The owner was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and helped guide me with home grooming tips and specific types of tools to use based on my pup's breed, age, and anticipated future grooming needs. I would not hesitate to trust her with my puppy.

Jen, the owner and groomer at Mutt Hutt is so incredibly wonderful with my two dogs. Not only does she do an amazing job grooming them (which is no easy task), Jen is also so knowledgeable and helpful with behavioral issues, nutrition, travel recommendations, and overall pet health! Jen sincerely cares about each of her families (people and pets). We have been taking our dogs to Jen for over 5 years and our dogs look forward to their ‘spa’ visits with Jen! We are SO lucky to have found Jen and Mutt Hutt!

I drive over an hour to come to have my rescue dog groomed. I also pass several groomers on the way but I feel assured that Jen is taking good care of my Maxie. He has issues but she calmly works with him and he is fine with her. Excellent.

My Shirley has never liked grooming (and in the past, her stress levels at grooming have been an issue), but she willingly walks in the door of the Mutt Hutt and sees Jen as some sort of Yoda, I swear. Not only that, but Shirley has a temperamental coat and the white fluffiness is tricky in Vermont, but Jen is fantastic at setting a grooming schedule with me and staying on top of Shirley's needs in that department. She has even helped with a mud-induced situation that required early intervention before our next scheduled appointment to reduce the effects of matting. I really appreciate Jen's knowledge of animal behavior, advice on at-home maintenance, and just her spirit in general. I trust everything about this place, which also makes me realize that I had big doubts about previous groomers. If you have a mutt mix or doodle bug who is hardcore on adventure and still wants to look fabulous, come here. I am amazed at how much coat we keep while still being Vermont active in between grooming. And Jen really is the salt.
