Over the years Waterbury Veterinary Hospital has provided extraordinary care and support to three of my golden retrievers. It was such fun to return as a newly minted “mom” of two kittens. Both Dr. Kristen and Dr. Emily “ooh-ed” and “ah-ed” over my new kids and were especially gentle during their first visit to the vet.

I absolutely love Waterbury Veterinary Hospital! My dogs have seen both Dr. Crawford and Dr. Fritz. Their care is incredible and very thorough. They take the time to explain everything really well and are very caring. They, or the techs, have always followed up to see how my dogs are doing. Everyone is so friendly at their office. When I call, the staff is always very friendly, helpful and responsive. I also really appreciate the follow up emails detailing specific treatments. I’m very grateful to have such great care available for my dogs!!

We were visiting friends in Stowe when our dog displayed symptoms of a UTI. Waterbury Vet Hospital was able to see us later that morning. We had an excellent experience from start to finish. The woman who answered the phone and asked about symptoms was professional and friendly. The facility is very clean and comfortable. Most importantly, we were so impressed with the thoughtful care that Dr. Miranda and the vet tech (sorry, I don't recall her name) displayed. Dr Miranda explained the tests she was doing and the results and she and the vet tech treated our dog with warmth and genuine care. Our dog started feeling better almost immediately after receiving antibiotics. You can tell everyone there truly loves animals. Highly recommended vet office.

I recently had to bring my dog in for an emergency visit. From the moment I walked in the door I received excellent care and throughout her 24 hour stay received ongoing updates . The MDs worked closely with poison control center and made sure that everything was done to avoid any complications. The staff was compassionate and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Waterbury Veterinary Hospital

I highly recommend this vets office to anyone looking for a patient, passionate and knowledge vets office. I’m very fortunate they think just as much as my dog Lizard as I do. Lizard is treating as a priority and I never feel rushed or like my concerns are not being heard. It’s worth traveling the 45 minutes to this office for us!

Emily is an outstanding vet. I am always comfortable that she is doing the right thing for my two dogs. She was also there and went the extra mile when we had to say goodbye to our goldendoodle two years ago. The staff is fantastic and will always lend a hand. Their prices are consistent with the area. I highly recommend this practice.

We have been going to Waterbury Vet for the past 4.5 years with anything from emergencies to annual visits, surgery, happy puppy visits and end of life supportive care/ saying good bye. The Waterbury vet team from phone service to checkin/checkout to the hands on technician and vet care is always kind, compassionate and goes above and beyond to provide the best care possible. They have cried with us and celebrated with us and always work with us to do the best for our dogs. It takes a lot to provide such great care for both animals and their humans and this team works incredibly hard to support both the pets and owners. We are so grateful to be able to receive their care!!!

We moved to the area this summer and started see Dr. Haley Harasimowicz for our two dogs and she is great! Knowledgeable, compassionate, and good at making suggestions about preventative care without being pushy. One of our dogs is a ham who loves everyone, but the other is very nervous around strangers and Dr. Haley was kind and patient with him. I have hope that eventually we can actually get him comfortable with a vet for the fist time since he was a puppy. Overall I'd highly recommend this practice.

I work out of state a lot but will drive (and have drove many times) hundreds of miles to have my cats cared for my the staff at Waterbury Vet Hospital. We recently acquired 3 stray kittens. When we take them into WVH for their wellness checks the staff, techs and Dr. have all reviewed my boys records. They have also noted the differences for identifying the 2 that are very close to the same. I feel good about the time they take to listen to what I want or don't want!They are warm and caring.

I called to have my dogs records forwarded to another vet that is closer to my house and where my other dog already goes and the receptionist hung up on me. Told me they don’t recommend that, and when I continued to ask them to send my records over she scoffed, said ok then hung up. RUDE!

The most caring, sincere, kind, wonderful vets I've ever had. From the front desk to the doctors/surgeons, they go above and beyond, consistently providing top notch care. Nobody ever seems rushed or has an attitude even when they're busy, they always respond to texts and emails -- just a level of care and compassion I've never experienced from any vet before (and I've seen a few in Vermont.) So grateful! If you can get your pet in as a client, do it. You won't regret it.

This is the first time here. Everyone was professional, polite and caring. All of my questions were answered. Very knowledgeable, I wasn't rushed. I felt very comfortable with the team, inside the exam room and as you walk in very clean. I totally feel comfortable taking my little dog here and for surgery.
