you concerned about claustrophobia. Door is unlocked and you can ask for helpful hints from staff as you wish. We will definitely be back.

Booked an experience on a whim for 5 of us, including 2 boys under 10. We had a BLAST! The place was clean, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the escape experience was challenging and fun. We will make this a priority for all future trips to VT. Oh, and yes we did indeed escape!

We did the Manhattan Murder room and it was a blast! The owner was super nice and very welcoming. We all really enjoyed our time playing, and then the board game selection to purchase is top notch. There are some very good games to try! Definitely the perfect stop during your skiing or hiking weekend!

This was a great escape room. We went with a group of 7 adults and did the Sherlock-themed room. There were enough puzzles and objects to find to keep everyone busy and let each person feel like they solved a piece of the puzzle. We did need a hint, but the clues were logical, solvable, but still challenging. We managed to escape with a few minutes to spare. We called to reserve a time a little later in the day, but the owner helped to accommodate us. I would definitely recommend and would come back to try another room the next time we're in town.

Looking for something to do on an off day from skiing.Terrific experience! Did this with two adults, plus a 15 year old and a 12 year old. With the puzzle we did for Mr Watson, it was great because the kids could work separately on different parts of the puzzle and come together when needed. We got it done just short of an hour and it was a lot of fun. We did have to get a bit of help along the way and the owner was there to give us just enough help, but no too much, to get us moving in the right direction again. Highly recommended during a day off the slopes.
