Went there today for the first time and immediately fell in love with the old wood floors and New England architecture. We couldn't believe the prices of the food. We walked out with so much without breaking the bank. The store upstairs was super cute, and I appreciate all the clothes that were natural materials!

We stopped here during our roadtrip and the sandwiches were delicious! Also, free WiFi, which is a huge plus especially for tourists and where cell service is sketchy.Lots of nice products inside.Oh, and they have clean washrooms.Recommended! 👍

Very cute little store. They were so nice and welcoming. I got an ice cream sandwich that I'll go back and get again

A nice store, with a variety of locally created items. They sell food like cookies and candy, but also sandwhiches and other food that is made right there. The food we got was delicious. Some of the items for sale were expensive. There was a swim suit for $84 which is a bit high, but there were a variety of more reasonably priced items.

Another quintessential Vermont country store. Very easy-to-find off Route 100 with parking in front of the store and also on the street. Space to sit on the deck overlooking the falls to enjoy any food that you may order inside. The store boasts a good selection of beer and wine, prepared foods including daily specials, any staples that you may need to replenish your pantry, and lots of great clothing and other general items that you might need.

I’ve been coming here for a few years whenever visiting Warren and the food and service has always been fantastic. Today there was a longer than usual wait for our orders and one of the employees went above and beyond to keep us happy!

The Warren Store was recommended to me by someone on Instagram, and I am SO glad they told us about this amazing place! We spent 5 days in Vermont earlier this month, and of those 5 days, we had breakfast here for 3 of them. Our breakfast sandwiches were fantastic (I appreciate any place that has gruyere cheese as an option) and the maple and chai lattes were the best beverages I had during our trip. Their baked goods are also fantastic! I had a chocolate croissant each visit (how are they so good!?), and my husband tried their blueberry and I think cinnamon streusel muffins, which he enjoyed. They have a little area for breads and baked snacks too, and if the apple cranberry bars are available they’re a must! It’s a great place for provisions, too. We were able to get a big bag of Cabot chips, several bottles of water, some sodas, candy and baked snacks to take back to our lodge. I noticed they also had other provisions like milk, crackers, jams/jellies, hot sauces, etc. The upstairs area was being renovated but the area still open for shopping is really nice. We got some hand soap and I got a cute knitted hat. Truly a get-just-about-anything-here place. :) Lots of bath & body items, winter gloves/necessities and even kid’s toys upstairs. The same 2 staff members helped us on each of our visits and both were so lovely and helpful recommending places to visit in the area. If you’re staying in Warren, or anywhere in/near the Mad River Valley, please check them out!

Love this place. So many cool knickknacks and beers and foods. I got a salmon sandwich and it might possibly be he best "lunch sandwich" I've ever had. They also have this sparkling fruit juice stuff for $5 that is totally worth it. Great pastries and such an old time looking place that, if for no other reason, you should just go and check it out.

Fell in love with this place the second I stepped inside. Reminds me of the old fashioned general store from my childhood. So many local treats to taste there, and a nice selection of beverages. This place is picturesque, wonderful outdoor patio overlooking the river. Fabulous deli sandwiches.

What a fantastic store! Everything from the setting to the food ( little bakery and deli counter inside with patio overlooking a waterfall outside) to the store with clothing, gifts, unique local jewelry and more! There’s food and wine for a picnic, too. A perfect stop while driving back roads to peep the leaves.

Everything here is delicious! The upstairs boutique has a wide variety of knickknacks, and the entrance to the bathroom in back is plastered with old album covers that took me back to the good old days of vinyl and 8-track. If you're going to be going to any of the local watering holes, this is the best place to get sandwiches and pastries that will satisfy anybody in your party.

We used to love this place a lot, and I fully know those that work there are hard working and great people, but the food seemed a bit lackluster last time we visited. Sandwiches were under salted and some of the pastries weren't great. For instance the scone I got was nothing like what I know a scone to be, it was more like a dry madeleine cookie (and I love eating scones). We've heard it's gone under new management but hope that quality comes back up!

Great stop while in Warren. The sushi was quite good, but outstanding was the eclair that we had for dessert! I would not leave the store without getting one! Behind the store is the Warren Creek, which is beautiful to look at. Nice stop while road tripping through Vermont.

Been visiting Warren Store as a lunch stop on occasion for years while motorcycle touring in Vermont. There must be new owners, because the vibe of the joint changed, sandwiches are not as good as before, prices have significantly increased, and service is not typical Vermont friendly. They no longer have the center store cashier for non-sandwich purchases. Instead, everyone waits on the long food ordering line.

Used to be an authentic Vermont store with fantastic sandwiches and a great place to visit on a motorcycle.Sandwiches went from fantastic to decent and the vibe went from happy Vermont to big city style.I stopped in today leading a group of riders visiting New England from the mid-west. Pouring rain and hard to see; I was looking forward to taking refuge under the porch and giving my friends a chance for a snack and warm drink.Apparently the new owners put up a bunch of no parking signs along the north side of the building, which in the rain and desire for shelter were not seen. The manager of the inn came out as some were inside buying stuff and told us in no uncertain terms we were in a no parking zone and would be blocking deliveries and dumpster service. At 4pm on a rainy Tuesday in June. Not quite as dead as mud season but close.I said we're going to be right here with the bikes, we won't be long and we'll move right away if a delivery or garbage truck shows up.Apparently that wasn't good enough. She felt it necessary to comment on our reading skills and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a compliment. The Warren Store used to be a fantastic place to get a true Vermont sandwich. You can still get a decent sandwich, right on par with New York City for only 15 bucks. I had my last today. I don't stop at places that don't like motorcyclists. What is truly shocking is I thought the new owners had to be from New York City. No Vermonter would treat anyone the way we were.

The place to be in Warren. Great place to stock up on supplies or grab coffee and a bite to eat. Keeep in mind breakfast is only offered til 11am (and breakfast is to die for)... but their lunch options are pretty fab as well. Highly recommended. I always stop when passing through and am sure to bring my friends and family when in the area!

A must stop when in the area. They had good coffee, and the food looked good. While waiting for our coffee, we looked through the shelves of merchandise for sale. They had a interesting verity of things. My daughter went upstairs and looked and clothing and accessories they offered. Coffee in hand we walked around and admired the town. With river tumbling down rocks and under a bridge next to store. We left our car there and walked down to photograph the covered bridge. It was a nice stop.

On our annual trip to VT, we always stop for sandwiches. In my opinion, a perfect country store. Its the place you’d want in your own neighborhood. Food is great and never disappoints. There is seating outside overlooking a little stream. Just off route 100.

I used to work here back in 2015 in the deli, when it was much smaller. I visited today for the first time since. Inside has changed greatly, so if you liked the old Vermont hodgepodge store, unfortunately you are out of luck. However, the deli is better than ever. They still carry old favorites and the soups are hands down the best I've ever had. A bit expensive but that French onion soup deserves the 5 star.

Quaint country store with a deli. Baked goods, old time candy, souvenirs. Very pricey- $5 for a grocery store CLIF bar! Great area outdoors to sit and eat, read, relax.

Gem of a place. A throw back to the general store feel of years gone by. Food was good (not great, could use a little more seasoning). Order up, grab a cool drink and enjoy your food on the outdoor deck next to the rumbling Mad River outside.

This quaint store on the beautiful river used to be a favorite stop for picnic provisions on summer swimming visits and fall foliage visits. Today was a huge disappointment. $15 for a small, dry BLT. $4.50 for a croissant that was hard as a rock. Tasteless bean soup. No good kid options. End of an era. We will be picking up our picnics elsewhere from now on.

It’s unfortunate that on Easter Sunday today, just having gone to church at Warren United Church across the street, I’d stop by Warren Country Store and would have a racist experience! As soon as I walked in with my fiance’, this older female clerk with long hair came behind the register and started following the both of us around the lower level of the store. She never asked us if we needed anything but made a point to watch me. Uncomfortable & unnecessary. The other staff member, a young man, upstairs was nice. However, one bad experience with one employee ruined it for me. Following the Golden Rule has everybody win. Good luck, Warren Country Store
