An adorable little spot, right on the Mad River. We came to see the eclipse, so we didn't spend a ton of time at the hotel. I'd describe it as a 'boutique motel'. The owners have completely renovated it, and its just fantastic. Their style choices are pitch perfect.The run down:the mattresses are super comfortablethe tv got loads of channels, perfect for decompressing in the eveningthe bathroom had so many hooks, which was perfect for hanging our wet gloves and other toiletry bags as well as room for towels.small fridge in the room, enough space in the freezer for some breakfast sandwiches or waffles which we heated up in the lobbyfresh coffee and tea in the lobbyfriendly and personable owners :-)Its right on the Mad River, we went out back and skipped stones. In the summer there is swimming and sunbathing out there, it's beautifulSkiing is not far away, and there are shops in Warren Green. We drove the hour to Burlington. What a wonderful city!I would absolutely stay there again. I wish we had stayed longer.

We were originally booked at the Mad River Lodge however due to power outages they moved us to the Warren Lodge where they could accommodate our party of five. The Warren Lodge was everything we needed plus! Such comfy beds and great linens, and a pretty gas fire place with a cozy atmosphere. The owners had great communication and really took care of us! We are very appreciative.

We greatly enjoyed a 3 night stay in an off site condo. Unit was cozy and very comfortable for my spouse and I. It was in an ideal location for skiing; just south of the Sugarbush access road. Unit was thoughtfully equipped with plenty of shelves and hooks. The kitchen area worked wonderfully for light cooking. We will definitely be back!

Hidden Gem! We left this place knowing we would be back. This is what true hospitality feels like when the owners actually care about the full guest experience. The service was warm and friendly. The entire place was clean and updated. There was no part of the entire stay where we were not satisfied. Definitely put this place on your list to stay anytime you visit Mad River or Sugarbush!

This place is an absolute gem! We stayed in the Magnolia room. It had everything we needed. The room was super clean and the beds were so comfortable. Dana, the host was wonderful. She gave recommendations for restaurants and we were 5-10 minutes from everything. And it was a 4 minute drive to sugarbush. We can't wait to come back again!Nearby activities: Highly recommend Mad Taco!!! Life changing taco experience!

This is a classic New England Motor Lodge, but upgraded and modern rooms. Owner was delightful and attentive and knows the local scene in the Sugarbush/Mad River Valley. Super conveniently located right at the base of the access road, close to many excellent restaurants. Definitely worth it if you and your friends/family are looking for a stay that won’t break the bank on your next ski trip.

This is a great spot - super easy and convenient. Great communication. Affordable. Simple motel with modern stylings and good amenities. Seems like the rooms take a beating from skiers and could use an offseason refresh. We’ve stayed here three times over the years and it’s a great go to for Sugarbush skiing and convenient to restaurants and towns nearby. Comfortable lobby with scrabble, snacks and hot beverages is great. Fast WiFi.

My wife and i had a wonderful stay. The lodge had very comfortable rooms with really nice decor. Everything was super clean. The facility was super close to Sugarbush. The common area had everything you could need. Zan and Dana were super responsive with any questions we had. We definitely plan to stay at one of there places again in the future.

My family does a lot of skiing throughout the northeast and anytime we travel to a new to us area I like to stay in places that are independently owned. Often times, these are among the best places to stay and that's certainly true of Warren Lodge.I rented one of the off-site condo units located near the access road to Sugarbush. The condo was clean, so cute and cozy and it had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. Given the proximity to the mountain and the quality of the accommodations, it was a great value too.I'm a big fan of contactless check-in/check-out, so I appreciated that we could accomplish both without needing to stop into the main lodge, or make arrangements to meet with someone to collect keys, etc.When staying in other condo's, I've grown accustomed to check-out procedures that include a list of chores to accomplish before heading out, but that was not the case here. We were just asked to send a text once we'd left and that was it. Very easy and much appreciated.We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed in one of the standard queen rooms at the Warren Lodge from Nov. 8th - 13th. This was our first time visiting Vermont and it was very easy to find from Burlington Airport. It’s right on Rte 100, which is basically the main road where everything in the area is (or at least right off of, it seemed!). The lodge itself is pleasant and cozy. I appreciated the self check-in as we didn’t arrive until almost 1am, as we had a very late flight. The innkeeper, Jennie was extremely helpful and responded to texts pretty much immediately during business hours. There’s a nice little coffee bar in the lobby with complimentary coffee + tea, and options to purchase snacks, hot chocolate, etc. The fun mugs and dishes added to the charm. :) I spent the entire first afternoon there just enjoying a hot cup of tea in the lobby, watching the snow fall. The lobby also has a microwave, which was handy for reheating food and making hot chocolates, and also has cutlery and plates, napkins etc. Our room had some local guide maps and booklets and a list of recommendations for local establishments, which was much appreciated, and there were more guidebooks and flyers just outside the lobby, as well. Very helpful for first-time Vermont travelers. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous! It snowed our first morning there, and it was my husband’s first time seeing snow ever, so getting to spend the entire morning on the stunning property exploring was absolutely wonderful. My only real complaint is the bed, and it’s more of a personal gripe than anything — the bed is extremely soft/squishy. If you like very soft mattresses, then you’d love it lol. Personally, I’m of the “there is no such thing as a too-firm mattress” mindset, but I was still able to sleep there. I would also advise anyone staying there to be mindful of noise. Our first 2 nights there, there were some DOT workers who get up VERY early, and we could hear their alarms….starting anywhere from 5am til whenever they eventually turned off their many, many snooze alarms. I’m sure we made noise coming in at 1am, too, but once we were aware of how much you can hear between the rooms and walkways, we took great care in trying to be mindful of others. Unfortunately the DOT workers staying there did not do the same. The weekend was very nice and quiet, though, once they checked out! No noise issues whatsoever. I only bring these issues up not to complain about the property, as it wasn’t their fault, but to let any future travelers just know to please be mindful of others while in the shared walkways, or when setting morning alarms. I would definitely stay here again, as the pricing, accommodations, and location can’t be beat! It’s so close to some very lovely places (like the Warren Store!), and very close by to Waitsfield, which has lots of fun places to shop and visit. Also a gas station just up the road for convenience, and a post office nearby. Definitely recommend, and we’re grateful for the staff at Warren Lodge for making our first visit to Vermont extra special. :) My photos are from the lobby, exterior of the property, and immediate surrounding area of the property.

Warren lodge was the perfect place . Can't say enough. From the time I booked to the time I checked out. It was very easy. My son is a Norwich Cadet , It was very close to pick him up and them explore the area. They are very friendly accommodating .The room was clean and smell free. The places to eat were good and close by. I will definitely book again for next year.

Rooms are small but cozy and very clean. Water pressure was good. Centrally located to beautiful scenery. The River behind the lodge is gorgeous with chairs and tables set up for relaxation. The innkeeper was attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend.Walkability: Not very handicap accessible.Food & drinks: Waitesburg is nearby and has plenty of places to eat. The lodge office is equipped with snacks, drinks and essentials for minimal costs.

Had an amazing short stay here while passing through town. Staff was very friendly from the second we walked in and gave us some great tips about local spots to check out. The room was comfortable and the outdoor areas were beautiful! We enjoyed some wine and a walk down to the river after coming back from town in the evening. Communication with the staff was super easy via text message and the whole process overall was very smooth. Definitely would come back next time I’m in town!

It was getting dark and the only reason I ended up at the Warren lodge was because they answered the phone after calling 4 places in the vicinity. I felt welcomed like a long lost friend by Jennie the inn keeper. The snacks and drinks are such a lovely touch. The room was spotless and comfortable. I loved it so much I stayed an extra night! They also have the most gorgeous garden with fire pits and river access! I’ve been in the road on my motorcycle for 3.5 months now and I will say this place had everything I needed (including laundry facilities) for a very decent price. Also Jennie makes the best banana bread I’ve ever tasted!
